Outstanding microbrewery with great tasting beers in a roomy rustic building. The new location provides a very nice ambiance for enjoying their extensive range of beers. A five-beer flight (or two) is a great way to experience the concoctions they brew. Order at the bar and sit there or find a table. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised with this spot. HUGE patio area outside and plenty of room indoors. They just started serving food. We got the curds and they were awesome.

This IS fatty beef. Don't care the flavor, the cook, the name of the piece. It's FATTY

Sadly, 1st time at the NEW location, totally psyched to go there for dinner! Always chose Petskull beer or suggested Petskull beer at EVERY place we ate at, every week! Asked to TASTE 3 beers, bartender told me they only allow tastings "of 3 beers" ‍, I said "great!" Told her the 3 I wanted to taste, she replied they were out of 1, (the peanut butter and jelly tasting one). No problem, tried the 2, chose one, then 1 for my husband. Then I ordered food, the Muffuletta, bartender said "we're out of that" I immediately had a back up choice, roast beef Po boy, but to have it "LEAN". The bartender asked me "WHAT DOES LEAN MEAN?" The owner decided to step in and asked what I meant by lean and I replied about the photo on Facebook shows a very fatty piece of beef, he replied, "you'll get whatever comes out of the kitchen." At some point, YES, YES, YES, I ROLLED MY EYES......ONCE!! Big deal! He IMMEDIATELY, LITERALLY, without a seconds hesitation, kicked us out blaming us for everything, out of a beer we wanted but they were out of, a dinner we wanted but they were out of, and a lousy request for trimmed (LEAN) fat off the beef. We weren't drunk, loud, obnoxious, swearing, name calling, threatening, picking fights, NOTHING to get anyone thrown out of a bar. Just a simple roll of the eyes in frustration after everything we went through. WE had to compromise, and did so very willingly and happily. He knew my husband was a 23 year combat veteran and I, a 28 year RN, he said "GET OUT!". What the ...? Because I rolled my eyes? Never before in my life had I been treated even CLOSE to this, and we eat out every single week and try out dozens and dozens of different places. These photos are directly from Petskull public Facebook.

Great beer selection! I was impressed by the repurposed building and ambiance as well as the tasty food and beer. Loved the Nightcap!! A nitro pastry stout!!

A flight of beer was just the thing for someone who's not a confirmed beer lover; #9 Grandma Rose, a strawberry wheat, was a game changer. The Runner-up was # 10, a passionfruit milkshake IPA.

I visited PetSkull Brewing on 6/17/22. I visit craft breweries as a hobby. I was reminded that I needed to update my Garmin GPS as I was initially sent to their old address. There is another new brewery at the old address just opening. The nice woman in the Italian deli/restaurant across the street advised me as to the new address and I found it quickly after. The new location is on a corner where there is somewhat spotty parking, primarily on the street. There's a parking lot across the street that appears to be owned by the factory/business and consists of gravel. There was a lot of construction around the establishment with new housing and renovations to the surrounding street. This was the primary view from the back patio. The building is historic & and spacious inside. I approached the bar/front counter and first realized that there was a kitchen specializing in Cajun/New Orleans fare. There was also a sign prohibiting outside food. I ordered a flight of 5 to try. As I normally do, I asked about brewery stickers and the Wi-Fi connection. The friendly bartender informed me they had no Wi-Fi and the stickers (choice of 3) were $3 a piece. Apparently they need every penny to pay for their expansion. Every other brewery I've visited (approximately 165 as of the date of visit) offers a sticker for free or $1 at the most. $3 is excessive. It is equally unusual for a brewery in 2022 not to have a Wi-Fi connection. This is equivalent to running Windows 95 in a modern office. I sat and had my flight on the patio. I liked the Schnitzky & Trappist Tripel the most. The others were ok. Nice selection of beer. No Wi-Fi.

Ask the Community - PetSkull Brewing

    Dog friendly, patio?

Yes, it is pet friendly on the patio, under the tent, or on the sidewalk, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, clean up after your dog! It's disgusting how many people don't. Your dog is on a leash, it's not like you won't see when it goes.

We didn't really need anything to eat but the mousse flight sounded too good to pass up. And I was not disappointed. Our server was new and dropped the first flight (it was in martini glasses so I'm pretty sure I would have done that too) but they quickly remade them. A cool spot in an old bank which uses the original drive thru for their coffee offerings.

The Jazz night was on a Saturday night from 5-8. We arrived a little before 5 and it was the dinner rush. We found a seat close to the entertainment and were greeted shortly after. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a margarita mocktail and a iced caramel macchiato. My husband and I ordered the nachos to share. There are options to add chicken or ground beef to the nachos. We chose the ground beef. The service was fast and friendly and our drinks amd nachos were out shortly after ordering. The nachos were so good. We ordered the small and was the perfect amount for us to share. My margarita was perfect and couldn't tell there wasn't a lick of alcohol in it. :). My caramel macchiato was sweet and delicious. The Jazz pianist that night was Blue Louis. He took a mix of contemporary, Jazz, show tunes, country, love songs and jazzed them up. He is an expert pianist and welcomed our comments and questions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are hoping Cool City will consider another Jazz night!

I may have found my new cider! Anywho, for a small town like Algoma, this place was hoppin', and it wasn't just locals! There is plenty of seating indoors at the bar or around it.
