The insurance company stays on top if the vechicle is in your name or not, they run the vin number when you go to put insurance on it. Also when you try and get tags for it it has to go in your name. So there is more to the story than what this person is letting on. In the state of KY you have to have full coverage on a vechicle that has a lien on it. So if this person had full coverage on it, the insurance company would have paid off the vechicle.

First they never transferred my car into my name after taking my tax and title and license money, so when there was a horrible ice and snow storm I am sure everyone remembers I wrecked the vehicle had to get it towed to a local tow yard to be fixed, found out the car NEVER had my name on it in all the months I had it, was not able to get my vehicle out of the yard, until the GREAT Nick from Foreign Auto came to tow it to his shop, then demanded I pay the remaining balance on the vehicle before he would release it to me. Of course I did not, I contacted a lawyer and I believe he enjoyed fighting it. He literally came to my job and sat there, harassed all my family members over this, and don't forget the car he wanted me to buy out right before I could have it back, he SOLD it! And not to count all the money I had put into the car. I had 3 inch flow masters, 1 15in sun and amp I had customized the interior to match the paint job. Horrible people. Long story short 6 years later he has his wife call and again trying to get me to pay the car off. DUDE you sold it, you never put it in my name, you basically stole everything I had in it. Quit double dipping! and leave honest people alone!!

It takes less than 10 min to replace this part, not 10 hours. Ended up replacing it ourselves for the price of part and about 5 min.
