Just Chillin for a month.

The place is nice albeit some sections are a bit run down. The restaurant is leased but AOk. The office has a small marine store etc. good gas and diesel prices for the keys.

We drove our Class C pulling our boat. When we arrived, without even asking, the staff told us to unhook the boat and they would put it in the water for us while we set up at our site. That was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Our site was right on the water near a roped off swimming area. We ran into a little rv trouble which cut our trip short. (Converter went out = no a/c). We had to pack up a day early and head home. The staff was super understanding and refunded us our last night's fee. We did not expect that either but again very appreciative! The staff backed our trailer in the water and helped load the boat with ease. They parked it in an area easy to hook up to with the rv for our departure. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Very friendly mom and pop campground.

She was loud rude and refused to let me tell her what I was told when I made my reservation. Additionally, when I told her you won't let me tell you what I was told she said your reservation is canceled and hung up on me. I immediately received an email saying my reservation was cancelled. I think she did it purposely because my rate was $80.00 per day as I booked months in advance and they now charge $138.00 per night. I have stayed at a lot of rv parks and this was the worst experience I ever had with a staff member! I would avoid this RV park for sure! Beware of Jolly Roger's!

Very nice, though the tile leaves some dark dust on feet. We tried cleaning the floor, but still there. Not sure the cause. The place is very nice though. Could use more windows for natural light but very nice comfortable and clean. Guy that checked us in was great. Haven't met many other workers. The park when I was a kid was packed, so many kids to play with, there was gas and pretty bushes and trees all over, and the pub was rocking with good food and atmosphere. I had my 1st kiss at this park when I was a teenager. So many memories here that nostalgia maybe gets in the way of what it is today. It's maybe 25% full currently, restaurant closed, more signs saying "no" to doing this or that than there are palm trees. It feels "sterile" now is my best description. No rental boats, no band in the pub, no pub, very few kids running around to play with my kids. It's really a shame. I hope it improves. As is, it isn't what I promised my family it once was.

It's an old piece of property however the pool and jacuzzi were nice. They keep it very clean but the RV sites are on gravel roads and no shade. I gave it 2 stars one for the staff and one for the pool. There's no beach access unless you want to walk through mud. We left a day early and they didn't refund us for that day. We are part of Thousands Trails and they hype this property up so they can charge you more so needless to say we will not renew our Thousand Trails membership

We have a 2 week stay here scheduled for August when lobster season opens. I recently found out through a voicemail that the marina is closed for upgrades. I've been trying to call to find out if they will have boat parking. I've called the marina once and the front office twice and left voicemail messages. I've not received a call back. my other issue is that no-one told me the marina would be under construction before I paid over 4,000 dollars for my spot.

We were escorted to our site, and literally were parked steps from the water. We enjoyed hanging out in the water immediately, and also loved all the wildlife present everywhere on the campground, including an iguana who liked to bask in the tree right next to our RV, numerous pelicans and herons (or egrets? I never know the difference), schools of thousands of little fish, and more. I loved swimming in the area off the swimming dock. The water was cool and refreshing in the heat. Every day, I marveled at the beauty of this place. The clouds and sky looked like cotton candy at dusk. Sunsets were magical. Bahia Honda State Park is only 5 minutes away. I almost didn't go, because this campground was so nice, but fortunately, we went, and of course, that was breathtaking as well. We have starlink so I didn't have internet issues, and we didn't use the marina services, so can't speak to that.

We've been coming to the Keys over the Thanksgiving Holiday for a number of years and until now have stayed a little north of Grassy Key or in Key West but decided to stay and explore the middle keys this year so we could enjoy more of the Florida Keys with less daily travel. We arrived prior to the requested time and check in was so easy, the staff escorted us to our site and ensured everything was perfect before leaving us to finishing setting up camp. The park was only about half filled upon our arrival and as campers left and others arrived it never got crowded and remained about half filled throughout out stay - this made for a very peaceful stay and very private we stayed at site 10 and had no neighbors until the afternoon before we left. The grounds here are very well maintained, beautifully landscaped with very good utilities, we had no issues - the view of the Gulf through the front window of our RV was stunning, as were the views from the park like setting along the sea wall. If your traveling here from the north its the first driveway on the right prior to their sign making it an easy entrance while they try and maintain a one way loop in and out. We were fortunate to attend the potluck Thanksgiving dinner hosted in the clubhouse, they provided fried and roasted turkeys and some side dishes and everyone brought a dish as well it was a wonderful and thoughtful gathering I highly recommend participating if your visiting during the holidays. This is definitely an experience we hope to repeat in the coming years, this is such a beautiful RV Park with a well thought out layout that doesn't put everyone on top of each other making for a wonderful experience for everyone...
