This year, I went to Velocity out of convenience to pick up a shifter cable...$10!. Meanwhile MEC sells them for $4. I bought it out of convenience but didn't feel good about it. Location is good for me but it will be a last resort place for if at all.

Not only did they have the exact brand in large frame size that we wanted on sale (and for less than the first shop), but Jason also managed to get them from the warehouse to the Langley store fully assembled in less than 3 days! We picked up our new e-bikes today, and the service just kept getting better. Danie assisted us with accessories, generously offered a discount, and helped us with a new bike rack we purchased. He told me it didn't matter if I was exempt BC had new rules. I was shocked. And felt my trauma resurface. I left the store as I knew exactly what I wanted and had called in advance. My purchase was $1600. I went to my car and looked up the government of BC mask mandates. I was right to not have a mask due to my exemption and the manager lied. He discriminated against me. I wrote the owner to let him know how his manager treated me I order to help others. I don't want anyone feeling less than a person If you have a medical issue. The owner didn't even write me back. This store doesn't care about the health and well being of people. They just want money.
