Wow the service alone was 10 stars, they def know how to run a business, super friendly and loving. This place is small and packed and I know why, this is a slice of home for me, since moving here I noticed there's no 'taco shops' like California and barely any Mexican food (only sucky restaurants claiming to be authentic). So I was happy just to see a sign that said TACO SHOP! That made me really excited to try this. We ordered Birria tacos, carne asada fries, carne asada burrito and drinks, they were so nice to offer us rice since we got no dairy on anything. Once we got the carne asada I was happy to see it was authentic carne asada but it was missing the flavor of it sadly, the rice is good and the hot sauces are great especially the roasted red one (hot like it should be with tons of flavor). The birria tacos are what shined here, they were exactly how they should be and amazing!!!! I believe tortillas can make or break a meal, I didn't realize how hard it is to find some good authentic tortillas around here, I've been looking for months and finally I can say these are pretty authentic, the corn ones are what you find in Mexico and California and the flour tortillas are good too (the best over here that I've found). Word of advice to people ordering the burritos, ask for it not to be toasted, I'm sorry but burritos are way better just warmed up not crispy, try it, you'll thank me later. After eating I came back to order more tortillas to take home since I'm tired of making them almost everyday, they were so kind to share a dozen with me, I appreciate that so much!!! I will 10000% be back!!

Went around 12pm during the week and service was pretty fast considering it was busy in there! I don't eat dairy so I got a chicken burrito without cheese and sour cream. I loved the crispy outside and how it came with avocado on it. My partner got the birria tacos, he said they were tasty and good for the location but not the best he's ever had. We sat inside and ate. There is a nice toppings bar in there if you wanted to add anything extra to your food. The inside decor and ambience is nothing special in my opinion. Overall, was a tasty lunch spot but a little pricey for what it was in my opinion. My burrito was $13 and the tacos were $16. It was a good experience and I would probably come back.

We've been meaning to try for a while and finally got around to it yesterday. It was quiet when we arrived just before 4 but quickly picked up. I tried the Carne asada fries. It's $13 but a huge portion. The queso is in a separate container, so you can pour on as much as you want. I did a little at a time. The fries are super crispy. It even kept well as a leftover for the next day. I still have half a container of queso. I just wish the dish had a little kick to it. My son loved his tacos. I like that they have a free topping station. Definitely trying tacos next time since I like that you can top the way you want. What I don't know is if you can request avocado for an upcharge. I don't eat guac. Plan on trying quesadillas, too. They have Mexican soda so it's all cane sugar. We tried the flan and tres leches. The flan was good but tree leches is not for me. I had a feeling it wouldn't be and it had nothing to do with the preparation but I wanted to check it out. Next time, churos. Service is friendly. It's spacious and cozy.

Still one of my favorite spots to eat... As can be seen by my check-ins! It's pretty much a weekly meal at my house. Typically the taco bowl, but sometimes I switch it up to a burrito or quesadilla. I've tried every item on the menu with the exception of the choriqueso. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The free toppings bar is expensive with a little something for everyone! They always have music playing that makes me want to dance!

First time here. There were lots of options and a full toppings bar. The owner was so friendly and the birria tacos were incredible.

Found Gypsy Kitchen on Transit Road, I mean to make a habit of going there often from here on out. The coffee is legit. They clearly know what they're doing with espresso. Also grabbed a bite to eat -- food is fresh, not an afterthought. The space is comfortable without being pretentious. Good seating, good light, not loud. I've worked remotely from here, met up with people, and just sat solo -- all work. Free wifi, easy parking, the whole thing. Open Tuesday through Saturday which works fine for me. Staff is friendly every single time, remembers regulars, doesn't rush you out. If you're in Lockport, Niagara Falls, or anywhere in WNY and searching for a local coffee shop that's actually worth it -- this is the answer. Not a chain, not a compromise. Just really good coffee in a spot that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. One of the better finds in Western New York honestly.

You walk in and you are transformed into an adorable little coffee shop/cafe! The decor is super unique, they have different areas with different decorations. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. They have a bakery case, multiple options. They have loose leaf tea as well as espresso drinks. I really liked the coffee options. We split a sandwich and got the bean side. Very good. Clean individual bathrooms. Plenty of parking and seating. Kind service.
