For reference, there were more employees there than customers. Once I was able to get an employee to help, it didn't feel like he wanted to make a sale. I basically had to sell myself on the bag. The neutral - You have to ring a bell to be let in. I guess it makes sense, since the products are generally open to customers. This does prevent theft. But it still made me feel a little off... but overall I get it. The good - There was a huge selection and they had a range of pieces from all luxury designers. The piece I selected I have seen on other resale markets and I have determined I got a great deal. My bag has been available elsewhere for $200-300 more than what I paid for it. The staff was super helpful. It does get busy so make an appointment or you may be stuck waiting over an hour to get some help. I did NOT make an appointment (rookie move) and did end up having to come back about an hour later. All good though. When I did return, I was promptly seen and had a great experience. I liked it so much so that I ended up just asking for store credit and bought another bag! Oh well. So much for going here to make $ by selling a bag. I did do that but then I spent like 5x that trade in price on a new item. I guess I did kind of get paid bc I got such a great deal on the new bag? YES, that's the reality I choose to believe :).

All of the "normal" items on wall displays, shelves, and countertops. These are the items they keep in stock for the most part. This is on the first floor that everyone has access to. Joseph came to us as we were looking around and asking about getting established for the more hard to get items. This is when the experience got really cool, as he took us upstairs. It felt like it was a special place that many others may not know about or get to see. Lot's of nice high end items and bags. Tho the bags that require waiting lists, they only have "samples" hiding in the back. Joseph got out the Kelly and the Birkin. Of all of the bags that my wife was looking at today at this Beverly Hills in Dallas, I liked these the most, as the bags were elegant but didn't have any crazy emblems or some outstanding signature item that screams "look at me" when you walk around with it. It's a bag for a personal decision, the personal knowledge of knowing you have the best without showcasing or trying to be a stand out. Joseph was so helpful, so friendly, and very attentive to my wife and what she was eyeballing. He offered to show her anything she took an interest in, it didn't matter what it was. She now has his number to message and send pics of any items she finds so that he can try and locate it. He was with her from the time we walked in to the time we left. We didn't buy anything this day, tho he was very helpful in explaining that if she sees a bag, they a put her name on it when it shows up. Those that don't know, these are hand made and high end. They are expensive, but they can be considered an investment same as any piece of jewelry. If you go, ask for Joseph, he was the best and so friendly and kind.

I ended up selling 1 but the process was not comfortable, and the employees (especially the blonde manager who is mentioned a lot here) were so condescending in their responses as if I was supposed to know their policies by heart before selling.... Next comes to buying, I have purchased two bags and sunglasses here, but even that process was like pulling teeth. Everyone is always frowning at you. And I had asked an employee to see a few bags and put one on hold for me until my item was authenticated so I could use credit towards it and she never did... she walked away from me as quickly as humanly possible. I had asked to see a bag and said "oh it's so cute but there's a small stain" to which she replies with an attitude "yes, that's obviously why it's on sale." ???? No thank you! This treatment is not worth the "discounted" rates. Most of the bags are barely below retail. I won't be returning even though they do have great inventory. Stopped by Silk Threads in a crunch after an event was added to my brothers' wedding weekend. I LOVED how the sales associate did a quick intake process asking what fabrics/styles I enjoy and then took my measurements before making recommendations. I chose (2) outfits but, ended up only selecting one as the alteration process would've taken longer than I needed. I pointed out a few stains on the garment and the staff was very helpful in attempting to clean them before steaming and placing it in my car. When I arrived at the venue however I noticed that the outfit had many more stains, including the skirt -- everything from pen markings (standard alterations process) to dirt, debris, and food could be found on the outfit. I could not return the outfit since I was in a different city so, was very disappointed given the price (450$+). The lady helping me get dressed onsite said my dress had likely already been worn either in a show and/or purchased by someone else and resold. Pretty upsetting. All in all, the selection is vast but the prices start around 350$ so I would be optimistic yet cautious in purchasing from here.

The store is a bit of a mess with clothing…read morethrown over the wracks and some on the floor, but during the holiday season shopping with the crazed shoppers it happens. However, it was a bit disappointing that this location does not carry bras or women's panties as of yet, but were told they soon would be.
