I was in town on a business trip and wanted some authentic Mediterranean food that was nearby. Nick's did not disappoint. I started with an appetizer of Grape Leaves. It was enough for two people. The ingredients were fresh and they were tasty. For an entree I went with a lamb gyro platter with a side of grilled vegetables. The lamb was well seasoned but not overly salty. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and quick and the ambiance was casual and all local neighborhood folks. There is street metered parking available where there is no charge after 7pm on weekdays. You can use the Park NYC application.

End the night with some hot Turkish black tea or string Turkish coffee with a sweet piece of baklavah or a digestive night cap of Raki mixed with a little water and you are good to go!
