I will never order from Marco's again. I've ordered so many pizzas from here through the years and it seems like their quality has really gone downhill the past while. This last order was the last time. I ordered 5 pizzas and cheese bread (I frequently order for a large group of people, parties, etc). All of the pizzas that came looked like they just threw a pile of cheese down, wasn't spread out, large clumps of cheese and cheese was hanging over the crust on some parts. Other parts of the pizzas didn't have any cheese at all, just sauce. They also got the toppings wrong on one of the pizzas. Just learned recently that the original store manager, Norman, left this local joint in June of 2024 and judging by the service and quality that I received, it shows! I placed my initial order online at approximately 9:30 pm. The pizzas and salad that I ordered were to arrive shortly after 10 pm. The delivery driver did not arrive at my doorstep until close to 11 pm (no emails, phone calls, etc to notify me that he was running late). He showed up with NO salad, two lukewarm pizza's and only one side of garlic sauce that was only 1/4 full (there should have been two garlic sauces-one per each pizza & delivered.) The "Deluxe" pizza is no longer "deluxe". A few Pepperoni's, a few sausages, one slice of green bell pepper, and I believe I saw one slice of what appeared to be an onion. The second pizza was a half and half Hawaiian Chicken on one half; The Philly on the other half. Needless to say it was all crust, hardly any toppings and it fell apart from the crust as did the "Deluxe" that I ordered. In all honesty I've had better 99 cent Totinos pizzas from the grocery store. Since I paid in cash and not on a card the teenager over the phone said there was nothing he could do for me (I did get the delivery driver to take off the salad that he didn't arrive with; however he just calculated in his head what the total should be). Of course I tipped him but I will never be back there; nor will my friends, family members, or coworkers. Very unfortunate considering GrubHub at least compensates you $5 for late delivery orders as well as compromised incomplete orders and cold food. It was late at night and I was looking for a low carb option. I came across Marco's and tried the Philly cheese steak pizza bowl. I was impressed on how tasty it was. I absolutely love the food. My favorite pizza in or around Layton. Definitely worth the pricetag. Thin, delicious crust. Full of toppings and rich in flavor. Every time I've gone there I've been more than satisfied with the service and the food. The lobby is well-decorated and feels like a modern pizza joint should. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nothing better than a fresh pie of Marco's pepperoni. Update (10/13/19): picked up a chicken bacon ranch pizza today and it was fantastic. Service was as usual quick and friendly. Marcos pizza has great pizza and great online specials, but you cannot use a credit card or debit card. Therefore you have to pay full price for your pizza because you have to call the store to order and you cannot collect your pizza rewards. Why have an app or online ordering. I had this same problem about three weeks ago and they said I wasn't the only one having an issue with the app not recognizing the bank card. Would think they would fix that by now. And the store will not honor the online discounts. Nor give you reward credits. That's not nice. Great food. Not so great to the people who keep going back. read more

Pretty good pie! I had never heard of Marco's before, but after reading up on them, I discovered they're actually a pretty big chain with over 800 locations in 34 states, and they have big plans to grow right here in Utah! This is the 8th Marco's in Utah, with plans for many more to come soon. We had the Chicken Florentine pizza and Cheezy bread. It was good! Didn't shock me or anything but it's another tasty pizza option close to home. I definitely want to try more of their menu, I've heard the subs are amazing! And I definitely need to try just a simple pepperoni pizza before I really know how I feel about Marco's. But so far, I don't have anything to complain about. Good pizza! We are so sad that Marco's will no longer be our weekly ritual. It's amazing how quickly this place went down hill. We have ordered delivery from Marco's 1-2 times a week consistently since they opened. We obviously love their pizza but starting a few months ago their service and quality of the pizza went down the toilet. Here are some of the highlights: Delivery driver pulling his car up on our lawn. Delivery driver handing me the pizza sideways causing all of the toppings to slide off. Delivery driver inviting himself into our house while I signed for the pizza. 90% of the time there is at least one topping left off of the pizza. We used to love how they piled the toppings on but now we just laugh when we open the box. Tonight we had 2 slices with nothing but cheese on them. It will be interesting to see how much longer this location stays in business. We've given this place a lot of "second" chances before calling it quits and writing this review. We have called a few times to talk to Brianna the manager but she blames everything on new employees still being trained. Never again! Lol. Service is a train wreck. I kept being told it will be five minutes, then another 5 minutes, and again... I started to see a pattern but I had no idea how bad it was going to get. 60 minutes later and I'm still waiting for my order to be completed. I waited for an hour just because I must like punishing myself. Another customer told me it's usually like this on a Friday night. Great pizza! First tried Marco's Pizza when it was delivered to Hatchet Jaxe while we were axe throwing-- it was hot and fresh. Since then, we've ordered pickup numerous times over the last few months. Their pizza is always delicious! Highly recommend the Chicken Florentine; it's flavorful and "light". Their pepperoni is amazing and has old world pepperoni that gives it something special. Their original dough is thick, garlicky-buttery goodness without being greasy. We only found out about Marco's a couple of weeks ago, and since we order pizza at least once a week we were getting pretty tired of the usual fare, so we decided to give them a try. Our first order was a large Pepperoni Magnifico on the regular crust, and cheezy bread, and they were both wonderful. The sauce was the best we've had in a long time, and the crust was excellent. The next time we tried the Hawaiian (minus chicken, it's not our thing) and it was really good too, especially eaten cold for breakfast the next morning. Last time we bought the thick crust Pepperoni Magnifico with a side of cinnamon squares and were very happy with it. The crust was thick and chewy without being doughy and limp, and the cinnamon squares were a delicious treat for dessert. Marco's has quickly become our favorite delivery option in this area, and we will continue to explore the menu as it is a lot more varied than the other chains we have to choose from. read more

I'll admit that I was super disappointed with our delivery of pizza this past Saturday night. I think with pizza that is so expensive, you'd expect prompt delivery and delicious pizza. I think the pizza tasted pretty good overall, but had way too much crust on two of the pies. Also my biggest issue was that it took 95 min to receive the pizza after ordering. I called at an hour to make sure the online order went through since their tracker still said "preparing." I was told their driver had just left with everyone's pizzas, even though she never checked my specific order. I think they maybe had only one guy for the whole city? One guy was on the phone, multiple other employees wandering around looking at us, but not helping us. Would love to give zero stars. We've eaten here a few times and the food is ok. My son got a coupon for a free cinnamon dessert from school for working hard. He was SOOOO excited to go get it. We show up and and who I presume to be the owner since he was hanging a TV, flipped out saying he hasn't given any of those out in 2 years. It's not my 7 yr olds fault that there isn't an expiration and the school just barely gave it to him. The pizza is usually pretty good, though we have had a few off nights with it. But I don't think we'll ever order delivery from them again after multiple occasions of the driver not being able to give us change. I'm not talking about breaking a 100, I just mean a few dollars. Tonight we called to confirm the driver would be able to make change (our total was $28 something and we had two 20s, so again, not a huge amount!). They reassured us he'd have change but when he came to deliver, he only had $1.50 in QUARTERS. Seriously? So he called his store and instead of them making this right, they wanted him to take the pizzas back with him to get change. We told him to forget it. There was a mistake that happened with the online orders on April 1st in that you could make orders but the Marco's pizza was actually closed.
