My personal experience with him has left a horrible taste in my mouth (excuse the pun). I have bad teeth. He made a permanent bridge for my top teeth. For the front bottom 4 he made a denture. I tried for months to get used to it and just could not. I hated it. So, I asked for the same type of permanent bridge on the bottom. It's very embarrassing to not have my front 4 bottom teeth, and my job involves visiting multiple people every day. He told me he could do it and would fight to have it done with the insurance. I had even applied for the credit I would need to get it done. (It was not cheap) Next thing I know it's been denied by insurance. I come to find out after many calls and attempts to appeal that this cowardly lying SOB told the insurance he couldn't recommend it. While still telling me he would fight to get it done. Obviously, we have left the guy and would recommend you go see someone else. I am sure he is fine for cleanings, but so is a dental hygienist. If you need more than that or a fluoride treatment, go to a better skilled and less cowardly dentist.

I won't have a day off for another 6 days and next Wednesday they are closed so I'm left with a temporary filling for who knows how long. This doctor does not care about his patients. I'm leaving his office extremely stressed about when I will have this fixed as I work 10-12 hour shifts and am looking at 6 days a week the next couple of weeks. There is a reason they have a 5-Star rating on Yelp! My initial reaction was with Kiki in the office. I was completely lost with how to handle my new insurance but she took my information and had me set up in no time. She even followed up with me a few hours later to let me know that everything had cleared and confirm my appointment. As I type this, I currently have a LOT of work to be done on my teeth, but my experiences thus far have been nothing short of, dare I say, almost enjoyable. Barb & Anna are wonderful dental hygienists. Being a naturally inquisitive creature, they walk me through every step, not only telling me what they're doing but also why. They're also gentle, yet very effective, in their handling which is really surprising. Dr Chidester is also an immensely likable, no-nonsense doctor with decades of experience under his belt. The office also offers payment plans if you're unable to pay for everything up front. I'm so glad that I found this office and can not recommend them enough!
