I purchased a classic VW Beetle that had been stored away for over 10 years and was not running. Marcos went over it with a fine-tooth comb and got it running like it had just come out of the factory. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Highly recommend Marcos Garage! He's worked on multiple cars for me, from classics to daily drivers, and the results are always top-tier. Finding an honest mechanic who is truly knowledgeable about older technology is tough, but Marcos is as straightforward as they come. Great service, fair pricing, and total transparency. read more

Took my VW in and $1000 later he couldn't fix the problem. Changed all kinds of stuff which I already had changed, didn't run any of it by me before doing it. Then tells me I need an engine. Long story short I picked up my car took it to another mechanic as soon as he heard my car he immediately knew it needed a gasket. Horrible communication, did unnecessary work and over charged me for a problem he couldn't fix. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable, respectful but most importantly trustworthy. Owner will go out of his way to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work done to your vehicle. I highly recommend MARCO'S GARAGE! read more

Marcos garage, my favorite mechanic shop! Marcos, and Tiny know what they are doing and are few of the honest mechanics left in the city maybe even mechanic world! Always drop off my car and within a couple hours they will get back to you and let you know what's going on and if wanna fix certain things and let's you know prices! What I love about Marcos garage is that if there's a minor problem they will let you know that you don't have to fix it right away but come back when I have time in my schedule and he will get it fixed. Always keeps me updated on everything with my car. His wife is very sweet and she keeps everything rolling in the office and gets me out in no time! If you need anything worked on or need any car help, don't hesitate to stop by! read more

Marco's Garage is the place to bring your car, truck, van or any vehicle you care about. His standards, (work ethic, quality, skillset and workmanship), are far better than the vast majority of garages you'll find. If you have a collector car, hot rod, cruiser or anything "special", he's the guy. As an FYI, my satisfaction with his work is what motivated me to write this, as this is the ONLY review I've ever posted. read more

They specialize in classics, toyotas, volkswagons, motorcycles etc. anything really. Fast, reasonable, and good, you won't be taking your car back again and again for the same thing like other places, they'll fix it right the first time. If they can't do it or you don't need it, they'll tell you, straight up. Marcos, Tiny and Eric brought my baby back to life. My classic car sat for 3 years, They went through the whole thing, fixed it all up right. For this kind of job I would have thought I'd be bringing it back again and again as things came to light after it not being driven for a while, but nope, its been running great ever since. I shed a little tear driving her again out of the shop and I think they did too. read more

Came to Marco's because I was referred by another shop down the street. He accommodates lowered vehicles! Came by on my lunch to get an alignment. He completed the job within the estimated time and he explained every little detail to me. He was very thorough and did not rush the job. He showed me some other issues that I needed to address as well. Marco even double checked my workmanship! This shop is a gem! You'll know it by the artwork all over the building. I will be coming back very soon for some more work! read more

Marco is the best person ever. He explains everything and is up front about what needs to be done and how much it's going to cost. We been taking all of our cars for a couple of years and will continue to do so. He is very accommodating and we Never had a problems. SOO if you looking for a good mechanic this is the spot. read more

Went to Marcos' based on a referral from a friend. I usually don't trust mechanic but these guys can be trusted. Other then having top notch customer service and being very personable, they know what they are doing. He laid everything out for me on what needed to get done on my car, and was even helpful on figuring out cheaper parts or things that didn't need to get done right away to save me money right now. The biggest thing for me was how knowledgeable they are with cars...not only my car but a wide rang. And they have a true passion for cars so you know what they are doing, they are going to do right. I cannot say thank you enough to these guys, my car is running so much better! read more

Marco and crew have been a great asset to my automotive business, they have a unique expertise in older cars and alignment work. My dear mechanic of 9 years is the most fabulous person on the planet. He has helped me time and time again with my cars. My coworker referred him to me years ago and I owe Raul a million bucks for sure. Marcos is the LAST honest mechanic on the planet and I can never move far away from Alhambra just to have this connection with his shop. He knows freakin' EVERYTHING about Toyotas and is meticulous with your car. He'll never scam you to make even $1 extra. You think your transmission might be toast? Nope...he'll find what actually might be causing the problem and give you a diagnosis that won't wipe out your bank account. So thankful for you, Marco. He has saved me thousands. If you're buying a used car...take it to Marcos to get his stamp of approval. Trust him. He'll check the car out from bumper to bumper and inside out to make sure you have a good purchase. Love to you and your family, Marcos! You ROCK! read more

Went to Marcos' based on a referral from another shop, and I'm very glad I've found a good shop. These guys specialize in pretty much everything except body work. I brought in my wife's IS250 for an alignment, I called in advance, Marcos said it'd take an hour and he made sure it was done within that hour (there was another car being finished up when i got there). Marcos is super friendly, and very thorough, as is his technician (didn't get his name, but nice guy as well). After the alignment I asked Marcos about carbon buildup issues the IS250's were having, and he made a phone call to an old buddy and found out everything about the problem and what needs to be done to resolve it. He took the time out of his busy day to get me that info. read more

Best place to go to if you're having car troubles! Thank you Marcos! Affordable & reliable to get to point A to B :)

AMAZING mechanic. Marcos is one of the best mechanics I've ever met. We've taken our cars there several times. He's honest, hard working, and just a great guy. Once he even researched an issue I was having with my car and it turns out there was a recall with it, so I took it to a dealership to get it fixed for free. And he didn't charge me. Because he's wonderful. He'll have our business forever. read more

I had some work re-done b/c another shop did not do it quite right. Marcos fixed the transmission/clutch issues, no problem at a fair (reasonable) price. The only knock I have about Marcos is the location and very small parking lot which brings it down 1 full star for me. read more

These guy's are awesome...and HONEST! They have worked on a number of my cars and my family members cars and have always given it to me straight. They do great work (major or minor) and do it right. We have been long time customer and have to say these guy's are the BEST! read more

Took my truck in for a rear transmission seal to get replaced after I noticed my trans moist and asked dealer to look at it during an oil change. The dealer was telling me they didn't know if they could do it in half a day. Marcos got it done in 2 hours. Minded you he also changed my differential fluid at the same time. I'm going back soon to get a couple of other things done. It is hard to find a good shop these days. Well this is one in that haystack. Give Marcos a chance to win you over. Honest, fast, and great prices. read more

Wonderful shop. I had been having issues with my vehicle, purchased some parts online and tried to do the repairs myself but failed miserably. Found Marcos' Garage on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they were close to home and opened early enough for me to stop by before work. Marcos took my vehicle without an appointment, did the required repairs using the parts I had already purchased on my own, charged me for just the labor and had my vehicle finished within a matter of hours. Totally honest and straightforward shop. Highly recommended and will definitely return the next time I have any issues. Thank you Marcos! read more

Honest and fair. They can fix any car but they also specialize in Toyota's and Lexus vehicles. This is truly a hidden gem, and honest and fair auto repair shop. Who woulda thunk it? HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The dudes are pretty cool and laid back too. http://www.marcosgarage.com/contact.html read more

Great place to send my car, Marcos had time to answer all my questions and gave me advise about parts I wanted installed on my truck. They worked on my old skool truck and also on my other new car, drove away happy. Definitely will come back. Got my new trusty mechanic and shop read more

Super friendly shop. Marco's spent more labor time then quoted but stuck to the estimate. They were more concerned with getting my car fixed right. Did a great job with my 69 Camaro and all without a scratch. My oil leaks are gone, I'm super happy and so is my garage floor. Thanks Marco's read more

Great service; fast, good pricing, honest. Will definetely return! If you're anywhere in the area, it's a good business to support.

its true, he's the last of the honest mechanics. and skilled, as well. if it needs fixing, it'll be done well, and if it doesn't--he'll be straight with you. my '97 honda ain't the prettiest thing, but she runs great thanks to marcos and tiny : ) read more
