The truffle fries were delicious and could have been a meal in themselves. The walleye was battered and breaded with good texture, and the fish was flaky. I felt it was a bit overcooked, and the last several bites were very tough. Service: We did not have a reservation, and there were no tables available when we arrived. We took a spot at the bar, where the bartender got us an order of drinks. The service, both at the bar and at the table, was efficient but not especially friendly or outgoing. The food came out nice and hot, waters were kept full, and the check arrived promptly after the meal was finished. For those looking for a pub experience, this is a good spot. However, being at the American Club, I think I was looking for more of an elevated experience. This felt more like a place for a quick meal than somewhere I would feel compelled to return to. For lunch/dinner I've had their cheese curds and triple decker club wrap with waffle fries. The meals were two different tales. I didn't care for the breakfast burrito very much. I thought cheese was lacking in the burrito and it was messy not being able to pick it up and eat it like a wrap due to the gravy on top. Given the chance to do it over, I would get the gravy on the side and dunk it into it before taking a bite. Conversely, Iiked the the triple decker club wrap and thought it had a nice balance between the three meats (ham, bacon, turkey), good crunch from the lettuce, and maybe a bit too much mayo, but enough to keep the wrap from being dry. I cannot speak for their other food but if they would allow this food to leave their kitchen then I'm sure the other food is bad as well. Quite sad that people allow these horrible restaurants to continue by patronizing them. Demand better by not going to these restaurants.
