Last time I ordered from Marco's I ordered online. Paid with a credit card and didn't leave a tip on it. The store CALLED ME to say that they noticed I didn't add a tip and if I would like to add one!!! I told them I was going to tip in cash like I usually do because I've been a server and know cash is preferred. The fact he called me is absolutely insane. Have not and will not order here again. as a general rule I like the pizza but if you go into the store and have occasion to have interaction with a shift supervisor, he will not find quality customer service experience. We've been ordering from this Marcos location since it opened and had good food and experiences until last evening. Our food was substandard, not properly prepared and the staff ignored the ringing phone both when I called and when others were calling while I was there picking up. They did not appear busy nor were they working on other orders. The Marcos site has a feedback tab that takes you to the online order page. I tried multiple times but feedback linked to the order page each time, even if you tried via their reciept code. The sandwiches we recieved were much smaller than in past and not properly made. I LOVE Marco's Pizza. I grew up in NW Ohio and there were Marco's all over the place. It was the only food I missed after moving to the NKY area. I was guilty of stopping by the Dent and Eastgate stores occasionally but having a Marco's pop up in Taylor Mill was so awesome! Pizza is great - crust is tasty, sauce is tasty, tastes good reheated, not overly greasy. I could go on all day about the Italian sub...it's my favorite Italian sub ever. No one can match it. They have great cheezybread and the prices are very reasonable. Give it a try, it's a tastier option than many other local pizza places. read more

Ordered pizza at 6pm through DoorDash. At 8:15 app said it was still being prepared. Called store and incredibly rude and unhelpful person answered. He said pizza had been sitting ready for over an hour. Whether Marco's or DoorDash's fault ( neither called us) the staff member at Marco' was ridiculously rude. I have been getting pizza at this Marco's for a few years now and about a year ago there service has gone down hill quite significantly. I have gotten pizza's with 1/2 toppings, not full. I have asked for Crust toppers and not gotten those on there. It has been a subpar pizza place for well over a year now. Currently i am sitting in there parking lot, waiting for a pizza that was "accidentally" made thin. I am 20 minutes into my wait from a drive thru pickup window and wasn't offered a refund for there mistake. This is the 2nd time this has happened in the last 6 months. The last time i had to call and complain to get proper service. I enjoy Marco's pizza and that is why i come back, but this location even those it is 2 miles from my home failing badly right now. read more

I keep trying to like this pizza chain but they do make it very hard to do so. Although the employees are very nice, they consistently get my order wrong. I'm clear. I repeat the order. I have them repeat it back. They still get it wrong. There seems to be a disconnect from the person at the front and the person making the food. I think if you order something without any changes you'd be fine. However if you make any adjustments--just accept it will be wrong. I try not to order from them if I can get something elsewhere. I always order the Italiano Sandwich. I request it the same way each time. I want meat, cheese and banana peppers ONLY. I do NOT want tomatoes, onions or the salad dressing. I want the sandwich well done because I like it super toasted. I want white bread, never wheat. This time I got meat, cheese and banana peppers but the bread was wheat and not even remotely toasted. On previous occasions, I received it twice with salad dressing, once with tomatoes, another time with onions. Once it wasn't just toasty but burned beyond recognition. Then...my favorite is when the left off the banana peppers. I get my sandwich right about once out of every six orders. Sigh. Not a bad place but don't special order anything. Well, it's been 1 full year since my first review. This location has been open for just over that same time period. I admit my honeymoon period with this store ended some time ago. I noted in my first review that, "so long as this location maintains the quality of food and customer service I don't see me having a con." In the course of the last year I know there has been significant personnel turnover including of the manager. There are both positives and negatives that will result from that with any company. From my point of view as a consumer I found the consistency in the quality of actually prepping the pizzas and hoagies took a large hit with some of the turnover. If you have some of the regulars working they still can make an excellent pizza. However, I have had some very sloppy constructs from some of the newer folks. Everyone has to learn, I just wish it wasn't with my food. I'm certain as time goes on inexperienced individuals will gain the needed experience or give way to new folks that will have to restart the training process. As a disclaimer - I decided on taking a part-time position as a delivery driver with this location starting in about Sept. of 2011. I completed my stint in May of 2012. I left with no grievance against the organization or under any duress from it either. My ability to work 2 nights a week just came to a close and I simply found a different use for my time elsewhere. My statements above are primarily from the standpoint of a consumer off the street that ate food prepared at this location and not as an employee too. (though to be fair once you have become a part of the system you critique, you must allow that some bias or inside knowledge will certainly flavor your opinion, but I have endeavored to be fair as well as accurate) Bottom-line: Fine pizza can still be had and enjoyed from this location. However, I will surely always miss those first days when everyone was hoping to please the customer, shouted welcome as you came in the door, and took greater care to make sure the quantity and quality went into each pie that left the store. read more

Terrible customer service, rude, unhelpful. I tried them for the first and last time today because someone recommended it. I will stick with Snappy or Pizza Hut for my personal and church pizza orders. Pathetic service and the food itself was ok, not great. I was reached out to, offered a refund and free pizza coupons. That sentiment is appreciated, and I am glad to see them respond personally, and swiftly. Love Marcos pizza! Their pizza is consistently delicious and is definitely my favorite pizza place. They have a number of deals on their website and often have others if you call in. Online ordering is very easy and convenient. Highly recommend getting all of the crust toppers! Delicious! My only warning is that other pizzas don't compare once you've had Marcos! read more

Honestly this place was kinda terrible. The pizza was not too good, the staff were rude, and when I walk in I hear one of the staff members ranting about "Mexican people", "the border", and "illegals need to stop trying to come over". At the time I was new to the area and I received a new resident promotional deal and the directions were not clear at all and I guess I didn't follow directions properly and the staff member was rude about it. This location produces some of the best delivery pizza in the tri-state. The delivery arrives crazy hot. In addition to that, they usually show up well before you expect them to. The toppings are evenly distributed and the pie arrives as pretty as a picture. Upon calling in the past with coupon that turned out to be for another location, the manager was accommodating and met us half way and we were still happy and full. This store exceeds delivery pizza standards by miles and the quality is way up there and overall really delicious. Will not go back to larger local delivery chains! read more

The online ordering a joke. Two stores within 3 miles the one that is the closest one won't deliver to my house 2.3 miles away. That is the first stupid thing. The next store doesn't have the same coupon the first did and their prices ore more expensive to where my whole order went up by $10. What kind of crap is that. Two stores within five miles of each other with such a big difference. In price and deals it's a joke and bullshit. A co-worker of mine was raving about this new pizza place called, Marco's. Well I consider my self a pizza fanatic so I had to try it and it was just O.K.....nothing to rave about nothing to really be disappointed in.....the crust was the best part of the pizza I got it with Garlic Butter, Parmasean, and Romano. I believe the guy that was working behind the counter talking about the "numbers" may have been the owner, he was nice enough, but never introduced himself, so wasn't really sure how he was. I ordered on-line and got the pepperoni magnifico, since I was just wanting to try it, well the old world pepperoni was supposed to be left off and when I got home it was on there. I moved into my apartment and got a free pizza from Marcos as apart of my move in package. Ever since then I've been in love. Their employees are so nice, and patient. They make sure your order is right, and if you come in store they're friendly and don't answer the phone while assisting you, which can be rude sometimes. The last 5 times I've ordered I've ask please be sure order is right, when it is delivered the order is ALWAYS MISSING the ingredients I've ask for.
