Perhaps one family in the store already, and then another family that walked in same time as me. (I was the one that held the door open, so literally the same time.) She acknowledged them, immediately helped them, and bounced to the other previous family. At no point did she say hi or hello, or acknowledge my presence, as you're supposed to do in retail. Eventually, I said excuse me, as we were making eye contact. She literally walked passed me, and continued to the counter where she was just standing, not helping anyone. So I said "did you not hear me say excuse me?" She replied: "why, did I punch you?" With the utmost sass. I said, "no, but I've been here, and you see me looking and you just ignored me." She said "I am helping all everyone." Okay, so you're helping everyone and you just felt the need to exclude me right? And when I said excuse me -- it wasn't in the middle of her helping. It was as she was walking towards the counter. I even gave her a brief second. I would've stayed longer after and did my own searching without her help, but God forbid I put money in Tahzeens Boutique. I went across the street to find a dress, and I didn't even have to look! It was on display, and was my exact size. It was a hit at all the eid functions, and I certainly had a more accommodating experience. Idc who you believe in, God, Jah, or the Universe. Your creator will look out for you when you are a genuine person and move with love and have pure intentions. My intentions were to buy a dress at tahzeens, but I went elsewhere and left in 5 minutes. If you are not desi and don't fit her idea of someone who is in need of traditional clothing, you will be blatantly ignored. Such a shame to treat your own kind with such disrespect. Contrarily, if you love a mean, unpersonable, socially inept, grouchy woman with a lack of kindness and inability to acknowledge all her shoppers, this would be the place for you, I give it my highest recommendation :)

The first words should be an apology, not shifting blame to a customer, especially one who has been loyal and dropped tens of thousands in over 20 years shopping with you. I LOVED how the sales associate did a quick intake process asking what fabrics/styles I enjoy and then took my measurements before making recommendations. I chose (2) outfits but, ended up only selecting one as the alteration process would've taken longer than I needed. I pointed out a few stains on the garment and the staff was very helpful in attempting to clean them before steaming and placing it in my car. When I arrived at the venue however I noticed that the outfit had many more stains, including the skirt -- everything from pen markings (standard alterations process) to dirt, debris, and food could be found on the outfit. I could not return the outfit since I was in a different city so, was very disappointed given the price (450$+). The lady helping me get dressed onsite said my dress had likely already been worn either in a show and/or purchased by someone else and resold. Pretty upsetting. All in all, the selection is vast but the prices start around 350$ so I would be optimistic yet cautious in purchasing from here.

If you are in search of Arab/Middle Eastern perfumes, give this place a try before ordering online. You'll be able to see what works and doesn't work for you, while supporting a locally owned business.

I felt the jacket and pants were slightly on the worn side- not bad, but not as crisp and sharp as I expected. I could see this was a rental by the way the sleeves and pant legs are altered. I haven't rented a tux in a long time, as I have had my own for many years, but sadly, I "outgrew" my most recent. So that is to say I've been spoiled by custom-fit tuxes since after I married 40+ years ago, until this one. Maybe I'm being too harsh? I will still recommend them, just be sure you go a day before you need the tux to pick it up in case it needs tweaking.
