A sister restaurant of the ones in Campsie and Ashfield. The menu doesn't offer as much of a variety as the other stores but the standards of ramen and sushi platters are all there.
Hubby and I opted for ramen on a cold damp day, we were going to order one each, however we stumbled upon the "Godzilla Ramen". There was a note next to the photo indicating $1 refund if you finish it alone. With that, it seemed to indicate that it may be enough for two so we ordered one of those, and a spicy tuna roll. (Trying to be frugal at the moment).
Godzilla ramen - deeelicious!! The ramen came with thick slices of charshu, chicken karage, teriyaki (?) chicken, egg, corn, bamboo shoots, black fungus strips in miso broth. Definitely filling for two!
Spicy tuna roll - as a person seeking the taste of a standard spicy tuna roll from Los Angeles, CA, this one was quite decent. Rather than a more minced type tuna, they did use chunks mixed with spicy mayo and Japanese chilli powder (Shichi-mi tōgarashi). It satisfies the craving.
Verdict - a good go-to for ramen and simple sushi fix read more
