Marco's Pizza - Pizza is better than the "The Hut" - Pizza Near Me - Madison, Georgia

This is the third time we've ordered from here and either (1) they've messaged us half an hour later saying they were no longer delivering, even though we ordered delivery, (2) it got lost, or (3) it said it would be delivered in "minutes" and we were still without dinner 50+ minutes later. Madison is a very small town, so not exactly sure what's taking so long, but we have yet to have a good experience here. On the evening of July 24, 2020 I called to place an order for delivery to my home in Madison, GA. Upon calling the store, I was immediately placed on hold. I held on the line for 2-5 minutes before the call was picked up and disconnected. I called back to attempt to place a delivery order. The Marco's staff member took my order and placed me on hold. When the staff member came back on the line, I was informed that the credit card machine was down. I was asked if we could pay with cash. I responded by telling them that I do not carry cash. We ended the call thinking that was that. At 9:50pm that night, I heard a knock at my door. It was a Marco's delivery boy! We looked out the front door in complete shock. Pizza had been delivered to our home without even paying. We informed the driver of the situation. He responded by saying that the machine was back up and running. The driver stated he would call the store from his own phone so that payment could be processed. My fiance provided our debit card number over the phone. The Marco's employee quickly ended the call before a tip could added. My fiance then asked the delivery person about methods to tip - also mentioning that we did not have cash to do so. The delivery driver obviously became very upset and short with words. He stated, "you know what?! Have a nice night man!!" and stormed off my front deck. The next morning, I came out to my vehicle and noticed a long, deep, horizontal scratch in the passenger side of my vehicle. The scratch was so deep that the clear coat had curled up and back in the direction that the pen or key had been dragged. The damage caused to my vehicle is consistent with 'keying' someone's paint. I contacted local police so that a report could be made. Officer Morris mentioned in taking my report that they recently had another physical damage claim in the area with a Marco's delivery person. In collecting information for my incident report, officer Morris asked for the name of the delivery driver. I informed her that I did not have that information. With the entire fiasco, we did not receive a receipt. Officer Morris stated that she would go by the Marco's store in attempt to collect more information after she completed a funeral detail earlier that morning. I also contacted the store in effort to collect more specifics. The manager, Katie, answered my call. Upon mentioning the reason for my contact, she became very upset and isolated. It became clear to me that details about my order and delivery were not going to be released to me. A few days later, I obtained the incident report that officer Morris had completed. She also was not provided with the name of the Marco's delivery driver. I contacted the store (#8225) yet again to obtain the details of my delivery that night. The manager on shift that I spoke with was Daisy. Daisy informed me that the delivery driver's name was Zach (unsure of spelling). The head manager, Katie, called me back asking me to 'never call their store again'. One has to wonder if this employee has had performance or conduct issues documented in the past. I have filed a formal complaint with Marco's Corporate. I will never spend another cent on what this company has to offer. Steer clear and do not opt for delivery unless you want your property damaged! Posted using one star because that was the minimum requirement to post this complaint. read more

this establishment needs some major diversity and training I went in there today for my lunch break I was told my food would be ready by 12 noon that's not the issue I paid as soon as I enter the establishment I was told it would be 5 mins after waiting 15 mins the lady preparing the pizza, came around the manger on the phone trying to compensate a church for an extended wait keep in mind I'm a African America, that paid as soon as I enter the building receipt in hand I said mam my lunch was only 30 minutes can you give me my pizza please I've already paid receipt credit card and keys in hand and she tells me she can't give me my pizza because she's not sure if I paid!!!!! hold up don't try my integrity are character for 9.99 mam every person doesn't lie are steal and you put me in that box leaving me no other outlet but to flip out not do mention his wiping sweat with his hands in his pan the delivery lady come from out side goes straight behind the counter with fungus on her nail. don't be mistreated or represented for convenience. this place suckkkkks! read more

Decent pizza, delivery guy was patient and kind. Pizza was a little dry and greasy, but overall good food.

So I order pizza and a few things maybe about a week ago. So I called in to order , but I was afraid I wouldn't be home in time to pay them. Well my mom was home and paid for the food, me not knowing I called and paid also for the food over the phone . I was told she would tell "Zach" to come back with the 30 dollar something cash , I never heard back . So I called two days ago , they claim they remember and they will get the manager to call me back .. still have not heard from them. Honestly if they would have been sincere, and came back the same day I would have let them keep the 30 dollars to add onto the tip I gave over the phone , but I have no heard from this company .. I even ask will the 30 just be credited for next time I order. I don't plan on ordering again ! read more

My wife called in a order to be picked up. When I got there I was told the order was not quite ready. I paid for the order and after waiting ten minutes a lady came up to me and asked what my order was. I told her but she could not find it. Then another girl came out and asked me what I ordered so I showed her my receipt. Finally a young man came out and gave me what I thought was my order. When I got home my wife said we were missing the salad she ordered. I checked the receipt and confirmed that I had been charged for the salad. I called the store and told a man named Guy that they had shorted my order and asked them to deliver the salad and was told that they would not deliver it because it was my fault for not checking the order. After a huge argument I was told they would only deliver the salad if I guarantee the driver a big tip. I was told that there was no manager to speak to and my only recourse was to come back tomorrow or drive back in to pick up the salad. I have ordered from this business several times for delivery. The last time I did my wait time was estimated to be an hour, no problem. After 2 hours had gone by I called the store and was told my order was on its way and that they were short a driver blah blah blah. At 2 hours and 30 minutes I called again and was told it was on its way, that's when I got ill. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not one there. Then the story changed to hold on she's right here. I never did speak to the manager but was told they were reversing the charges on my card and that I would get a credit for a free pizza. Right as the employee is telling me this the delivery guy knocked on my door holding the pizza, no warming bag, and asking me to sign the receipt. I gave the phone to him and he was told to just leave the pizza and bring the unsigned receipt back to the store. The pizza was cold, and I never did get the credit. The only decent thing they did is reverse the charges. I will not order from Marco's again. read more
