Originally planned to order a small cheese pizza and 10 traditional buffalo wings. Worker was nice enough to tell us it would be cheaper through a deal to upgrade to a medium pizza so I appreciated that. The pizza and wings were light and did not make me feel fat! I definitely enjoyed both items. The place itself could use a little cleaning, but it isn't really built for dine in service so you can't complain too much. Don't waste you time or money! Pizza was not what I ordered, called & spoke to the Manager and had to send pictures of the pizza that was delivered and was told someone would call me back after they reviewed the pictures. After no call from them, I called back & the same person (Faith) said, hummm, your "whatever" is in the oven. She addressed herself as the Manager & after I questioned the "whatever" and her rude response, I asked her for a full refund or come get what was delivered, she hung up on me. I called back immediately & "Brad" answered, who also addressed himself as the Manager.. Now, I'm confused... He assured me my order Transaction would be cancelled & a full refund is in process. As a big fan of Marcos Pizza, especially their Pizza Bowls and their Old World Pepperoni, Marcos is one of the only restaurants I patron. It is my one splurge. I try to cook at home otherwise. I recently ordered from this Marcos, and it was a great experience. First I ordered 2 pizza bowls but their rule is you cannot have 2x or 3x of the same topping. I asked for an exception because I love pepperoni and not vegetables on pizza, and they transferred me to the manager. The manager was very friendly and granted me this exception. I know it's not the usual thing to do, but because their system wasn't fully worked out he personally agreed to add extra pepperoni. It was meat lovers with regular pepperoni and 2x old world pepperoni (you are allowed 7 toppings, most of what I don't want like veggies and mushrooms). When I arrived to pick it up, it was already completed in only 10 minutes. It was piping hot and when I looked inside, wow, that is how I love it! Basically all pepperoni. In fact the sauce and cheese were a little light, but I have some of that at home to add. I love it! Basically if I can get one giant slab of pepperoni, I'm happy. And they did it! Ordered Philly pizza tonight and received a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Called store and manager Brad was unprofessional and didn't believe me order was wrong. Driver was also present and told manager on phone order was wrong. Still made me send a Pic and never apologized. Still waiting for order to be right. Manager has no customer service skills and was inappropriate and a jerk. Won't order from here again and would leave 0 stars if I could. read more

Two times of straight hair in pizza, was told the last time it basically wasn't their fault and that it was someone else's outside of their business, when I clearly have curly, ethic hair! Tried to order again, because their pizza is actually very delicious, my number has been blocked from ordering!!!! Asked the OWNER about it, and was told nonchalantly that it definitely is blocked....asked the OWNER if they could take it off from being blocked, he responded "Nope, once you're done, you're done!" I have eaten Marco's pizza in Clayton just about every Friday night for the past 6 years that I've lived in NC. Tonight will be the last. They have gone under new management/ownership and the service has gone down and they have changed the way they make their pizza. It was terrible. Greasy and the crust was like cardboard,,, nothing like the past pizzas. A Definite change in the recipe. Please change it back..... read more

I have ordered here for several years. But the last 6 months have been awful, pizza not as ordered... very late and overcooked. Come on people it's just pizza... I was contacted by manager first time and he apologized and blamed it on no help, which everyone is dealing with by the way. So I waited awhile and thought things may improve but to my dismay it was worse. Called in order for 2 pizzas and seemed all was well, then got a call about the time it should have arrived and said delivery driver called out and had to wait for next available. So I agreed stupidly... Well after almost 2 hours the junk arrived, overcooked and cold!! So if I owned a business chain and this happened I would not charge customer or at least give them a huge discount on next order. But that didn't happen or was even offered so be warned about this place and it's lack of management... I will never order again from them and have told many others about my experience and they are done. Much better choices here in Clayton that actually appreciate your business... Well Bye!! read more
