Cheesy Bread w/out garlic sauce crust and Parmesan crust
Gracie D.

Messed up my order. Normally I love coming to this Marcos but they messed up the cheesy bread, it had no garlic sauce on it or Parmesan cheese. I ordered everything correctly and even double checked after I realized it was wrong. A similar thing happened to my pizza, I added Roma crust, garlic sauce crust, and Parmesan cheese crust. Once again none of this was on my pizza. Just disappointed

Several years ago, a guy I worked with ordered pizza for the office. I didn't get the message until a few hours too late, so I got a cold piece. Even though it wasn't fresh by then, it was GOOD. Fast forward a few years, I get another chance because that place that had delivered the yummy pizza to my work opened up a location near my home. I placed my order online-which was not difficult. I love when a website, especially food, makes the ordering process easy. To satisfy the varied tastes in our household, I did a custom pizza-half with no cheese and mushrooms, pepperoni & sausage on all. I've gotten used to places getting my orders wrong, and have learned to pick off the stuff I don't want. But these guys Got. It. Right. Praises sang to the heavens! The whole way home (I chose carry-out to get a chance to leave the house), the smell of the pizza was delectable. Once home, we ripped open the lid and dug in; we were so fast I didn't get a picture of the full, in-tact pizza. Audible "oohs" and "ahhs" could be heard all around our dining room. The pizza was delicious. The sausage chunks were large and flavorful and the mushrooms (which I got all to myself) were oh so tasty. To say that I'm pleased would be an understatement. If I ever get to meet Marco himself (I know, probably not a real dude, but let me dream) I would be honored to shake his hand and break crust with him.

Nice change from other pizza places. Good food, reasonable prices. I've yet to have a bad experience with these cats.

“The pepperoni magnifico is yummy too, but a tad on the greasy and salty side ( which is expected because of the pepperonis).”

Our party called in for 6pm waitlist. We arrived at 5:59 and they had already given our spot to someone else because we weren't there at 5:57. They then proceeded to sit us outside where it was is insanely windy. Menus, napkins were blowing off our table and the tables around us. Everything was everywhere and we couldn't keep anything on the table. We put plates and cups on menus to hold them down as long as we could. I asked the waiter if we could be on a waitlist to sit inside and he said sure. 5 min later she proceeded to bring the people at the table next to us inside and never brought us inside the entire time we were there. As we were trying to eat in the wind, another waiter proceeded to empty water over a nearby fence, and because it was sooo windy, the water ended up coming back and splashing our entire party in the face. That part of the valley is just insanely windy in general and if they want outdoor seating, they gotta prepare better for the weather. The beer is always great and the pizza is solid. The experience was just sub par. I'll stick to the Sandy location.

Ross grew up in a large Italian family in Chicago and wanted to bring the classic "old-school" Italian flavors he grew up with to Utah after finding they were hard to come by when he moved here. The restaurant is located in Taylorsville, about 10-15 minutes southwest of downtown Salt Lake City, making it an easy stop whether you're staying in the city or exploring the surrounding area. Always great to spend time with family, and this was the perfect place to do it! We had a fantastic dinner. The calamari was crispy, tender, and delicious. The gnocchi was flavorful and comforting, and my steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside, with a spacious banquet area in the back that's perfect for private parties and family celebrations. Even though it was a busy weeknight, the service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. There's plenty of parking, and they can easily accommodate both small groups and large family gatherings. Cheers--I look forward to coming back!

You can tell she loves her job and is proud of her cook. This place may not look fancy like other Italian restaurants with dim lighting, fancy deco, but her food speaks for itself. Her salad is always fresh and flavorful. We had avocado salad. It's not just a bed of mix green with avocado slices. There's apple slices, mixed green, every piece is lightly covered with rich and refreshing dressing. The pizza is not the usual pizza from pizzeria, she made it from scratch. It has its own texture. Pork lasagna is light! It is not the typical thick pasta layers. Everything is made from scratch. We love it. My friend said it's more northern Italian cooking. It's not loaded with red tomato sauce. The pasta is thinner, the ground pork is tender. Then comes my favorite short rib ravioli. I'm usually not a fan of ravioli, because they're always full of cheese and nothing else, but Susy's is full of short rib. Just meat, not trying to cheat with cheese or cream. If I want real authentic Italian food, I'll come here. I love how Susy will stop by the table, chat with us, told us what tv show she's watching. When she's excited, she'll talk with her hands, what an adorable lady. One thing to keep in mind, it's a one person's does it all, so it'll take a bit longer to get your food. Come in hungry but not too hungry so you don't get hangry!
