I have been to this restaurant a number of times and it's always just been ok. The service was always a bit slow and I thought it was a bit pricey. I am not sure if they are under new management or just have different cooks, but tonight was fantastic! They have their new spring menu out and there are a few new additions. I also noticed that the prices seemed more reasonable than they used to be. We tried the brussel sprouts to start. They were very good and came out of the kitchen in only a couple of minutes. Then I had the chicken fajita wrap with garlic tots. It was delicious! The kitchen got our entrees out super fast too, about 10 minutes. I should mention that it was very busy due to the NFL draft. To top off our great experience was our server, Bree! She was amazing and kind! She was on top of everything and timed out her stops to our table perfectly. We were here for a private party and knew we were buying our own drinks, so we headed to the bar first. We waited 10 minutes before the bartender asked us if we were with the private party. My husband said that we were. She told us "The room has its own bartender, and I don't need you people coming down here and bothering me". We went back to the room, and a waitress did come in and take our order. She was very pleasant, and we tipped her well. The food didn't arrive at the scheduled time, but was OK. Great space for parking. Busy during lunch, but sat at our table right away. Great waiter, looks like he works hard. Menu looks great and several delicious options. Specials for every day and even Fish Fridays! Ordered Nachos (good) and Mushroom Swiss Burger was average. Shrooms were a bit undercooked. From the minute we walked in we knew it was a mistake. There was a sign that said wait to be seated which wasn't a problem but what WAS the problem is seeing is how is wasn't busy it should not have taken almost eight minutes for anyone to notice us. The waitress finally met us at the door and asked if we wanted a high top or low top. I said high top so we followed her to the corner of the bar where she looked at me and said "give me a minute I'll be right back" and proceeded to cleaning supplies and literally clean the table she was about to seat us at. In the meantime the three tables we passed with food in them didn't seem to catch any employees attention. When we were waiting I said to my dining partner "I'm just going to tell her give ur a low table". As we were turning to go back to the low table another waitress asked "are you leaving" and I said we just are going to a low table. The first waitress finally came back and said "the table is ready" and I said we will just sit at a low table it's fine. Perhaps she should have thought about cleaning the necessary tables prior to patrons coming in the restaurant. The second waitress was friendly and did a good job making sure the drinks were tipped off. She is the only thing that made this restaurant get any stars. I ordered their version of nachos which were mediocre at best, and pricey for what you get. The price was displayed, however, what you expected for the price and what you get for the price are on complete opposite ends of the dining spectrum. We each ordered burgers, no pink. They were awful. No pink, or well done does not usually mean burned unfortunately at Holidays Pub &Grill that is exactly what it means. The burgers were warm at best but defiantly not hot. I've have reheated microwave food that is hotter than my burger was when the waitress served them. In summary the restaurant was not clean, the wait staff was not friendly, inviting, prepared or professional, and the food was defiantly an after thought both to those who prepared it as well as those who served it. For a total bill of over $50.00 I will not be back nor in good conscious will I recommend this restaurant to anyone read more

Overall, all right. Food: I would give two stars. It is uninspired and pricey bar food, plus they messed up our order. Service and atmosphere, four stars. They corrected the mistake with tact and it's a fun place to watch a game. Lots of taps as well, but I didn't try any. So that kind of averages out to three stars... take it or leave it. read more

We rented their "party room" for our family Christmas. We show up at the time it was booked for and find out that they double booked the room. With 19 people waiting now, all we are offered is to stand and wait for the group to be done. They said the group was just finishing up but they actually were just getting their food. We asked for some sort of compensation and all we got were some "free appetizers" aka chips and salsa. On top of this they messed up our initial drink order and over half of our drinks came with no alcohol. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The food was okay I wish that the salad was a little more balanced that I ordered. It was just a lot of lettuce and shredded cheese. If I could give this place no stars I would. Normally I only leave a review if I had a positive experience, but this experience was so bad I felt that I should warn others. I have a gluten allergy and it results in asthma and digestive issues. Within 30 minutes of eating I was having issues. I specifically asked for grilled chicken on my salad and stressed that it had to be GF. I was assured that all would be ok. Well, guess what... it wasn't. My chicken salad came out with tons of hot sauce all over it. I sent it back and it came out again the same way, claiming it was GF. I said I didn't want the sauce as I didn't trust it, but was assured that the sauce was GF. I looked it up and reds is GF, but I'm guessing it was in a container in the kitchen and was brushed on my chicken with a contaminated brush. But, the kicker of it all was the food server who said to me, and I quote directly "I'm allergic to avocado so I just make sure I always ask for no guacamole or avocado on my meal". Ok, here's the deal on Holidays: Best sports screens in Sheboygan county. For my tastes, best sports bar. Food Is very competent. Very clean place. Service is good. Slower when packed - see math. Beer selection is decent. Mixology could be better but it's a sports bar. And contrary to some of the older reviews, I don't find it loud. I go for the Western Burger. The lovely Maureen goes for the tacos or turkey club. She doesn't hesitate to go as she likes the food and they serve Stella beer which is her gig. The food is pretty good here. We were visiting family in the area and wanted to go out for some comfort food on a Saturday night. There were plenty of tables open when we arrived at 7:00pm. The waitress said it doesn't get busy there until around 10:00pm. All the food on the menu is well priced. We had some buffalo wings which were good, and we all had burgers. The burgers were all done to our liking, and no complaints. The food is pretty good for "bar food". My favorite aspect of the restaurant was the service. Our server was very attentive and quick with everything. She recommended we try the local "Three Sheeps" beer that is brewed in Sheboygan. It went well with the food. They also have a good selection of other beers on tap. If you are a Chicagoan up for a visit to Kohler or Sheboygan, and want something lower key or simple, then this is your place. Ate there three times. They serve fried food and that's basically the highlight, so if you are planning on a nice meal, go elsewhere. The staffing is slim so it's pretty self-serve and flagging down staff and trying to make eye- contact to get service at times. The sports screens are great. The male bartender-Brendan- (this was in a Sunday during football) spent the entire time flirting up one patron, and did not move from his spot . While I waited he was scrolling through photos on his phone! Which to me is not acceptable while you are waiting for service at a service based establishment. F for service. We have eaten here before in the old building and the food was always good. This was our first time in the new building. High ceilings and a large hall like room make it a bit loud for my taste. We tried three items. The first was an app call shrimp and crab tater tots. Could not taste much if any of the seafood, not worth the ten bucks for six tater tots. We also had a sandwich which was very good. The last item we tried was the pizza. It was ok except the bottom of the crust. They used to much flour so the crust does not stick to the cooking surface. So much that I was trying to brush it off the bottom so I was not eating raw flour. Do you seat yourself? Do you find a table? Nobody working there gives you eye contact to confirm you are a new patron. Finally we grab a waitress who was friendly enough gave us menus and rushed away saying she's going to be back to take our order. No drinks offered. We sat. We waited. We waited some more. We watched another group come in find seats and have their order taken. We are still waiting. Still no waitress. So we left. I have no idea what the food is like but I cannot help but think they are either very understaffed or their waitstaff needs additional training in good customer service.
