One of the salesman saw it, came up and said I shouldn't have been in the street and should have been on the sidewalk. This despite NYS DMV guidance saying, "You can operate these devices on highways with a posted speed limit of 30 MPH or less. You cannot operate these devices on a sidewalk except as authorized by local law or ordinance." But what can one expect from a car salesman except they think cars reign supreme? Dealerships don't generally hire rocket scientists. No child ever says, "When I grow up, I want to be a car salesman."

Did some online research and found Gabe Auto. Had the car towed to them, I couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. I felt at ease after my conversation with Gabe. For further reassurance I had my Volvo mechanic (I've known him for over 25 years) speak with Gabe after speaking with him he confidently assured me that Gabe knows his stuff. Cost $2600. One week later I went to pick up my car, met Gabe for the first time. What an upstanding and gracious person. .
