Marco does not do gutter repairs by his own admission and its apparent he does not like to do repairs because after his fast visit for an estimate and deflection to another person for gutter repair, he went radio silent. I can't speak to his tradesman skills but I can say what kind of businessman traits he exhibits which are false advertising and a lack of care for the customer. The area has plenty of roofers and roofs, so it's not like either party will be harmed by this interaction and review, but painting a fair picture of this business is worthy of two minutes of my time. Marco is very responsive. During peak season he is very busy, so you have to keep that in mind and be patient. He came to my house and immediately identified the problem leak on my clay tile roof. He knew exactly the cause and agreed to provide an estimate. His quote was very reasonable. His professional and experienced crew were very efficient and knowledgeable in the roofing trade. Marco came out to my place in Simi, he was the only contractor out of 3 who actually went on the roof and took measurements, both other companies didnt measure, one flew a drone and took pics the other with google earth. both provided estimates quickly but waaaay more than what it was worth. Marco told me he would get me a quote as soon as he could (7 days which I understand as he is busy) honestly if you're replacing your roof you can't be in a hurry, these things take time and good contractors rarely are able to do the work the same month. his quote came in where I expected it to be, he told me about 6 weeks before he could start, he touched base the week before he came out, showed up with a full crew, they got to work, updated me with pictures everyday and a call with progress updates. Marco came to one of our homes in Simi Valley to do an repair estimate. He promised to provide an estimate within a week. Two weeks then a month went by. After repeated texts to remind him he decided to ghost us. BTW, his company only use felt paper and was dismissive and expressed disdain when asked about synthetic. Not what I considered professional attitude. Imagine what could have happened had we hired his company and ask to honor his warranty...idk maybe ghost us again, since he's infamous for doing that (read other one star reviews). read more

Marco is AWESOME! Not only is he incredibly responsive (a trait I've come to realize can be hard to find in this business,) Marco is professional, resourceful and cost effective. We made several calls to roofing companies over a few week period leading up to the most recent bouts of rain... several never returned our calls... a few roofers called days later and one other company did come out to give us an estimate - but they were extremely high and there was no real sense of urgency to get us on the schedule. With the huge storm looming - we needed about 1/3 of our roof done due to a few, severe leaks. Marco returned my call within minutes and scheduled a time to come out that afternoon for an estimate. He gave us a fair price and was ready to work the very next day. Marco and his crew completed the back half of our roof, where the leaks were, both efficiently and with great quality. They even fixed a few broken tiles in other areas of the roof we weren't having problems with....we truly couldn't have been happier with his work. Unfortunately, this last storm - surfaced new issues on a the front portion of our roof. I literally texted Marco this morning, and he was at our house within a few hours to take a look... He gave us another completely reasonable bid - and although his is booked, he is going to start the work Saturday before the next storm hits. We are beyond impressed. I have an old Spanish style house with a clay tile roof (not something I'd trust to anyone). I texted him the day before to confirm and he said he wasn't coming anymore and if I could reschedule to the following day. I said yes as long as he actually came as I had to rearrange my schedule once already. He did end up coming, although late, and he said he would send a quote on Saturday. Nothing came, I texted on Sunday asking for a quote, no response. I called on Monday and left a message and there was still no response. I called on Tuesday and he said he could have a quote by the end of the day. Nothing. Spoke to him again today (Wednesday) and he repeated the same lies. Again no quote. I would NEVER use him for any job purely based on the fact that he is unreliable and untrustworthy. I had the home we are in built 30 years ago. The roofer we hired back then made several mistakes that came to light over the last several years when we started to see dry rot at the eves. It finally became evident that the roof had to be addressed. To do it right I had to have the roof removed so the extent of the damage could be observed and then a new roof installed. I had seven roofing companies out for estimates. Marco Roofing was one of the companies I had out. Upon first meeting Marco I noted he was on time, professional and personable. He took his time measuring and inspecting my roof and talking to me. The next day he gave me his bid. I had Marco return to my house one more time and went over the fine details of the job. Marco and his crew of five did a great job for me. Marco was at the job every day working and overseeing every aspect of it. Once the old roof was off the extent of the damage was substantial. Marco and his guys did an amazing job removing the old wood and replacing it with new material. It was like a jigsaw puzzle and looked like a finished carpenter had fixed it when they were done. His crew was friendly, polite and professional. They greet you every morning and say good night when they're done. And, prior to leaving each night they cleaned everything up. I also learned that the same crew has been with Marco for over 15 years. Cool. The end product was great. I walked every inch of the job and could find an issue. Amazing.
