The mechanic stated the evap purge valve needed replaced and it would cost $1645.00. The part itself is about $71 and he stated labor was $160/hour. It takes less than 10 min to replace this part, not 10 hours. Ended up replacing it ourselves for the price of part and about 5 min. Ford quotes the amount of hours dealerships are allowed to charge for labor so I'm confused how this simple fix totaled over $1600 here but will definitely not return to this dealership.
