I used to really enjoy the vibe here, but the music being played now isn't as relaxing as it once was. For me, getting my nails done is also a chance to unwind, so the overall environment matters. I've had positive experiences here, which is why I'm giving three stars rather than writing off the salon altogether. I love this nail salon!!! I have heard Japanese people are so good at nails. So I have done researches to find a good one in Torrance. I had to gp through the pictures on Facebook, yelp, and instagram to find a good one. Gel nail was what I wanted and it's pretty expensive so I did not want to waste my time and money so did plenty of research and I found MARCELINA! I called for an appointment and luckily I could get earlier time that I wanted. Make sure u make appt early because they are always booked. One time I had to wait for a whole week to get an appointment. But whenever a customer cancels they call you and let you know which earlier days and time is available. Both Mie and Chicory are the sweetest! They are so pretty like Asian doll and talk so soft and nice that you feel so comfortable during nails done. And if I don't know what to do with colors and design they recommend you to fit your style or they design for you. They use good quality gel polish that lasts good one month. I love coming here! One of my favorite place to relieve stress :) thank you marcelina for being here÷ read more

Best japanese nail salon so far! I have been to other nail salons around Torrance, but none of them satisfied me. I did my gel nail with design with Mie, and my sister did with Chihiro. We liked both of them. Every single person I met asked about our nail. They are doing a great job, plus they are so cute and nice! I strongly recommend this place. read more

If you're looking for a nail artist who truly cares about both the beauty and health of your nails,…read morelook no further than Momoka at Momo Nails. She is hands down the best nail artist I've ever been to, and I'll never go back to a regular salon again. From the moment you step into her studio, you can tell she has put so much thought into making it a clean, comfortable, and private space. It's a completely different experience from crowded salons--no rush, no distractions, just one-on-one attention to detail. Every design she creates is intentional and precise, and she takes the time to make sure it's exactly what you want. But what really sets Momoka apart is how much she genuinely cares about nail health. I used to get my nails done every 3-4 weeks at my old salon and noticed they were getting brittle, but I never thought much of it. Momoka was the first person to tell me that I was coming in too soon and that my nails needed more time to recover. My "Christmas Colors" nails are Camo colored and brown. Now, I understand that *some* of that problem comes from the process. However, after he started the first few nails and they were clearly NOT red, but brown, I stopped him & asked him to fix that. Unfortunately, his best efforts to change color were half hearted. Also, I left the salon with more color and gel on my skin than on my nails. When I pointed this out too, he used cuticle cutters on my skin and didn't even get all of it. See the pics.
