Dutch's Chevy service department sucks! They lie, they ignore, they neglect their customers. One customer who bought a new Silverado HD 2500 truck, had some weird noise coming from underneath when he first drove it home. He took it back repeatedly about this issue. Service Mgr said "they make them like that now, that's the way it's supposed to sound, nothing wrong". hahahaha,,what a moron! Eventually he promised to call the service engineers who are there to help dealers when there is a problem they can't diagnose. Next time customer had the truck in service he asked the mgr if he ever reached the engineers and what they had to say. Mgr said he had called but unable to make contact and he was waiting on them to return his call! LIE!!!!...Going forward with the truck now having 100k miles on it, customer was there for another issue and he asked the tech who was working on it about the first issue that had always been there but nobody ever had taken interest enough to find out what was wrong. The tech (who had worked for the dealership for many years and even worked for the same dealership before Dutch's became the owner) said to customer, "Well, I can call the GM engineers myself"...He went in an office and called them and got an answer right away that it probably was a "cracked flywheel". The tech checked it out and found it to be exactly what was wrong with it. They repaired it and presented the customer with a substantial repair bill to which customer disputed saying it should be warranty because he had brought it in time and again when it was brand new and got no answers or help. They reissued the bill reducing it a bit but yet presented him a bill for $1400.00......Some years later he had the truck back in service for another issue. The techs failed to finish the job correctly causing loss of the transmission. Customer broke down on the road approx 25 miles away & had to sit in the coldest of winter weather to wait on the tow truck. This time he was presented with a bill for $3700. Customer is very knowledgeable about vehicles, motors, and how they work and knew exactly what had caused the transmission loss. In his younger years he did all his own mechanical and maintenance work on vehicles. After high school he took a correspondence course in auto repair and he could "soup up a car" to beat any other on the drag race strip. Yet the owner and service manager denied that their techs couldn't or wouldn't have made such an error causing the loss of transmission. This customer was screwed out of $5500 on a brand new truck he bought from Dutch's. They lost a loyal customer and friend and we have spread this story far and wide. I know of several who said they would never do business there after hearing this story. This customer just bought himself a brand new black Silverado 1500 from Dan Cummin's Chevrolet in Paris, Ky. They will treat you right in Paris! Dutch's will be repaid for their fraud and crooked dealing, not with cash but on Judgment Day when they will be required to kneel before Christ and admit that he is Lord. Jesus will say " I knew you not " and throw them over into the lake of fire where they will be tortured with beasts and gnashing of teeth, no water, no exits, no second chances. This customer has a sick daughter who needed the $5500 for medical treatment. Her disease is incurable and destructible. (It's actually the SAME DISEASE AS ALS WHICH KILLED David's MOTHER.) Her life is miserable & painful. She is unable to work after struggling and putting her all into earning her BS degree while working a full and part time job as a paralegal. There is treatment, very expensive treatment, but no cure. Shame on the thieves who stole $5500 from this honest loyal customer. I would not want to change places with any of the thieves who scammed an honest customer out of $5500. There is no difference in this type of theft and robbing a bank, a jewelry store or a museum of it's priceless pieces of art. May God help these warped evil materialistic minds. read more
