I've had two bad experiences here now, and this will definitely be my last visit. The receptionist at the front showed little to no customer service skills. During my most recent appointment, I arrived on time for my 10:30am slot and ended up waiting over 30 minutes. While I was still waiting, other patients were being called ahead of me, which was frustrating and confusing. When I finally went up to the front desk to reschedule, the receptionist asked for my name again and still seemed unable to locate me in the system, even though she had already checked me in earlier. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the long wait. Instead, I was offered a new appointment over a month later, at the end of May. This isn't the first issue I've had either, on a previous occasion, I was told I'd receive a call to schedule an appointment, but after waiting a full month with no follow-up, I had to reach out myself. Overall, this place has been extremely disorganized and unprofessional in my experience. I would not recommend it. read more

I've had my third appointment at Align Dentistry after not seeing a dentist for two years. The staff is friendly. And their availability is very accommodating. The office is modern, clean, and state of the art. Dr. Chen is professional and extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain all of my treatment options and doesn't make me feel like he only wants to do the most profitable procedures. Disclaimer: I am related to the owners of this establishment. So, This may be a biased review. But, I will try my best to be objective. My experience at align dentistry was worth 5 stars for 2 reasons: high quality facility and high quality service. You will be hard pressed to find a dental office that is as chic, clean, and comfortable as Align. The equipment and layout felt very contemporary. When I was sitting in the waiting room, it didn't feel like I was waiting in a dentist's office. It felt more like a hotel lobby. The size of the room plus the warm sunshine bursting through the huge windows and cushy chairs helped the time fly - plus I didn't get that uncomfortable stuffy feeling that adds to the dread of going to a doctor or dentist. When walking into the treatment area, the first thing I saw was a super fancy looking 3d X-ray machine - which made my care feel very futuristic and advanced. Secondly, the care is superb. Dr. Tiffany was the dentist that worked on me and she is the most comforting and gentle dentist that has ever put their latex-laden hands in my mouth. She did great giving me a thorough but PAIN-FREE cleaning. She even gave me 2 fillings, and when the anesthesia wore out, there was still, NO PAIN. A filling isn't supposed to really cause much pain... But I can't explain how many times my mouth is sore or irritated because of a poorly adjusted filling. Thus, Dr. Tiffany is definitely the best dentist I've ever had. The rest of the staff (the assistant and receptionist) are incredibly helpful and welcoming. I haven't had Dr. Chris give me treatment before, but I would not hesitate to consult him because - from what I've heard- he's the talent. 5 stars all around!! I have been going to Align for years. I don't have the best teeth, but they've helped me get to where I need to be to have healthy teeth. I recommend Align to everyone who mentions going to the dentist. It's 5 mins from work, so convenient for lunch cleaning sessions, but worth driving the 40 mins from my home on weekends, as Tiffany and Chris are wonderful, as well as the staff. People dread going to the dentist, I can honestly say that I used to too until I went to Align. They make going to the dentist easy and comfortable. Can't recommend them enough. I have been going to Dr. Chen for three years and now my husband and brother both joined me. We have been very pleased by the professional service and friendly staff there. The particular facility is very clean and spacious. The waiting room is bright and comfortable as well. I am always impressed how they schedule patients and see them on time. The treatment plans are always done clearly and they took pictures of everything they did. It's nice to see on the screen and know what was done. They are very patient and explain the bills in details. They don't push you if you can't afford it either. I saw Dr. Leung twice and she's equally nice and good. They offer Wednesday night and Saturday morning hours if you can't get time off during the day. You need to book it far in advance though. If you live in the vicinity, I highly recommend them. Friendly and professional service; Dr. Chen may have a difficult job making a visit to the dentist as painless as possible but he succeeds, and the receptionist is always bright and cheerful. My insurance pays for my visits and from what I see the prices are typical for a DDS. Sometimes there may be a one day wait but if it's urgent you can be able to get an appointment the same day you call. read more

My husband started going here in early 2014 and I recently joined him. The office suite is clean and modern with flat screen tv's in front of all the chairs. Parking is by the village hall (half a block west), so don't be alarmed when you see it's on Irving Park Road. I'd like to rate this office higher but my major complaint is that they are understaffed for the client base they have. First off, this place is a beautiful establishment! It's very inviting and easily the nicest dentist/ orthodontics office I've ever been to. Both doctors were SO nice but also very professional. I am so thankful for the service at align dentistry! The first dental clinic I went to... couldn't fit me in for a root canal for another two weeks but Align dentistry was extremely accommodating. Dr. Chen was amazing & I didn't even feel the shot of lidocaine he inserted! After an hour, I was all fixed up and couldn't be happier. How can I give an extra star so it's 6/5 rating?!? Let's start with why we went here in the first place: multiple failed dental implant. We tried two other dental clinics that weren't skillful enough. We asked around and a friend recommended Align Dentistry in particular Dr Chen. Should of just read the reviews here and skip the other two offices and save all that pain! Dr Chen's skills are unparalleled with the greatest precision. My implant was done correctly the first time! Definitely want to give him and this office 6 stars for saving me money, time, and most importantly pain!! I just had my first appointment at Align Dentistry and I had a great time there. I was with Dr. Chen for a check up and cleaning. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining what was going on with my gum/teeth and what I would need to do. The appointment went pretty smoothly and at the end Dr. Chen also explained to me my insurance benefits and gave me good advice as to what I should do and how to proceed with my future dental procedures. The only thing I didn't like about this appointment was that I found out I had cavities! But hopefully with a couple visits those should be filled up. I have been meaning to provide a review for a few years now. Quite simply, the most ethical dentists you could ever meet or ask for. How do I know that? He shows you literally everything he can and explains everything he can. That means a lot to me and it should to other people. My wife recently came here for a second opinion and Dr. Chen gave his honest opinion and explained options, which he is consistently good at doing. Her old dentist was embarrassed by his own poor diagnosis which he never even explained to her, because he messed up. To top it off, the technology that they use in office along with staying up to date on new technology and procedures is top notch. My son needed a Maryland Bridge, he is 15 years old and I was very nervous about making the right choice for him. This was by far my best experience at a dentist's office! It honestly felt more like going to a relaxing spa than your otherwise typical dental office. I did not have an appointment and walked in late on a Friday afternoon, yet Dr. Leung and Dr. Chen still welcomed me warmly into their office. Dr. Leung provided me the full service with a thorough dental cleaning, check-up, X-rays, fluoride varnish, and more. She was very knowledgable and explained to me what potential problem areas I had in my mouth, while displaying pictures of my teeth on a large flat screen TV (all while I sat comfortably in the exam chair). On top of professional, passionate, personable, and knowledgeable providers, this office is brand new, clean, spacious, and with state-of-the-art equipment. I was searching for somewhere new that was near to me when I saw all these great reviews: "I can't wait to go back!" Oh, come on now! This IS a dentist, right?! But, I went yesterday and I must say, I was blown away. Dr. Tiffany Leung was great.Very nice and her touch/technique was SO gentle. One of the things I had come to dread at my old dentist was that gum poking thing where they measure your 'pockets.' Dr Leung was done before I even knew she started and also did my cleaning instead of having a dental tech do it. The facility itself is gorgeous and super clean.
