We went…read morein looking of a specific cat toy that we'd seen at another far north Dallas location, not wanting to make a 3 hour round trip we opted to look locally. The cat selection at this Hollywood feed is EXTREMELY limited. It's turning into a dog store with a small penance of cat items. Dog toys, dog treats, and dog food abound on multiple shelves throughout the entire store, tho the cat items are limited to an end cap. Very disappointing. The cat area that they had was also very empty, with half the area empty and missing items. That being said, the staff was super friendly and helpful, as helpful as they can be finding an item that doesn't exist in the store. They were happy to oblige my wife's many questions, of course the staff was elated to see a rare Scottish Kilt/Persian kitten in the store. They took pictures and such, it was actually a pleasant interaction.

Both my babies (4yrs old) felt like puppies after their baths and never smelt so good. One of the my goldens has long hair so I went ahead and got him cut! They did such an amazing job, he looks like a show dog! I would have his feathering a little but longer but that's on me... I didn't give details (I'm picky about his feathering, again I didn't give details and in a week it will be grown out). He has the perfect golden retriever cut! Boarding / Training- Again AMAZING! I'll start off with training...one of our golden retrievers was out of control. He pulls so hard he basically will rip your arm out of the socket! We have tried EVERYTHING! Kendra said she'll be able to have him walking on a leash and in public by the time I returned 4 days, I believed her but of course had my doubt. When we picked them up she showed me the proper way to correct him, etc. When she was showing me how to correct the behavior or pulling, etc. He literally looked as if he was in the ring being showed. It was unreal. I walked him this morning and did the tools she gave me and I honestly didn't have to hold the leash, it was resting my my hand! I highly recommend Kendra for all of your training needs! Also they do boarding, at their house. It is set up for runs etc. We prefer family flies in but that can't always happen, so we had boarded both our dogs a good handful of times. MY Babies have NEVER came back so happy and relaxed. Kendra did a wonderful job all around! I couldn't be more impressed. (We've boarded at petsmart, kountry klub acres, they've always come back depressed no one gave them any attention, etc.) I highly suggest boarding, training, grooming with Kendra at Pup It Up! Also it smells clean when you walk in!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!

They don't offer near as many services (hair dye etc.) They text instead of calling for everything. They lied and said it was the same groomer but it was not. The new groomer is not as good as the one before. Also very petty and penny pinching. My dog had to go to the emergency room and missed her grooming appointment and they charged a $20 no show fee. Which it's not the point of the $20 (I have it it's not an issue) it's the point that I've patronized the business for years and given no consideration for my dog being too sick to come for grooming.

I have been to this location twice for my furry friend to get groomed, and it just doesn't get any better than this! I try and get her groomed quarterly along with her teeth brushed, nails trimmed, and filed. I set up my appointment by the internet, where I logged onto the user-friendly website and filled out the questionnaire, and selected what I would like to be done on a la carte style menu. I went ahead and chose a full bath and haircut with the FURminator that takes away the loose hair strainds on dogs that shed and is very common in Pembroke Welsh Corgis. If you are a first-time guest bringing in your beloved pet, you have the option of uploading their rabbies vaccine online or simply bringing it in when you get service because this is a requirement for service. Along the front of Petsmart, there is ample parking provided due to being in a large shopping center. They even have a grass filled area with doggy bags provided in the front to let your friend go to the restroom before or after service. As I walked her in and headed back to where the grooming salon was, I was greeted promptly and was told they would give me a call in about 3 hours when she is done. In roughly 3 hours, the service was complete, and I headed back to pick her up, and she was looking magnificent! She smelt good, and her fur was nicely trimmed as well as her nails. They always do such a wonderful job getting her to look and smell her best even though she might not always like it, but it's what is best for her. Overall, Petsmart does such a wonderful job on grooming services, and I would have it no other way. That's why I take her to get groomed every 3 months to keep her beauty and hygiene at her best. The staff is very professional and they definitely have a passion for animals and it shows! The prices are fair, and the quality is impeccable! Currently right now they are running a new customer promotion that scores great discounts along with treats and snacks.

You name it, we've been. AND they buy your frags for above and beyond what other stores offer, if they even offer at all. I have also been to several aquarium stores around the country, as I travel for a living. They all pale in comparison to Ocean Avenue's coral selection. Everyone is very nice, and you don't wait long for service. Plus they make you feel like your getting a deal by lowering the price of a particular coral you have been eyeballing. I bought an elegance, among several other things. I had doubts about purchasing it because they are difficult to keep if you get the wrong type. I purchased it on advice of the owner because this particular specimen fit my criteria perfectly. It's been a month and a half, and the little bugger is going strong! I would recommend this place to everyone! I heard the floor manager of another popular aquarium store that my husband I and used to frequent secretly buys all his corals from Oceans! That says something... The only thing I want to see this store carry is more fish. More Leopard wrasse and other harder to find fish. Being a dragon mama, I was a bit shocked to see the young hatchling dragons, never seen them so young in a store. Wanted to take them both home! However we have 3 currently and just got a new baby we rescued from a bad PetSmart situation Store is clean and well organized. We also got our crested gecko here. Wasn't a planned purchase but I'd been researching them and prepping a starter terrarium for a future baby gecko. Then I saw her and "Megan" was 75% off. Was so worried someone would buy her and not care for her properly. I was hesitant to ask about her seeing another review about someone being denied a Crested gecko purchase by the manager I think. This person supposedly had a nice set up and all supplies and was denied(a bday gift post). Due to me literally just setting up a terrarium I was nervous to ask about her. I had a photo on my phone I sent a friend showing her what I was doing. It literally only had a tiny piece of hide and some moss in it. Anyway, I approached 3 months employees and asked about her age to start testing waters. I was told she was a year or less basically. Sounded like they she had been with them all that time. I was even more nervous at that point. We decided we wanted her, the employee(sorry I didn't catch your name) asked something about if I was prepared. I showed her picture and told her I was just setting up for a future purchase and been doing a ton of research. She said she would hold her if I wanted to get a more solid set up. I checked their reptile supplies, and asked if I bought a large piece of wood hide, hanging vines and food.. if that would be okay with my current terrarium that's just a starter and obvious dubia supply with more on the way? She said that would be good(So happy the review I mentioned wasn't my experience). It took them quite a while to get her into container to leave..however I didn't mind as they were trying hard not to stress her out and that's so important with Cresties. I didn't want her dropping tail or being too upset. Anyway, you guys at PSP will be happy to know "Megan" who is now "Nyx" has a massive 24x18x36 vertical terrarium, highest rated brand I could get my hands on. It's also bioactive with a variety of isopods, tons of vines, clutter and hiding, organic mixed substrate, moisture balls, mesh layer, Appropriate lighting for her and plants(only gecko safe). She has "fired down" and is eating CGD and offered calcium dusted dubias for hunting. I haven't handled her outside of moving her out of container. I speak to her softly and her lights are on appropriate schedule, as well as misting(appropriate water with reptile water conditioner) and drying out schedule daily. I'm waiting 2 weeks before handling, and moving her to upgraded terrarium(also giving isopods a chance to thrive before). I'm rambling but she's safe and will be spoiled rotten(appropriately). Thank you for trusting us to adopt her. I understand being cautious and it's so appreciated! Too many people buy pets they don't know enough about or can care for appropriately. PLEASE DO RESEARCH, especially with reptiles! If someone can contact me about any other info/details you have about Megan/Nyx, I would appreciate it so much! We will be back in the future, Thank you so much!
