Needed something quick and fast for dinner tonight and decided to try marco's pizza bc my bf said it was good. They had a really good deal large triple pepperoni pizza for only $11 so we got that with garlic sauce on our crust, and a house salad. Pizza was very fresh, and had a lot of toppings and cheese. Crust was garlicy and buttery, super good. The house salad was fresh and had a lot of toppings which I was happy with! Service was great the cashier gave us parmesan and red peppers no charge so that was nice bc most places charge for that now. We took our order to go but the inside was clean. read more

Really don't know where to begin. I'm a regular customer here at Marcos. I ordered our New Year's Eve and they usually have a delivery driver however that night they didn't. Not only did DoorDash not deliver my food, but I was still charged a delivery charge and I did tip obviously. Marcos was nice enough to remake my order, but they did forget to include the side sauces I ordered. When I contacted DoorDash, they weren't able to find my order so I'm I lost my money for delivery fees and the tip. I am upset because i didn't get a refund for the delivery fee or the tip. I don't think it's fair that I paid a delivery fee and a tip and had to go get my pizza and they still messed up my order. read more

After hearing about a keto pizza (crust less) option - my wife wanted to try it. They have a meatball tray and an pizza Tray. We ordered one pizza and one meatball both with white sauce. My wife said the red sauce probably has sugar in it. I preferred the meatball tray - these meatballs do NOT have breading in them. It was actually quite good - both of these trays are very rich. There are a couple of Marcos pizzas around - so try them - their regular pizza looked quite good too! read more

Food was hot and delicious. The task standout though was my curbside delivery. I pulled up at my exact curbside time and before I could even turn off my car there was a guy standing there with my huge order. The pizza was good . R rd he place was quite and clean but the service sucked big time. Almost a half hour for 2 large pizzas was crazy. I tried to order online but it doesn't give you the option to opt out of tomato's. So I tried to call to make an order and was hung up on so then I had to drive to this location and order in person to still wait 24 minutes. When it wasn't even busy. I'm assuming the lack of staff was the problem. read more

Felt like a ghost when I walked in. Nobody acknowledged me. My pizza sat on the oven like they didn't see it either. Waited ten minutes before I had to make my presence known and asked about my order, that they just turned around and handed me. Checked it and it was wrong, so I went back to ask for pineapples. Guy gave me a plate of pineapples and just set it on my pizza because they didn't have any to-go containers. Order ready at 8:49 and didn't leave until 9:08 because of all of that bullshit. read more

Don't be fooled by the fact that it shares a building with Sonic. This place is to pizza as Chipotle is to Mexican food or Whataburger is to burgers. It's elevated fast food. I was impressed by how quickly it was ready (less than 10 minutes) after I called. We liked what we ordered, but it could have been better with some modifications. The All Meat Pizza Bowl is a bit heavy for me. I can't imagine wanting a dish that's only meat and cheese. It didn't remind me a whole lot of pizza either because of all the ham, which is not one of my favorite pizza toppings. I think the Deluxe Pizza Bowl, which has bell pepper and mushroom, would really scratch the pizza itch for someone doing keto or low-carb. The Italian Sub is not bad, but the banana peppers made it too spicy for me. read more

I ordered only takeout before due to coronavirus but this establishment makes food quality pizza. It's definitely more expensive than other places but worth the price. I wasn't a fan of the chicken strips or the cheese signature pizza, but I'd say the build your own option is great because I can tell it's made fresh and with good ingredients. read more

Not going to lie, when my gf said she wanted to order pizza from the restaurant adjacent to sonic, instantly was not fond of the idea. I had never heard of Marcos Pizza, nor did I care. Customer service was great, we ordered a combo deal, with cheese bread, and our usual jalapeños and pepperoni. To my biggest surprise Marcos Pizza has jumped any other pizza joint on my list. To start off the cheesy bread is made to perfection. You NEED TO GET IT! Wings,Nah you can pass nothing wow about them.. But This pizza is absolutely remarkable! I've since been back and tried one of their specialty pizzas, and that was even better than my first! I highly highly recommend you get into Marcos Pizza as soon as you get a chance! read more

Being a huge fan of pizza, and having had great pizza from all over the world, I was pleasantly surprised when I had Marco's pizza last night. Being my first time eating a pizza from Marco's, I opted to go simple: a large old world pepperoni with parm sprinkled on the crust. This pizza did not disappoint. The crust was flavorful, well baked, and the right consistency. The cheese was good and the sauce was just the right mix of savory and sweet. The old world pepperoni was delicious. More importantly, the pizza was not overly greasy. Despite expecting lots of grease given the amount of pepperoni, there was not a lot. Don't get me wrong - there was some; it's inevitable. The amount of grease, however, did not detract from the pizza in any way. My wife, who usually blots grease off her pizza did not feel the need to do so in this case. All in all, I'd say this is probably the best pizza I've had in San Antonio. I will happily order from Marco's again, and I look forward to trying more flavor combinations. read more

Ok so I have ordered from Marcos pizza on several occasions n to b honest, wasn't expecting to b wowed HOWEVER I WAS!!! This place is DELICIOUS FOOD n fresh!!! This place , I can't believe I'm goin to say this, is BETTER than my favorite "reasonable" pizza place LIL CEASARS yes!!! The pizza is so good!!! The salads r fresh n crisp! U can add n take out certain things WITHOUT extra fees!!! Yes I said it!!! They r super nice n friendly, helpful n the food is great! I have to tell u that if u have t had this pizza UR MISSING OUT!!!! Now I don't no if every single one is lyke the one by our house so this one is great!!! In a realm of pizza huts, dominoes and little Caesar's, Marco's stands out from the crowd and says, "Hey, I'm pizza too and you're gonna like it!" The cauliflower pizza crust is legit! On the occasion I want to be healthy, that's my go to but the majority of the time, their suction cup pepperonis on a large with extra cheese sets me up for a mid morning nap. Yes, I said mid morning, deal with it! It's not my job to explain my eating habits or senseless ideologies, just get here and enjoy the pizza, sheesh! read more

The pizza itself is great and the delivery is normally pretty quick. My only small issue is that every time I order, I pay for extra dipping sauces and I rarely receive the extras I paid for. It's probably only a matter of about $2 each time but if you order often enough that adds up, plus I can't enjoy my pizza the way I intended to. Not a huge deal but it shouldn't happen this frequently especially if I'm paying for it. Other than that I love this place! read more

We've been coming here since they opened just a few years ago. Pizza used to be great. I missed the pizza from up north and this was the closest to it that I've had. However, over the last year, the quality has gone downhill. Their sausage used to be unique little patties that tasted like sausage. Now they taste like mystery meat with no seasoning. The shape isn't even the same. The dough seems to have change. It's pretty flat now, and tastes like it's frozen. Our pizza tonight had the bottom of the crust missing. We ordered a sausage magnifico and there was hardly any pizza sauce. It was very dry. We also had a bbq chicken pizza. I have no idea why you would have pizza sauce AND bbq sauce on it. Very weird combo that doesn't mix well. Just meh. read more

Placed an order for delivery. When it was 1/2 hour past the estimated delivery time I checked the app and it says "your order was cancelled ". I called the store and they said "yeah we had a driver problem so the manager cancelled it." Thanks for letting me know!! I'm done with this place. read more

RUDE. We ordered from this Marco's several times since they're so close even though their pizza is not the greatest. Last time I ordered a pizza on the phone, the employee was noticeably annoyed with me, but took my order and said it would be on the way. Called back 2 minutes later to tell me we were too far away from their location and they couldn't take my order. I've ordered delivery from this location numerous times....we live 10 minutes away... The guy cancelled the order because he was annoyed with me or didn't want to work, I'm not sure. I'm not paying $15+ for bad pizza and bad service. read more

This use to be my favorite place to order pizza from, but these last 3 times have changed that for me!!! They have either sent terribly made pizzas or the completely wrong order. The delivery before this one they managed to deliver the pizza wrong 3 times lol like how?? I don't know who's making the pizzas or taking the orders, but they need to start paying attention to detail when it comes to making the right pizza and delivering it. Tonight was honestly my last chance I gave Marcos, other times I thought it may have been a bad night....But now they have been constantly delivering unacceptable pizzas. My delivery this evening was nothing short of terrible, sloppy, and unappetizing ... they did re-make our pizzas, and well they looked like this and worse. I may have just eaten the best pizza I've had in a long time. My 19 year old granddaughter also loved it. 1/2 vegetarian with spinach and 1/2 pepperoni. The perfect balance of flavors and crust with just the right amount of crunch. Not too salty. Not too done. Just right! I ate 1/2 a large before I realized it. Delivery was prompt. The pizza was hot when it arrived. Definitely will eat at Marcos again!! read more

Stood at the cash register for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I should've just walked out at that point but I guess I love to have a bad first experience. After the 3 people standing around talking decided to acknowledge my existence, took my order and I then had to wait 20 minutes for 2 pizzas. We had Marco's pizza several years ago when we lived in Tennessee and we liked it because I love to order a crisp salad with my pizza... just something I grew up with. Was super excited when we got a Marco's here in The Rim like 5 mins across the parking lot from us. Chef salad was good except the onions were extra ripe (overpowering), but just picked them out. Pizza was tasty and hot when it arrived. It was a bit smushed in the box (looked like the box got turned on it's side)... it's all looks the same when you eat it lol. This pizza is so delicious and sooo cheesy! It has such a great flavor from the seasoning they top the crust with. I was so tired of the usual pizza places and wanted something different, that was worth trying, and that didn't cost a fortune and I found it here! The staff was super nice and very helpful when I called to place my order since I experienced difficulties trying to order online. I'm so glad Marco's Pizza opened near me in The Rim. Firstly, Let me just say, I am BLOWN AWAY by the young people working hard to serve us a hot dish. The customer service at this establishment is out of the world. Instantly I felt welcomed with their warm genuine greeting when my son and I wandered in. Everyone was working so hard and everyone was sooooo friendly. Secondly the pizza we ordered was delicious. Do not waste your time here. Pizza was a curbside order. We were there and checkin. Waited 35 min in the car like we were asked to do. Finally went in to get pizza and the kid said oh we're short staffed. We asked, why didn't you notify us and we would come inside. He said "sorry man and then said get the F out! Seriously, don't go. The service is excellent, everyone beginning to end was super nice and helpful. Our server did a great job at explaining the menu and what to expect. We got the original fried chicken, which is basically a chicken cut up into pieces so you get a little bit of everything of a whole chicken. This recipe is still crispy, we got the honey soy sauce on the side, and that sauce is amazing! We ended up ordering more. We also got the crispy wings, those are double fried and definitely have lots of crisp! Every piece was hot and fresh, very juicy and a perfect seasoning. We also ordered some fries that had a powdered cheese on them and the guy did let us know it was a sweet cheese, but I was definitely not expecting that much sweet. Honestly they were not my favorite, it's very strange to have a sweet powdered cheese on french fries. I was not a fan, but my husband liked them. And lastly, is the slaw and the pickled radish that they bring out, I liked those very much and they gave a perfect balance and touch of acid against the wings and the richness of the sauce. The location isn't something you immediately see off the road, it's right in the corner of a strip mall off of De Zavala. Definitely worth the trip, these wings and this chicken were 10 out of 10!

I was expecting to be blown outta my mind with flavors or tastes that I haven't had for awhile, but Nopeeee it was just some average wings & NOTHING Special. I came back inside to enquire about my Waffle & the young Man from the kitchen came out to tell me that there was an issue with the Waffle & it came out soupy. So I said alrighty then, what ya gonna do for me then? He said they'd give me some more Wings, I said sure, that would do & I really appreciate the kindness & follow through. Service was courteous, but a bit inconsistent in terms of attentiveness. I'm sharing this in the spirit of wanting the restaurant to improve, because it has a lot going for it. With more consistency in the kitchen and a bit more focus on execution, it could be a much stronger experience.
