Both kids have eczema and based on review, seemed like a promising place to go for some help. Well, it wasn't helpful and instead the cream purchased was agitating the eczema on one child and it had no effect on the other child (which only leads to some flare up since we withheld other ointment). We won't be returning. It was expensive and it was ineffective. I'll go back to my acupuncturist and herbalist in Richmond SF that is way way way better even if it means making the drive because the acupuncture was effective that you can see eczema flare reduces within 24 hours and ointment purchases was also effective that it would help clear eczema with noticeable impact because the redness is gone within a few days. read more

An Oasis in Berkeley! Shoshana was recommended to me by my son's pediatrician to complement his current ADHD treatment/sensory processing disorder. She is wonderful with children (even very active boys), and my son really likes to attend sessions with Shoshana even if he isn't in the mood for "tappers." Due to his occasional refusals for treatment during appointments, we started including me (who had never tried acupuncture before) into the sessions with my son. I've taken OTC meds for cold symptoms in the past, but this time I went with my body's intuition. After a beautifully comforting massage from Shoshana--she found the knots and achy spots like she was reading braille and using x-ray vision--I went home and took the herbs she prescribed. I am 38 weeks pregnant with twins and just received the best massage ever from Shoshana Uribe. Many women pregnant with twins warned me that a prenatal massage is not worth it because it is too soft and it doesn't live up to a real, deep-tissue massage. Shoshana proved them all wrong. The massage I received today was fantastic and incredible - it was intense and relaxing at the same time, it was comprehensive and rejuvenating, and I felt its effect all day. She is also very sensitive to one's needs of wanting to engage or wanting to be quiet. I love when she shares her wisdom and I love when she just lets me relax and breath with the massage. She also did some acupuncture on me to facilitate labor and I totally felt contractions during the acupuncture.
