Taco Gringo(back) and Ch-Ching Taco in front.

The portions were huge and delicious. Had the Ch-Ching Taco, Gringo Taco. The cheese curds were fluffy and yummy! Server was awesome gave accurate info on item size and yummy goodness. He was very attentive.

Had to go here to try it out, and can't wait to come back! Walking in it's a very clean and open atmosphere, with music playing in the background. We had a variety of food from wings , tacos, and yaki-sprouts. All I can say is you would not expect this insane quality of food here. Our bartender was knowledgeable and knew how to describe anything on the menu. We can , not, wait, to come back! Food was 10/10, just like everything else here from cleanliness to prices!!! Highly recommend!!!

Great food, great service! My 7 and 9 year old both said it was some of the best food they have ever had; I agree!

Great place and food. Definitely recommend for a great menu with really great ingredients. Also, a chef's unique spin. Check it out.

My friend and I sat in a booth catching up for a couple of hours. The bar and restaurant is big, and we felt no pressure to leave. Our server was so nice. The soups are homemade. I had beef vegetable soup, yummy! My sandwich was delicious. Fresh turkey, lettuce and tomato on a good sturdy, tasty bread. I like the celery and carrot stick with dip on the side. I need to come here more. I really enjoyed my lunch!

They said we could have the one & only big corner round table but we couldn't be seated yet. Our second couple arrived but we still couldn't be seated...we could not be seated until the third couple arrived!! IN FACT the server said IF six people had walked in just then, they would have given them the one & only table for six even though we had just requested & made it clear we wanted it & our third couple would be there soon (which they were). Thankfully it worked out. But definitely not the place to go if your group is more than 4! Food was pretty good & our waitress was great so still 3 stars but as far as working with bigger groups- 1 star if i could! Also they need to educate their very young bartender on what Amber beers are....

Years ago we relocated to Oshkosh from a much larger city…read more My husband is Italian. To our disappointment we could not find true Italian restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. So needless to say we were elated when we first heard about the opening of The Truffle Pig. Almost a year later, after the initial opening, we have made the Truffle Pig our restaurant of choice in the Fox Valley region. Reasons: Friendly and hospitable Maitre de'hotel (Master of the House). Knowledgeable and accommodating wait staff. Staff are educated on the origins and preparation of Italian cuisine. The Grand Chef-Ottimo ! As for the cuisine, I recommend the Caesar Salad and Sea Bass. My husband enjoys the Spaghettoni Cacio e Pepe (served table side) and The Fiorentina. Oh yes, I also recommend the Risotto, which is always a treat. The beverage list is extensive. If you are looking for a truly Italian experience, then this is it. Thanks for reading !

I visited this restaurant last week with friends…read more Located in a historical downtown Oshkosh building, it has an upscale feel. However, I found it to be very loud as a result of the high ceiling and open dining room. There are several other areas within the restaurant which can be closed off and would definitely not magnify the voices of the many people dining in the establishment. We had reservations and were seated promptly upon our arrival. I arrived somewhat bothered as I had learned that had we not been able to find a third couple to join us, we would have been charged $25 a piece for our friends who could not come due to illness. In Oshkosh, I find this policy off putting; as it certainly isn't a metropolitan market. The table we were sat at made any kind of conversation amongst our group difficult. Our group was six and the table was too large. It had chairs on three sides and a couch on the other. Given an opportunity, I'd have liked a booth or a regular table. Our service was good. However, we were billed as a group without an offer of being billed by couple. Definitely not the fault of our servers, but another thing I didn't appreciate. Throughout the meal, servers were very timely in returning to the table to accommodate our party. Drinks, appetizers and salads were all very good. My dining partner had Lasagna Bolognese. It was a nice sized portion. However, it lacked flavor. I had the casoncelli alla bergamasca. It was very salty but was nice sized and matched the description in the menu. Another dining partner had spaghettoni cacio e pepe prepared tableside. The other diners did not comment on their food, which led me to believe it was just okay. The only dining partner raving about their food was our friend who had the grilled yellowfin tuna. I was able to sample a bite and agreed it was excellent. We finished our meal with a nice crème brûlée dessert. Overall, it was nice. Much too pricey to make it a regular dining spot for me; however, it seemed like a place appropriate of a special occasion meal.

We made reservations and got a parking spot just outside the doorway. We were greeted and immediately seated. The dining area is very nice. It would be considered romantic. The weird part is sitting in an upscale booth and looking over to see huge televisions playing sports. I didn't mind it but kinda think there would be people conflicted by the marriage of classy meets sports bar. Our server was great. She did a good job answering questions and mixed in the right amount of sass and personality. Definitely an asset to the restaurant. The menu is on the pricier end. That said, the food was excellent. The portions were nice sized, the food came appropriately hot and was plated well. One of our dining partners asked to have her salmon finished more and it was done quickly with no issues from the server. Another dining partner loved their salmon and risotto dish. My dining partner enjoyed the beef bolognese. I enjoyed my Parmesan encrusted walleye with vegetables and red potatoes. Would I go here on a regular basis? If I was economically inclined to do so, yes. Would I reserve visits to special occasions? Probably. But one way on another, I'd go again.
