What can I say about Manny. My first experience was hiring Manny to replace a simple piece of broken laminate. Perfect job. I then hired Manny to remove and replace tile in one of my bathrooms-two days later a perfect job. Finally, I hired Manny to do a complete bathroom remodel. Manny and his crew did demolition, replaced all tile, installed new fixtures (shower faucet, drains, valves, etc.) installed a new vanity, painted and cleaned everything. Needed to hire a professional hardwood flooring installer for just my living room and dining room, a total area of about 500 square feet. I did the prep work and pulled off the old floor and scraped the concrete. Its a lot of work and dust, but I managed. I also purchased the wood and glue on my own. I then called around looking for quotes. That seemed like the hardest part of the job. Some just never called backed while others gave me quotes that seemed so outrageously high. I must have called 6 different companies before contacting Manny via thumbtack. Manny was very responsive and asked me to send him pictures of my floor and flooring. Once he had that he called me back same day and gave me a estimate over the phone. He also told me to read his reviews and look at his work on thumbtack, which I did. I was happy with his finished work so we went on to schedule a date for the work to be completed. He scheduled me in the very next week! He came with a crew of 3 and got a lot done the first day. He leveled my floor and fixed the cracks in the concrete. The next day he layed the floor. It came out so beautifully that I decided to completed the rest of the house. Again he scheduled me in very quickly and finished about 550 sq feet of flooring. His crew was clean, professional, and very detailed. They even put up new baseboards that I purchased at lowes. All in all I would highly recommend Manny, since he is responsive, respectful of your home, clean, and detailed oriented. read more

I am pretty handy man, but got shoulder problem, so my wife hired Manny and Co to remove carpet and install new LVT floor. I am very very impressed with quality and speed. Fixtures were removed, Carpet was removed, Area cleaned and scrubbed. Than floor was leveled: nails were pushed down or taken out, screws were applied, patching were done. And LVT placed just as it should be. So 2 bedrooms, 2 closets, 2 dens, 2 sliding doors, 6 doors - total of 800sq feet - all in one day. Very impressive, and quality job.
