This was an awesome meal and experience!!! The staff is so lovely and pleasant. Our waitress could not have been any nicer. And then the food came... Our entire table just kept saying "oh my gosh" after every bite because the food was so delicious!!! My husband had the ribs fajita, my sister-in-law had the steak topped with chorizo and I had the seafood fajita. All three were simply amazing!!! The top shelf margarita was delicious. I eat at Mango's about once or twice a month, and when I cannot find time to sit inside the restaurant I'll get it for carry-out. The atmosphere could be better, but the food and amazing service completely make up for it. Food is delicious and comes out fast. The service cannot be beat. I work in the service industry and I must say I have not had one instance when the service was sub-par. Servers get the order right, and are very nice and attentive. Always. I have been to many Tex-Mex restaurants and have ordered MANY steak fajitas and these are by far the best! The steak is juicy and very well seasoned/marinated. You get a generous portion of meat, however it seems as though they have cut down a tiny bit in the last year. The margaritas are on point, and pretty strong! Happy hour, $4, two of these bad boys and you'll be feeling good. But, please save room for dessert! 9 times out of 10 I have to get the sopapillas after my meal, regardless if I have room for them or not. They are so good, I have no choice. All in all, my favorite restaurant in Laurel. 5 stars! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Sometimes I just randomly select something off the menu to try new food, and it's always flavorful, fresh, and tasty. Try the pupusa or the carne asada. I order from here on my birthday, or whenever I want some feel good food. Most menu items are also pretty healthy, so I recommend this to everyone. Whenever my friends from overseas ask what to get around here, I always tell them to go to Mango's Grill. The people working here are very nice and offer great hospitality. read more

Mango's Grill is my new fave mexican/latin restaurant. We had the nachos as an appetizer and I had the lomo saltado as my entree. Both were delicious and flavorful. The maracuya drink was refreshing. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! read more

I am a Chicana from Texas from a family that considers cooking an art form and today I stopped at Mango Grill for the first time. It was great. I have tried every Mexican restaurant in Laurel and have come away disappointed. MANGO Grill is like eating at a Tia's house, not exactly like Mama's cooking but still within the confines of the family standard. definitely a notch above typical Mexican restaurants. this is a Latin American restaurant that has the typical Mexican fare (enchiladas, burritos, carne asada, etc) there are many items on the menu that I'm not familiar with and will definitely go back to try. I had a steak burrito (which really was outstanding), and my daughter had Lomo Saltado which was great. Definitely try the queso with chorizo appetizer...just great. I am looking forward to going back and trying the varied and lengthy menu. read more

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo dinner with a carryout order. The seafood chimichanga, combination enchiladas and margaritas were delicious. My favorite part of the meal was the handmade tamales and the pork and cheese papusa. The chili on the tamales was super flavorful. I got the chipotle cream sauce instead of the cheese sauce for the chimichanga and it was really good and spicy! Great food! read more

Today was a disaster! I have not seen such an unprofessional attitude at any other place before. We went in to celebrate but came back not only disappointed but literally harassed. I hope he is not the manager, this gentleman stopped at our table and explained that we have ordered very little and instructed we should order more. We ordered two more dishes and he came again to ask why only two more? Finally, he stopped by to enhance the experience and said "we have small appetite". May god bless this place. A little pricey but I LOVE the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant when dining in. One of my favorites.

The food here is ok - I've had better and I've had worse. I had the ground beef tacos and be warned that there's either a soy filler or some kind of other additive that I'm allergic to being used in the sauce. I ended up at the urgent care clinic down the street with an allergic reaction and had to get a nice shot of epinephrine. My dinner date had the chicken enchiladas and that was better than the ground beef, but nothing to write home about. read more

I came here wanting mexican food like the mexican restaurants I ate at in North Carolina. This type is very different than what I am used to. What kind of mexican restaurant uses Monterey Jack in their quesodillas? I didn't like that at all. The burrito I got was not what I really wanted. I wanted a basic tomato sauce on top and that delicious Mexican cheese. If anyone has any suggestions on Mexican restaurants that have what I want I would love that. The wait staff were very nice. Just so so for me. I went on a sunny afternoon in time to catch the lunch specials that end at 3. I appreciate not having to wait a long time for my food but literally my food came out like 5.6 seconds after I ordered. So right then I knew it was going to be a mediocre experience. The food here was very lackluster and flavorless. My husband ordered a quesadilla, and queso for our chips. The first queso came out tasting horribly like straight margarine and not at all like cheese (ugh). You could see the oily butter floating near the top. They brought us out a second one without any butter but then it was just like creamy water...still no taste of cheese whatsoever. The house salsa that came out with the chips was also quite flavorless. His quesadilla tasted so strongly like salt that each of us ate 1 small piece, left the remainder and at that point just got the check. Ok so the food is just ok. Its not bad its not great. Its kind of dull I'm sorry to say. We ordered the shrimp with pepper cream sauce. Its decent just nothing wow. Also got the shrimp fajitas, same deal. If you order fajitas make sure to ask for sour cream and cheese as I got neither and I think that would have helped a lot. The cheese pupusa is also decent. Thankfully its not dry but I like my filling to be a bit stringier and less crumbly. We tried the xango banana and plantain empanadas for dessert and honestly I would advise that you avoid the dessert. The xango banana is a cheesecake fried in a pastry, its unnecessary. The plantain empanada is literally an empanada made from mashed plantains. Unless you love plantains its not that special. The tamarindo juice was good but I havent had that bad anywhere yet. I really wanted to love this place but all I can muster is a meh. read more

Have lived in the southwest for many years and this is clearly the best food of its kind in the area. Service has been friendly and efficient each of the many times we have been here, now probably in the high teens, low twenties and for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Food is fresh and authentic and the prices very reasonable. Hard to give a local Mexican restaurant five stars, I kind of reserve that for special haute cuisine restaurants, but this is as close as you can get otherwise. read more

My husband and I tried this place out this week for the first time. We are big fans of Mexican food. The free salsa and chips were yummy. The food was very flavorful and delicious, but the portions were small. The people that worked there were very nice and attentive. The place could use some help with regards to decorating and making it more of a Mexican restaurant feel. Overall, we would definitely go back. While staying in town for a fitness competition this place popped up as being close and looked decent. It's in the middle of a shopping center and you could drive past it of you don't pay attention. The food was ok. I had a steak with chorizo on top which came with salad and rice. It got the job done but I wouldn't rush back here if I was in the area. The steak seemed like it was frozen then cooked bc it was not as juicy as I would have liked. The flavoring was on the weaker side. Interior is rather plain. Not much of a feel to the restaurant. Staff was friendly and food was server relatively quickly. read more

My boyfriend and I came here today and let me tell you...this place is amazing! Its in a shopping center and could easily just walk past it like its just another carry out or something. The service was great from the beginning, we were greeted & seated immediately. I ordered a glass of sangria and that was amazing. For the appetizer we agreed on Mejillones Al Ajillo (mussels) and they were the best mussels I've ever had. Seriously. I ordered Camarones Fajitas, it was fresh broiled shrimp and my by boyfriend had the Mango Grill Fajitas, it was a combination of chicken, shrimp, and steak..and again everything was delicious and fresh! The service was excellent, the server was very attentive and on top of things. Anna, one of the owners brought out the food and constantly checked on us. We told her the food was great and it was our first time visiting Mangos, and this wonderful lady brings us some desert! Tres Leches. We were just in awe. And that too was delicious.
