This pizza place is a solid addition to the pizza scene of Canton. There are a few locations but this one is then one I go to because its close to my house. The customer service has always been really friendly. Yes it is a majority of high school aged kids but Ive always had my order come out right, and the girls at the front are super friendly. Camryn is a rock star at the front of the house. I love their option to have the pizza prepared well done. I like it crispy. The garlic sauce and Romano flavored crusts are also a winner. Sometimes the jalepenos are super spicy which I really enjoy. They don't skimp on the toppings, and for the price it is well worth it. They have a lot of online ordering deals so be sure to check that out. They also have a Marco's loyalty reward program that is free to join and gives deals regularly. This Marcos Pizza on Hickory Flat Hwy used to be our favorite go-to pizza place ever since we moved to Harmony on the Lakes 6+ years ago. If there was an issue with the order, they always made it right! Until today. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a salad. The entire salad had lettuce that was brown on the edges. Never have I ever seen a restaurant serve brown lettuce. The manager said the lettuce was fine, within dates, just got cut "yesterday." If a replacement were to be delivered, it would be in the same condition. The other excuse was just as outlandish. Their "new system" does NOT allow credits to be processed. With this lack of quality & poor treatment of customers, I expect their business to suffer and fail soon. read more

It's really disappointing (and honestly, unacceptable) that the delivery drivers can't be bothered to read the directions for the delivery. I specifically requested "no contact" delivery (as in, don't knock or ring the doorbell, leave the pizza on the chair on the porch. My wife is recovering from major surgery and I was trying to minimize the disruption to her rest and recovery, especially since we have dogs that will alert whenever someone comes to the door. Not only did this dude knock on the door, he stood there (in plain view of my dogs) and waited until I physically opened the door, while both me (and my wife) try to calm down the dogs so that I can open it. This could have posed a legitimate risk to my wife. More care and diligence should be taken to follow the customers instructions, it's there for a reason. Very rarely have this issue with other companies/ delivery services. A shake that Marcos cannot require the same basic accountability from their employees. read more

Bad management. Stood in line with absolutely nobody paying any attention to the five or six customers that were waiting there. At one point I believe it was the manager yelled at probably the seven or eight employees that somebody needed to get to the cash register. Pretty unprofessional. I just left there very disappointed... I come in there about 7:00 p.m. to order three large pizzas. Jacob took my order. I asked him how long it would take, he said about 30 minutes. I went to my car and waited. It was about 25 minutes in, I went back into the store to ask about my pizza the young lady said that it was still in the oven. I thought to myself okay I'll go grab something from the store next door and come back. Come back to the store, ask if my pizza's ready Jacob the store manager ask me what my ticket number was I gave it to him, he looked around, and couldn't find my order. He calls someone else to the front to discuss my order. Now as they're going back and forth I hear the guy say she's been waiting for an hour. That she is me, I stood up and I asked if they knew where my order was. Jacob the manager tells me that my order got lost. After waiting an hour, He goes into his office and makes me wait another 20 minutes to come and tell me that they could not find my order. He tells me that he can give me my money back or remake my order. He had no feeling not even to say I'm sorry for the inconvenience It was either take it or leave it type of attitude he had towards me. We ordered two pizzas and a sub they did not complete the order for one pizza that was the children's pizza, despite me ordering the pizza (at 8:55 PM). After receiveing the pizza at 9:15, the driver said he would return with a cheese pizza for us. The store called and said they could not deliver us the pizza we ordered because it was after their 9:30 delivery time, I would have to pick it up or have a credit. I told him I didn't want a credit I wanted a pizza so my kids could eat dinner. Even thought I ordered my pizza at 8:55pm! Horrible!!!! Ordered a pizza and 2 subs tonight and I picked them up and they were ready within the quoted time....I get home and open up my Fabio meatball sub that I ordered with banana peppers and when I opened it, it literally was pink dough, I mean it was a soggy mess. So, your probably wondering why I gave them 4 stars...Here is why. I called back up to Marcos to ask for the manager to complain about my sub. The manager named Sarah came to the phone was extremely polite. I told her what had happened and she apologized and it was sincere. She told me that the was not their standard and she was making me another sub on the fly. She did not ask me to come pick it up and cause me any inconvenience. She had that sub made fresh and at my door in less than 10 mins. I was amazed. Excellent customer service provided by Sarah and the driver who also apologized. Excellent pizza. Had always been most fond of Pizza Hut, Nothing else compared. Then, tried Marcos and it's not unusual to order at least once a week. The majority of time, it's an unbelievable delivery time (except holidays, after big games, Halloween, etc. but typically it's a fast time they SAY, and usually they beat that time!!). Best pizza in the North Atlanta Area! Don't let the negative comments deter you! My favorite is the Deluxe Uno, a classic supreme style pizza but the toppings are generous, fresh and delicious. The dough is top notch! The cheese is tasty and real! The sauce has the perfect blend of zing and spices. The White Cheezy is another fantastic pizza. A garlic butter sauce, bacon, onions, Roma tomatoes, and a sprinkle of feta cheese on top. WOW! No other pizza place even comes close! Try the Italiano sub, try the cheezybread, try the brownies! We come here about once per week. Picked up a pizza from them today and was a little surprised when the person at the register opened my pizza. I asked why and explained it seemed abnormal for the person at the register to handle the food. Here's where I got the lecture from the GM that it's okay because there isn't a rule that says they have to wash their hands or anything. I reiterated that it was just surprising, and not that I was quoting any laws or that she was manhandling the food or anything. The lecture continues. So I try to pay for it and can't because the apparently now we're in a testosterone war and he wants to win by giving my pizza for free. With the GM telling the the cashier to not let me pay, and me not having exact change, I'm now left with leaving with food I haven't paid for, versus overpaying on the pizza by %35. Called the next closest store who said we were in the first store's delivery area. Huh? They too were apologetic but unwilling to provide service.
