While their pizza is pretty good, their service and online ordering app is awful. I've ordered from Marcos numerous times but always for pickup. When I ordered and specified for delivery which included a nice tip and paid with credit card, I assumed the order went through; it didn't. After waiting an hour, I called to find out if there was a problem. I was told that on line delivery orders are not easy to track because the driver has the info, not the cashier??? Then, she found the order, but it wasn't for delivery, it was for pickup. When I sounded a bit impatient over this, I was told to take a breath. I'm not in the business of trouble shooting their problems, I only know I will never go back or recommend Marcos at Northwood plaza, Clearwater FL to anyone. read more

I love pizza, and i love Marcos pizza !! Their prices are awesome- keep an eye out for coupons in the mail and online! They do deliver and you can order online on yelp or on the phone. There can be quite a wait sometimes for delivery, about 45 average depending on the time of day, but the food comes hot and fresh. While they offer some great pizza, but also great sandwiches and salads at a great price! Portions are large and filling and the quality is great. The lady who answers the phone answers in Spanish and has very little knowledge of the deals online and refuses to acknowledge them or let you know why they can't be honored. The only reason I continued with the order was because my daughter was here from out of town and loves their pizza. When my order got here it was missing the cinnamon rolls!!! I wanted to try a diff pizza chain so u gave this place a chance. I ordered online but unfortunately the orderdidn't go thru. The guy in the counter Alex I believe was his name was very polite and courteous. I told him my order and he gave me the same discount/deal as I tried to buy online since I don't have he coupon with me. But he gave us the bread stick free of charge and gave us drinks for for free as well while we waited. We didn't mid the wait as we were not in a rush. There is a big TV inside to keep us occupied. The pizza we ordered came out considerably fast about 15 mins wait. There are only about 20 seats inside if you decide to dine in and no tables outside. I can compare the pizza crust to papa John's in my opinion. However over all I like their pizza more especially the bread sticks, those are definitely better than any bread sticks from other pizza chains. I will definitely come back because of the costumer service they showed and we liked the food. Lesson learned make sure to check if you are ordering online that you receive a confirmation in email to make sure the order went through. read more

After months of my aunt (whose palate is regrettably, often of the...not very good variety) hounding us to try Marco's, my mom and I finally placed an order yesterday. Man, tia came through this time! This pizza chain offers a welcome respite from Pizza Hut and Domino's, with the expected comfort of a basic, not-trying-too-hard pizza. They had an awesome 2-topping medium pizza special when we called. I told the guy on the phone that I wanted one of the pizzas to be just plain cheese, but he said "no, it has to be 2 toppings"; so, naturally, I asked for extra cheese and he happily obliged (unlike the aforementioned chains who don't count extra cheese as a second topping and instead charge an additional fee for it). The pizza was delicious and fresh and ooeygooeycheesy. It was perfect. The other one we ordered was a veggie pizza that I'm still dreaming about. The only reason I'm docking a star is because both pizzas were really greasy--like, grease pooled at the top of each slice. I'm not a fan of that. I'm a fan of their thin crust pizza. It kinda reminds me of school pizza.....and I REALLY like that! It's especially good when you eat it hot of course like any pizza, so it's cool that they have some tables where you can dine in. It's small but perfect size since most people order carryout our delivery anyways. I did try their regular pizza crust and it was good too. I just love thin crust so it's what I prefer to order when I go there. The place looks very clean and there is a tv playing so you can watch while you dine in. I came here for a quick dinner. Upon walking in, I noticed the place looks very clean. It appears to be a family run business, as the kids are working behind the counter. I like that, being that I also used to work at my dad's restaurant as a kid. Prices aren't too bad I ordered a meatball sub. 15-20 minutes later they brought it out. The taste was pretty good. But, it was cold on the inside! It's pretty obvious that they make the subs earlier and keep them in the cooler until they are ordered. I figured it was pre-cooked, and having eaten Italian food right out of the fridge most of my life, and being extremely hungry, I didn't bother sending it back. This was a mistake, as I am writing this review from my porcelain throne, and my stomach feels like a 13 year old girl getting her first visit from the monthly hate fairy. Plus I walk in and there is no one upfront to greet you. I have to yell hello and someone comes out after 3 minutes, normally a lady. The only pizza place I go to since I left New York....and we're known for our pizza lol. The place is very clean and has plenty of seats for dining in. You're greeted right away and the prices are as awesome as the pizza. I usually pick up my order and it only takes 15-20 minutes to make. They always include coupons on top of the pizza box. We eat pizza once a week, so we try to give other neighboring pizzerias a chance but always end up coming back to Marcos. They're toppings are always so plentiful and fresh. They're subs are also top notch. The only thing we didn't care for were the wings, but considering that their chicken dippers have improved, we might have to give it a try again. Have been getting pizzas in Bay Village, Ohio many times. Never disappointed with the pizza at that location. Probably won't order one from the Kendall location again. I order from marcos at least once a week. Tonight was my last night I will ever order again.....I ordered a deluxe pizza and added black olives. The pizza came with green olives. I called and asked why and he said they were out of black olives. These were the substitute. They were not true green olives, but are in the green olive family.
