This Chardonnay is the best I've ever had.

Aman was amazing in making sure our every need was met without hovering. The sea bass and even the sides dishes were nothing short of perfection. Spinach can be tricky and this side was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The Panama cotta was To die for and the lemon tart was a close runner up. We will be back. And we will sit in Aman's station no matter how long we have to wait. This was one of the best meals we have had in Paris.

Yikes normally I hate giving bad reviews but this one deserves it. As we walked by the Micheline star, I was intrigued. We came back after they opened and got the first available spot or so we thought. Stuck in a corner. The people next to us were offered fans to cool themselves we were offered none. The last straw was a piece of bread that had a bite taken out. Yikes. There is no AC so might want to not come on a hot summer day. And another side note, a chip in the glass. Common now. No love for these Americans.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after walking the Seine. We were seated immediately and menus were brought out promptly. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, gnocchi, and a fettuccine style pasta. The gnocchi was amazing! We had excellent service until the end and had to wait forever to pay our check. This was a really nice restaurant!

I live in the neighborhood so I have walked by this place about a million times but I tried it for the first time last night and boy have I been missing out. I think good service and good Italian food are both hard to find in Paris. I found both right here so Marco Polo will officially be my go to place for my Italian fix. They have your classic dishes starting at 16€ and specialty pastas and meat dishes for about 23€. They have three sizes for wine, glass, 45, or 75. The service is super warm and consistent. We made a reservation for 7:15 pm but it didn't get busy until 8:30 or so. They first bring you breadsticks in a prepackaged packet which makes you think, "wtf?" But if you wait enough, they bring you fresh bread! The bread was delicious so much so that my boyfriend could not get enough of the focaccia! In addition to their menu, they have daily specials. We tried their classic veal and I tried the special pasta of the day which was farfalle in a mushroom, shrimp, and tomato sauce. Delicious. For dessert, we got their famous red fruit pana cotta which was out of this world!! Our meal for two came out to 77€ with a small bottle of wine. The ambiance is lovely and I usually hate sitting outdoors but we purposefully chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful Odeon chaos. They also have a vote service if needed. Located a few meters away from the Odeon metro, this place is a must if you're craving delicious Italian food and good service! P.S. They speak English, French, and Italian here!!

Marco Polo was the best way we could have asked to top off our visit to Paris. I tried to make the best of our time in France so I ordered the French onion soup, Escargot, Supreme Pizza, Salmon pasta, and the Marco Polo cocktail. Every food dish was delicious and presented very nicely. It was also served with a generous amount of bread, which was refilled promptly when our server came by. Service was exceptional and I don't speak any French. I highly recommend this restaurant!

So we wandered across the street and found this nice little spot with outside seating and a variety of appealing menu items. We were seated outside quickly and after a little time our waitress came to take our order. As mentioned in my other reviews we have small appetites, so we decided to split the Pizza Salsiccia based on its other reviews. When reading reviews, keep in mind that there are two locations for this restaurant. As I perused the reviews, it appeared that the other location, has more of the five star reviews. Despite that we decided to give it a try. The pizza was flavorful. I am a bit of a pizza aficionado, so my standards are very high. I would give the pizza a 3 star rating because it was very wet in the middle. The type where the topping pull off when pull a slice out. The coffee we had after was very good. Overall I think I can recommend this place with the caveat that I do not recommend the pizza, unless you like that type of dough.

On night one was started with glasses Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne which we really enjoyed and on our second night we had to have the bottle. We split the Diavola Pizza and the Calzone. The Calzone was great and completely stuffed. I will say if I had to pick I preferred the Diavola Pizza but that's because Enza is making fresh authentic Neapolitan Pizzas. For Round 2 we got the Salsiccia Pizza as well as the Truffle Pizza. The Salsiccia was my favorite of all the pizzas we had here. The Truffle Pizza was also very good and loaded with truffles as well so it is very rich so just a heads up. They on make their own Spicy Olive Oil which is great for dipping your fluffy crust into. We of course had to get dessert as well. I had the Pistachio Cheesecake which was get and had amazing Pistachio flavor. We also got the Croque Glace which is a true Ice Cream Sandwich. It was Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate on a Brioche Bun. It was actually so good and much better then what they are serving at Epcot. The staff was so friendly and helpful each time we came in and seemed happy to see us. For sure a place to check out if you are starting to get a little sick of French Cuisine.

Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. The story goes that I and the rest of my Nintendo of America colleagues had just finished up a very exciting business conference with our friends over at Nintendo of Europe. After wrap up, we decided to take a small tour around the lovely city of Paris. I, of course, took note of all of the similarities between the real Paris and the version seen in the Mario Kart Tour mobile game. I have to say, Nintendo hits it out of the park once again. We then decided to stop inside the Gemini, since that seemed to be the only restaurant name that I could pronounce. I decided to order the Truffle Pizza, and since I am from New York, I love a good pizza. The first bite and it was already heaven on earth! Truly authentic French food being served at this wonderful establishment. I am also very glad that the waiters entertained my shenanigans when asking them what they thought about Mother 3. I had a good laugh after they didn't even know what I was talking about. Excellent service, great food, and an overall fantstic time for any Nintendo fan wanting to stop in and admire the beautiful jungles of France. Also, don't forget to check out Pikmin 4, which lands in stores July 21st. Thank you for reading this highly anticipated Reggie Review, and I will see you all another time, Switch fans!

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.
