All-you-can-eat hot pot & bbq- it was all more than enough! We were a large group, and this worked perfectly for all the different preferences. We did have to agree on grill items, but no big deal - theres enough beef, pork, chicken & seafood choices for everyone.  Hot pot veggie ingredients are from a self-serve bar, they bring out the meat per your order. I really liked all the seafood choices, including spicy shrimp & small octopus. It's a good choice for a hungry, large group.

For all you can eat hot pot and/or Korean barbecue, Manna's menu and price per person is great! You can opt to do one or both, and guests gave access to the self-service vegetable and seafood bar as well as sauce station. You can make your own concoctions of all types of sauces and dips. I don't believe there is a time limit for your party so it's nice to enjoy their food with friends and family. The staff is attentive and makes sure you have all the meats you desire for your soup and/or grilling. For dessert, they have a self-serve ice cream bar. They usually have chocolate, strawberry, chocolate, and matcha green tea flavors.

I've been to manna before but only the carrolton location so I was a bit curious on how the Plano location compared. First thing I noticed was that they didn't have any sides on the menu, such as steamed egg that the carrolton location has. As for the meat, it was alright but one thing that did disappoint was the galbi since I could barely taste the marinade, and it seemed to not have been marinated for very long. However, the service made up for it, because all of the servers were very friendly and since we went pretty late, it wasn't busy at all so they came by every once in a while and cooked the meat for us which was nice of them. The experience was good, but I do prefer the carrolton location more.

A new experience, friendly staff, open area and spacious environment. More detailed explanations of food choices and the general setup and process would be helpful. Some of the hot pots at our station did not work, which caused our party to have to shift around. We made the best of it but had to sort of talk around some empty seats. The location is convenient overall, and Immediately next door to a market that seems very popular. Overall I would say the price point is high for the value and experience.

Service was great! Very fast and attentive. The vibes are great and the restaurant looks very nice. We went for the BBQ and it was inexpensive and delicious. Often times at kbbq places, the meats are hit or miss but 90% of the meats we got were very tasty. There's also an extremely large meat selection in comparison to kbbq places around the same price. They also have a build your own sauce bar where you can get sesame oil, salt, chili oil etc. Definitely recommend for a night out w your s/o or friends.

We randomly picked a place to munch on. It wasn't the best choice. Service was totally lacking & it wasn't even busy. The broth was very diluted. However they did offer quite a decent selection of shabu shabu ingredients. The red wine tasted stale (only had 2 sips). It's located in an Asian plaza with plenty of parking.

Great food and hospitality, the meat was so fresh and we had an overall amazing experience. Thank you!!

Pretty good spot for some kbbq and hot pot. All the meats are of good quality and they have a variety of sauces and shabu shabu ingredients. Minus one star for no side items or lettuce

    Unchanged grill. Yuck.

Not good. Slow, inattentive, unhelpful service. Grills don't get hot so food steams, not grills. Bonchon is old. We had to ask three times for more water. No explanation about rice service. Mostly, food was just bad. No point to get Korean bbq if the food won't grill. Restaurant feels unclean - greasy floors and tables. Music is cheesy pop played too loudly with a bad system. Manna in Carrollton is better, but many options in Plano are better including Ari.

Very good food with a great selection of hotpot ingredients. We usually only go for hotpot and easily get full without Korean BBQ also.

What are the prices for kids?

Is the shabu all you can eat?

Yes, you can order from the table menu or go to the bar and grab food from there

Thank you so much for reaching out to us by yelp. I am sorry to hear that we didn't answer your call.I apologize the inconvenience caused by us.. some reason our phone line…

    Do I need reservations?

I would say no. Every time I have been there we just walked in and got seated right away. The space is rather large - on a Friday or Saturday night it could be extra full but in general I have never had a problem! I hope you enjoy this place as much…

    Is Manna Shabu BYOB?

    No, not BYOB.

Can you still do bbq and hotpot at the same time like back when this was called Sharonies?

    Yes

Do they have lunch price on Saturday?

I just called to check and they said they do have lunch prices on Saturday. It's $16.99/person!

I hope I didn't miss any! The mushroom bibimbap is flavorful! We've never had this particular bibimbap before and man it goes well with the meat. Beef rib was tender and nice. We wanted it a bit rare :) and it was delish! Dipping sauce was nice but honestly doesn't need it! Oh and the grilled mushroom is good with it. Pork belly was the star of the meal. Had it with 2 week aged grilled kimchi (so special!!) and we got samjang with it, yummm. We were stuffed to the rim and had to take a little box of leftovers home. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.
