If it's a Friday night and you're considering Marco's Pizza in Layton as a food source, you may want to do everyone a favor and consider your other options. The pizza here is great, and any other time of the week I would totally recommend it. However, in the face of a crowd they struggle. We arrived to a full lobby and placed our order to dine in and were given a 45 minute wait time. No problem, we will go to the park while we wait. 45 minutes later we return and I waited another 20 minutes for anyone to ask where we were at in the list along with uber eats girl, husband of amy and the cute newlyweds. The girl who may have been in charge, hard to tell, finally got to me and looked and looked for my order...which apparantly was lost. "No I didn't have my copy of the reciept but here is the original in this here stack of reciepts." They said they would make mine next. Another 20 minutes go by and still no pizza, so back to the front I go. All my new besties are still there. Husband of Amy told me they burned a bunch of pizzas, cute newlyweds are just staying the course now and uber eats girl came back for a second pickup. At one point they called out an order for "John" and newlywed girl and I both raised our hand. Seriously, at this point I don't care what kind of pizza it is. Newlywed girl said she would just pick the pineapple off. Uber eats girl was quoted a 30 minute wait so she tapped out. Husband of Amy finally got his 4 pizzas...leaving me and the cute newlyweds. They finally hand me a pizza...and my 2 liter soda after I reminded them to. THEN, at 8pm, they told me they were closing. WTF? There's a whole other post in that. So, back to the park we went. If you like your pizza stuck to the underside of the box lid (twice) get Marco's! If you like your pizza not delivered at all because: A) they're out of pizza dough (I'm not kidding), B) they didn't get your order, or C) they just plain forgot that it was sitting on the shelf waiting for a driver, get Marco's. If you want the wrong pizza delivered, get Marco's. These are all things that have happened to me in just the past 6 months. Enjoy! read more

I ordered a delivery on the website, entered my delivery address and order went through as a pick up which they refused to change. I had no way to pick it up so I paid for a pizza I did not get. I will never order from them again. read more

Had a birthday party at get air which included pizza. They were extremly late in delivering and the bottom of both pizzas were burned! When 11 year olds wont even eat the pizza you know it's really bad! read more

I never been to a Marco's Pizza before. I usually avoid the big chains but was glad I tried this place. The food tasted good to very good, the toppings were fresh. The only demerit point was for the extra 15 minute wait beyond my scheduled pickup time. read more

I ordered pizza (delivery) nearly 3 hours ago, restaurant is only 1.21 miles from my house. Spoke to manager, executive manager, and another employee. Pizza still not delivered. Many promises offered, future discounts offered. Over 3 hours later, pizza still not delivered. At what point are the promises and offers falling on deaf ears. The last employee said I will personally deliver your pizza, nothing, zip, nada, zero, empty promises. I will be contacting Marco's corporate. No excuses, no reason for failure to deliver. Order #453 submitted prior to 4:50 PM on Friday 02/22/2019 as of 8:00 PM still not delivered. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Lifetime supply of pizza? Only if you can deliver on time. UPDATE: James and Sarah (supervisor and manager) personally delivered our pizza, albeit late they were apologetic and did not charge is for our order. It seems their delivery driver disappeared with our order, not sure where the driver went but I hope he or she was just hungry, ate our pizza, and took a nap. This is more if a take out pizza place, but do have tables to eat in. The crust was much better than some the quick pizza places around. We ate in and got our 'garden' pizza in 11 minutes. It was very good. read more

Ordered and was told 15 to 20 minutes. Sat in store for an hour and asked how the order was coming along. 5 more minutes was the answer. An hour and a half later, had to check up on them again, just to see our order waiting their for 20 minutes. No manager to speak to, and nobody had any idea when the general manager would be in. I've been waiting for a place like this to open in Layton for some time now. First thing, pizza is AWESOME !!! Everyone there was super helpful and so polite. The employees really seemed to be having fun too. I dined in and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing with really cool decor. Employees kept checking in on us and getting refills for us on the sodas. It ended on a really high note when they walked me out to my car holding an umbrella over me as it was raining. Talk about awesome guest service. I will definitely be back and recommend everyone try this great place out. read more

I do like Marco's, but they really failed me today. I live down the street from the Layton, UT store. I decided to get delivery because I have toddlers who need a lot of attention and delivery is so much easier. Anyway, I went online and before placing the order I attempted to use a coupon code that I got in the mail. It gave me an error and asked me to call, which I did. The rep was nice on the phone and was helpful. She gave me another code to use and hung up (without saying goodbye but I figured they were busy that night and didn't hold it against her). I used the coupon code and while it did give me some money back, it was only a fraction of what I would have gotten with the actual code I was trying to use. I decide to overlook this. I place the order and am given an estimated time of delivery. Mind you, I do live down the street and can almost see the store from my garage. The order was nearly 20 mins later than expected and my toddlers are now screaming at me. I calm them down and we begin eating. I notice that we have received none of our extra dipping sauces or sides, which we ordered a few. Agitated at this point, I call the store again to let them know and attempt to at least get my money back. The rep this time seemed flustered and after taking my info, let me know that they would redeliver the stuff and not refund. He then hung up also without a call closure. It's been over an hour now and I've lost patience with my favorite pizza place. I'd rather order from someone else who is cheaper and further away just because I know the service and delivery will meet the transactional contract, instead of what I experienced today. If I were the franchise owner of this store, this would be pretty disappointing. Good luck Marco's, I hope others don't deal with what I did today. read more

Good pizza, but if you dine in be prepared to listen to the phone ringing incessantly, the music is so loud you can"t hold a normal conversation, and it's freezing cold. read more

We were sadly disappointed by this place. We were so excited for a new pizza place but it didn't meet the expectations. It's really expensive.. $13 for a medium pizza seems a little much. The cheese tasted rubbery and didn't have a great flavor in general. The cheese bread was the most OK thing that we ordered. We were bummed with the turn out! read more

Great Pizza! I've had delivery four times. Only once was it super late, but it was a holiday so I'll cut em some slack. But the food has always been great. Customer service has always been great. Just need to process and deliver a little faster. read more
