Marco's has great pizza but I was very disappointed in our last deluxe pizza. It wasn't consistent as the one we had two weeks ago. Jury is still out. Ordered 4 times so far. 1st was a pretty long wait for delivery but good pizza, second was even longer wait for pizza and overcooked unpleasant pizza, third was even longer wait for delivery but pizza was okay. Terrible customer service. They would not honor a coupon that was online. Then when my wife called back to confirm the price , because it didn't appear they applied the coupon ,they rudely told her they didn't accept that coupon even though it's on their website. So my wife then informed them we would just cancel the order , then the lady on the phone said whatever and hung up on my wife. I ordered the veggie fresco first off it took 15 min of my lunch time to get it beings the staff was busy playing grab ass and literally staring How they "hate their job" after getting my sandwich I unwrapped a soggy mess. It's super annoying that I had to go pick up my pizza because tonight they were "understaffed" as explained to me on the phone. It's also super annoying that when I payed for extra toppings I didn't get them, and my pizza crust was not "topped".. while these seem like stupid things to complain about.. pizza isn't cheap. And delivery is the benefit of ordering pizza.. so I'm rightfully pissedlastly, when I arrived, there was a driver pulling up, at least 6 staff members in the store, and only my two pizzas waiting on the rack.. nothing you would expect to see when you hear they are "backed up and understaffed"... Just plain disappointing. Not sure why we bother ordering from this place again and again. Every time, something is wrong. Just moved to Menifee in November and have been ordering pizza from Mountain Mikes but today they didn't open until 3pm. So I decided to support a different local business and try Marcos even though it was a bit further for me to drive. My order was taken by a guy with zero smile or personality over the phone. I asked him a question about the wings and he answered the question with sarcasm and made me feel stupid. I then apologized to him for asking the question and his response was "anything else." Unbelievable!!! In my experience new customers typically ask simple questions because they have never seen or used your service or product before. No customer should ever feel stupid or have to apologize for asking questions especially a new customer.. I guess I should have waited till 3 pm for the other place to open. Food quality was good but customer service was trash!! I know a lot of people who need work right now and this guy seems like he doesn't want to be there. I will attach a photo of my receipt. I had the two topping pizza. I was very hungry. The manager took my order, I think. He was telling other people what to do. He suggested something else to me but I was so hungry I did not understand anything but the total, gave him the money and waited for less than 10 minutes. My complaints would be: it seemed the tomatoes were put on a as an afterthought, not baked on with the mushrooms. I want it to be more melted, cheesier. I ate inside the restaurant. He brought the box of pizza to me. That was nice,instead of just calling my name and making me use the little energy I had to walk to the counter. I said well how about you don't make the pizza till you have drivers available so I don't get a hard stale pizza. He the proceeds to tell me, "look pick it up or get it stale and old." WOW!! Really? This is probably the best gluten-free pizza I have had since moving out here. Marco's pizza is by far my family's number one choice for pizza. I would highly recommend their gluten-free pizza. My family loved their meatball sub, regular pizza, and the pizza bowls (keto friendly). With my family having different dietary needs we can all go and enjoy a meal from Marco's pizza. With us being on lockdown right now, we truly appreciate the establishment for being open and all their hard work. It shows in their amazing pizza! It is always hot, like it's always fresh out the oven. It is always so clean in there and we have always received amazing customer service!! This place seems to be going downhill. They no longer offer the specials online that were great deals. Their pizza used to taste amazing and now is just okay. We ordered the garlic butter and Parmesan crust and either they now make it way different or they completely forgot to apply the toppings. I ordered a large pepperoni, antipasto salad and 10 buffalo wings. My 7year old is obsessed with wings at the moment. I've tried all kinds at different places and these by far are the best! Crispy with just the right amount of sauce. Little fat so you actually get some chicken! The salad was for me. Usually salads you order from fast food or delivery the lettuce seems limp and soggy. This was complete opposite, nice and fresh lettuce. Crisp. Lots of tomatoes and black olives. No skipping on the salami or ham either. Very good portion. Loved it. Pizza was very tasty. The pizza is amazing so I'm back for a second time but it feels like an abusive relationship. The manager here hates customers. He was so rude. We're about to spend $50 on lunch and I asked if we could have our wings half buffalo half honey bbq. He just flat out said no. I said I was willing to pay more. He said "nope! Not my rules. That's policy." What manager of a food chain doesn't have the authority to squeeze 2 sauces instead of one. He could care less about his job. And the GM has to be desperate to know that this is going on (I'm not the first person to complain about his lack of customer service ) and not try to rectify the situation any. Don't ever go in there, I entered this place at 10:40 am not knowing they weren't open, I went to the restroom with the intention of getting some breakfast after, and no one was at the counter. The employee started banging on the door saying that I had to get out because they weren't open?! Why was the entrance door not locked then? I told him I was on the toilet seat and that I am coming out in 2 minutes, and he said 'you need to hurry up and get out'. Really nice way to treat people. Second time ordering delivery from Marcos and we are so impressed. Not only is the pizza delicious, but their service has been remarkable. Pizza is fast and always hot! Our house is also hard to find out on a dirt road, but with a little direction they always seem to find us. Today, when I went to pay for the order online, they offered me a 30% discount just because it was available.. ummm score! Then, when they delivered my pizzas, they gave me 3. I'm finally through with this location. After many visits to other locations with great success, it stops there. unfortunately this is the one near my house. Recommendations, when calling for pick up, always add 15-20 minutes. When you do arrive early, make sure to stand at the counter and wait for your name to be called once, and only once, from the preparer in the kitchen as the counter persons are continually taking new orders and are not paying attention. Marco's pizza is amazing. The pizzas are tasty with the right amount of sauce and cheese without asking for extras. The bacon quality is incredible, real bacon, thick cut and delicious. Staff is courteous and servicial if you call or go in person and when we use delivery, which is most of the time, the food arrives hot, and before the expected time. Their drivers are very respectful, engaging and professional. I like the app and the rewards systems. The coupons are also a good value. The food is definitely worth every penny we spend. I read a bunch of terrible reviews about the lazy staff here, I don't know why I decided to give them a shot. So I placed an order on their online site which said Delivery Time: 45-55 minutes. I get a phone call about 5 minutes later from some teenage kid saying "Sorry but its going to take 3 hours to get your delivery". Yes. He said 3 hours. I live less than a mile away, a 3 minute drive down a single road. At this point my debit card was already charged. So I ask if I can cancel my order and get a refund? Sure, but its going to take 3 business days. More than likely they were a little busy and the kids that are running this place didn't want to deal with another order, so they call up their customers and scare them away by telling them its going to be 3 hours to get their pizza out to them. Of course everyone who gets that call is going to cancel. Who wants to wait 3 hours for a pizza. That call was just a way of saying, sorry we don't want your business read more
