Stopped by Silk Threads in a crunch after an event was added to my brothers' wedding weekend. The…read morestaff at Silk Threads was quick and attentive, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. I LOVED how the sales associate did a quick intake process asking what fabrics/styles I enjoy and then took my measurements before making recommendations. I chose (2) outfits but, ended up only selecting one as the alteration process would've taken longer than I needed. I pointed out a few stains on the garment and the staff was very helpful in attempting to clean them before steaming and placing it in my car. When I arrived at the venue however I noticed that the outfit had many more stains, including the skirt -- everything from pen markings (standard alterations process) to dirt, debris, and food could be found on the outfit. I could not return the outfit since I was in a different city so, was very disappointed given the price (450$+). The lady helping me get dressed onsite said my dress had likely already been worn either in a show and/or purchased by someone else and resold. Pretty upsetting. All in all, the selection is vast but the prices start around 350$ so I would be optimistic yet cautious in purchasing from here.

Well - being from English/Irish decent - no idea what that means and definitely did not want to offend. A friend found this store, so the three of us went and could not have been in better hands. Rakesh & Nita were so KIND, honest and could not have taken better care of us. They pulled so many options for us from both of their stores, translated what we needed for each event and made sure we didn't break the bank because some of their items are GORGEOUS but out of our budget. We all left extremely happy, prepared, confident and ready to celebrate our dear friend's wedding. Thank you Rakesh and Nita for helping 3 very lost women with your gorgeous culture and traditions. We will definitely come back to show pictures!

My wife was looking for purses/bags to add to her collection. They had plenty, tho in my view they looked mostly the same, just a few different types of materials with some accessories added. For me, at that cost, they should be outstanding and extremely different than anything else on the market. Tho, that's not the stores issue, that's an issue with designers back in their home country. We did have someone help us after a few minutes when they notice my wife behind a counter looking at a small bag. She dawned the gloves and got it unlocked and off the shelf. Very nice showcasing. Wife requested a different color, tho they didn't have it in stock. The experience wan't bad. It didn't feel like we were being snubbed or put off because we didn't buy that day, granted they didn't have exactly what she wanted anyway.

I am pleased to say I had an amazing experience! Kristyn Miller was the best SA I could ask for. She took her time explaining the different pieces, made sure to show me what she thought I'd like, and let me take my absolute precious time trying on any and everything that caught my eye, and not once did I ever feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything. It was a little over an hour before I had decided on my top picks, and even then, at the end, when she went to wrap my items, I spoke with Vanessa, who also showed me excellent service in the interim. I will say that I did call before I went in without an appointment and could never get anyone to answer, so that was a little frustrating, but overall, once I was there, I had no complaints. It's a beautiful store, and I'm glad a few SAs are left who treat you respectfully and don't judge a book by its cover. Thank you, Kristyn and Vanessa!
