I called on a Saturday and actually reached Touissant directly, who was hosting his daughter's birthday party. He really didn't have to answer, but he still did, listened to the issue, talked through what he thought might be going on, and promised to follow up on Monday. Which he totally did, and then came out the very next day. Once he was here, he diagnosed the problem right away, showed up with the part he suspected we would need, and fixed everything while explaining what he was doing. His rates were clear and reasonable, and the tub has been perfect ever since. Touissant knows his stuff, he is dependable and incredibly responsive, and he is just a genuinely hard-working, good person who cares about his customers. I joked with him that I hope I don't have to see him again, but if anything ever goes wrong with our hot tub, he is the only person I will call. Highly recommended!

They serviced my pool on two weeks and they billed me for a month of service. The pool cleaning lady came out and did not even have experience with the equipment, cleaning person told me that my salt balance is off and asked her to are you going to adjust the the machine and she said that she does not know how to work it. I texted Seth and he said he does not all employees know how to adjust it and they all do a different job and not all have experience that is all in text. Then how are they going to keep my salt water adjusted properly. They do not send someone else to do it. Also there communication is terrible I texted Seth on few issues like some repair and replace a pump. Did not answer me till a few days after and said that he is sorry and but he is to busy and was not able to get to me. The future with this company would have been a disaster no experience for the employee with machines and equipment and bad communications. Also after two weeks not happy with service Seth says he is sticking me with the one year contract and trying to force me with 1800.00 dollars. Do not sign contract because they can give you terrible service and try to stick you with contract. He threatened me with the lawyer of suing me instead of trying to make matters better. I called Frank to let him know his technician lied about the services performed. He responded saying he was aware and the technician didn't service the pool because he thought the dog was in the yard and planned on returning the following day. If that were true why send me an email stating all the services he performed, including adding chemicals, along with false pool readings instead of sending an email saying he would return the next day because he was unable to service the pool. Better yet knock on the door and save a trip. My dog wasn't even in the yard. I cancelled the service since Frank just made excuses for his employee. Frank did apologize and came himself to service my pool the following day instead of his employee. I wasn't going to write a review until I received yet another bill for service 3 months after cancelling. Sent an email telling them to stop since they are not servicing my pool. Didn't work. Another reason for cancellation is my pool walls were turning greener week after week. I had to point this out when it should have been noticed by the technician servicing my pool weekly and taken care of. I also had black algae forming along the walls and steps. I only know of this one time that service was not performed and lied about doing it. The condition of the pool makes me wonder if this was not the first time. My pool is salt water--this is the first pool I have ever owned--and I just assumed that because both companies were aware of this they would service the pool appropriately. Nope. Each just continued dumping chlorine into the pool which I later learned from a friend is absolutely NOT how a salt water pool is serviced. Johnson had even been the pool service company for the previous owners and had just taken the lazy way out (to avoid having to take out the salt water pool components and actually clean them) which left the 2 cleaning cells frozen and unable to work in the pool! Criminals!! When Larry got on the job, it took just about a week or two for him to repair what those two useless & LAZY other pool companies had destroyed and suddenly the salt water system was working perfectly. Our previous pool cleaning service, Marin Pool Service, used to be good when they had the lady clean our pool. But then they put her on a different route about three months ago and ever since our pool has been disgusting, just look at the picture. After multiple phone calls to Marin Pool and speaking with the pool technician to correct the situation, all we heard were excuses, and our pool was still green and unusable. We would take a picture before they cleaned and after they cleaned and it basically looked the same....furry green! Mike showed up on Thursday with his brother Wayne and they had quite the job ahead of them as the pool was gross! I thought for sure it would take a couple of visits to get it back to normal. By the next day the pool was Caribbean blue, just as they advertise. He even called to make sure that we were happy with the service. Every appointment they set, the texted/called in advance to confirm they were arriving within 30 minutes. The owner himself visited the property, took measurements and then immediately wrote up a quote. While I felt it was a little expensive, now in hindsight, when I saw the equipment and the process that Tile Savers goes through to remove the deposits on the pool tile, I would say that this was very much worth it. Pretty impressive operation, I must say. The tech (Andrew) was on time, worked efficiently, constantly cleaned up after himself throughout the day, and was just a real pro. Very proud of his work and it showed. I would highly recommend this company.

The short version of the story is that the work was never completed, numerous promises were made - none of them kept - and I had to hire a different contractor to complete the job before escrow closed on the sale of this house. Early excuses were things like - I can't figure out how to arrange stones (I ended up doing this), I'm short some tiles, wife went into labor (?), tiles went to the wrong location, and "oh, I meant next Monday". By now a month has elapsed. And here it shifts to a "family issue." Generally I would be very sympathetic to that reason - but after so many other excuses I had to be a bit skeptical. These family issues continued for another month. During this time promises to have a partner call, send a different contractor out, or drop off tiles were made on the rare occasions my emails were answered at all. I do hold out a small allowance that maybe there was a family issue - and if that was the case perhaps just following through on any one of the promises made would have led to a better outcome. At almost any point in the process if he had fulfilled any one of his numerous commitments, I could cut him some slack and move on, but dragging this out for over a month put me in a pinch as this house was being sold. But as it was it was a very unprofessional way to run a business.
