I'm so glad we checked this place out during a weekend visit to two rivers! The service was friendly, timely, and the tables were spaced out in the dining room. The food menu was not your average bar food with all sorts of twists on the burgers, sandwiches, and gourmet Mac n cheeses. I got the bob Marley which featured your choice of burger or chicken breast, mixed greens, mango salsa, and an aioli on a pretzel bun! Pretzel buns are sure to please. We ordered pickle chips and cheese curds for an app. The pickle chips were really good and crispy! I hope to be back and try another menu option. read more

Cozy local bar in an old building. Apparently this building used to be home to a local music venue. The 2nd floor had a large stage and dance area. The current owners live upstairs while they look for a house, however they do plan on restoring it as a future music venue once they move. The bar is a modest size with a dining area across the hall. I used to love this place back in the day; but ever since they lost their original cook that developed the recipes I haven't been back. After three strikes, you're out. First strike: I ordered a sandwich that was the special; avocado, chicken, lettuce, and something else, can't quite remember anymore. Stone cold when i got it, along with the fries. And the avocado was hard because it wasn't ripe. Second strike: I ordered the poogie plater (fries, bbq pulled pork, and mac n cheese). The fries were cold and the pulled pork had a piece of plastic in it that I got to pull out of my mouth. Third and final strike: I ordered their mac n cheese because it used to be my favorite. They switched to using bacon bits out of a package from the store vs. the real thing. Absolutely disgusting, the whole dish lost its integrity. And I don't know if they started using less jalapenos but there was no flavor, just a gooey congealed mess. The staff is always very nice but I will not be stopping there for food any longer. read more

Went to Revolutions for a casual birthday burger for my husband's birthday. Great Mac & cheese for appetizer...had a wonderful jalapeño zip. Had a 1/2 lb McGrath burger, a 1/4 lb gooey Louie and a basket of fries, and a couple old fashioned cocktails . Yummy burgers and a friendly, fun young man behind the bar. I had a bad experience the first time i was in this place and against my better judgement i went back again last night since some friends wanted some late night food and a drink. Upon arrival I could immediately tell something was off about the place. The 2 younger male bartenders were clearly intoxicated, which was an immediate turn off. The crowd inside was anything but desirable. There was a female at the bar who was clearly nodding out who definitely appeared to have been using narcotics, and she was served while nodding out, I also observed her by the jukebox smoking a marijuana vape pen with another female. It was obvious it was a marijuana vape pen because of the style of the pen, the fact that they were passing it back and forth and coughing, coupled with the smell. I also witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction in plain view in the corner of the bar by the video slot machines. There were several people loitering inside the building and outside of the building which made the atmosphere even more unpleasant. The owners here need to clean this place up, not only does the building smell old and musty, the crowd hanging out in there is also not very pleasant and made for a very uncomfortable experience. I will never go back again, ever, and I will always advise anyone else I know to also do the same so long as I am aware that the place remains as is. Stay away. read more

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to try it. The waitress was young cute and very nice. She said her parents owned the place and told about the history of the building it is a neat old building. I had the wavy gravy burger and Mac and cheese. My wife had the zz top burger and fries. We shared our food and the burgers were good along with the Mac and cheese. But the fries were out of this world. The only negative I can give is that the burgers were on the rare side. I don't mind them that way but my wife does not. Just something for you to keep in mind when ordering. read more

Team that with a New Glarus beer, kick back and enjoy a top-notch music feed that's heavy on late '60-70's. All Tuesdays in NEWI should be as sweet as this! read more

It not a bad place. Had the ZZ top chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. My husband had the ZZ top burger. Both sandwiches were good. The service was slow. Only 4 beers on tap. First time I ate here food was great. Service was lacking but they seemed to be under staffed. So we tried again! This time was terrible. Food was undercooked, the staff was rude. Who stated to a member of our party "this is how we cook things in America". Not sure when that would ever be acceptable. Had to return who order. That we picked up.
