    A- Bun- Dance for Abundance

Going to cafes in certain neighborhoods in San Francisco over the years it was a place to congregate with people with similar philosophies and ideas. It seems to also be a place with people would meet to exchange ideas especially in the area of local , state ,national, and global politics. You would even hear people with ideals about changing the system and romanticizing about revolution. These discussions were common especially in the Mission throughout the different cafes . It is the place to recruit and organize. There is one place which has turned a cafe into a forum and platform where people exchange ideas and some come to learn about others POV's. This place is located at the corner of 16th and Valencia and it's Manny's. Being born and raised a block away of where Manny's is now been established since 2017 the Mission has always been a hotbed when it comes to politics and now with integration of technology . You go inside Manny's it is cafe which doubles for some as a work office a retreat away from home and others a place to enjoy the bookstore inside Manny's. There are also alcoholic drinks available and they also serves food. I came here for the coffee and their bookstore. I got the mocha with the vanilla syrup and almond milk and it was tasty and not too sweet. I also got their croissant and it was not so flakey like some in SF. The croissant was like a hybrid of a savory pan dulce ( sweet bread) at a local Panaderia ( bakery) and a croissant which was a good thing. Whether you are a Data Scientist or a Political Scientist or a novice in SF this is a good space to check out. Come to Manny's they have food and "alcohol"they also have coffee and art on the "wall" it's a place to congregate year round Winter , Spring , Summer and "Fall" Manny's is multi dimensional space it's also a Village Square and a "Town Hall" Some stand together some in "compliance"others like to fight the system and are in "defiance "some seek community others are all about "self reliance" but Manny's is the place to relax whether your interest is data or "political science "

This is the most amazing spot for local activists, curiosity seekers, concerned citizens to get involved and stay involved. A chance to hear both sides of a story in civil setting. I have stumbled in to so many great conversations with a wide variety of folks, made many new friends, and helped old friends get informed.

really like the cauliflower shawarma bowl that's vegan-friendly by default! staff is always friendly, space is nice, and food and drinks come out quickly. i do really wish there was a vegan option in the pastry case and the menus and all items were labeled for allergens and vegan/vegetarian options consistently.

I've visited this establishment for various talks. One was with Del Seymour review of his book regarding Code Tenderloin and it's called The Mayor of the Tenderloin. This is a picture of the owner of Manny who is such a positive person n the community.

On my quest for the perfect avocado toast in San Francisco I thought I'd check out Manny's. The menu showed no avocado toast until weekend brunch, but they had avocados & kindly made me avocado toast. It did not disappoint. Two slices of bread that were actually toasted! (A rarity for some reason). Next layer avocado which was spread a little thin, cucumber slices, a generous pile of greens, topped with chili oil. Delicious. Arriving at Manny's on Valencia & 16th I saw two guys In the open corner window conducting a live radio show. BFF.FM. They beckoned me & asked what I'm up to. Since I'm not microphone shy I proceeded to tell them about my quest for the perfect avocado toast in SF. They started laughing. Why? One of their topics this morning was alerting people to the annual Guacamole Contest in Bernal Heights this Saturday. Kismet. I'll definitely be there. Decor's kind of 70s with all the hanging plants & wall of books. (In a good way). Love the Kamala cardboard cutout standing proudly at the window. Manny's is familiar to me as I've attended their political meet & greets, as well as tv watch parties. In fact, they have an election count down sign on the outside wall. Their welcome statement painted on the wall: "We are a space where the community comes together to take part in civic & political life. We are a town hall, a village square, the place where anyone can meet and engage with civic leaders, elected officials, artists, activists, changemakers, and each other. Our hope is that what happens here will be the space for you to get more involved."

Got a sandwich to go but wish I could have stayed to enjoy this cute and eclectic cafe! With a constant stream of guests flowing in and out of Manny's I knew this was the spot! The staff were amazing at taking orders and making coffees -- wasting no time to service everyone. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was amazing, toasty, VERY generous with the ingredients, and best of all well priced!

Finally was able to come here during the day to try out their menu. I absolutely love chilaquiles and so of course I ordered that. I also got the Kamalatte, which is a toasted coconut latte. I didn't taste any coconut, but it was still a good latte. I forgot to say I wanted almond milk, but I actually ended up being fine with whole milk (I'm not totally lactose intolerant, but I do feel pain sometimes with lactose). The chilaquiles were yummy! The guajillo sauce was savory with a touch of sweetness. The chips had a decent crunch to them. I really like that it comes with black beans and that avocado is included. I've only had come here for events so spending time just on the cafe section was new. It was really quiet, with exception for the music at a perfectly reasonable volume. It's a good place to relax or study, maybe get some work done. Emphasis on the word "some." Don't just order a coffee and stay there for hours.. small businesses need the turn around. I digress as you can Google articles on that issue. What I like about the cafe space are the huge windows. They let a lot of natural light in. And I love that they fully open to feel the breeze and hear the sounds of the city. As with everything, the cost of my meal was high. It was $30, including tip. The quality of my latte and food were high, though. The topping screen starts at 20%, and I support Manny's, the wonderful staff, and their cause so I'm fine with that. But I feel like at this point, just charge a service fee for a livable wage. Though, I know some people really dislike that but tbh tipping culture is problematic. Anyway, gotta get off the soap box again.. Definitely check out Manny's. It's a great spot for food, drink, and knowledge.

Pleasantly surprised by the food here! A lovely event and cafe space, always quite busy here. I got the Manny's Bagel and it was fresh and delicious!!

Even with the club frequently packed, especially the later in the night you go, I find the facilities pretty clean compared to many other similar lounges. It's also conveniently located near late night pizza and crêpe eateries that are still open after Monroe closes for the win, which makes it an all-around no brainer to choose going here versus other venues.

I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic.
