After applying my $50 gift card letter, the final total was brought down to $52. As always, Chandra provided excellent service. On another visit, we joined my son and his wife at the bar for happy hour. I ordered the happy hour lobster roll for $26. Before gratuity, the total came out to $102, which was lowered to $52 after using my $50 gift card letter. Chandra gave us great service once again. We returned once more with my son and his wife for happy hour at the bar. For this trip, my lobster roll came with a noticeably smaller portion of lobster compared to previous times. The bill prior to tip was $109. Applying my $50 gift letter brought the balance down to $59. As usual, Chandra took great care of us. We all agreed that we'll definitely keep returning for lunch, happy hour, or dinner.

Big Fish Grill is a DelMarVa beach staple. This is a great spot if you're looking for a relaxed…read moreseafood meal for the whole family. Big Fish does take limited reservations, but if you're going without -- at peak hours -- during peak season -- be prepared to wait! I love coming here for a big lunch on a weekday when the scene is much quieter. The quality of the food is excellent. However, the portions can be mercurial. I know that not every swordfish steak or scallop is the same size, but sometimes I'm stuffed and other times I'm left a little hungry. But I'm never disappointed by the peanut butter pie! Make sure to save room and plan to share with your fellow diners because this slice of pie packs a punch! Ambiance is casual with paper on the tables where the servers write their names and large marine life models hanging from the ceilings and walls. Service could be a bit more attentive on the multiple times I've been there -- I've frequently been left needing a refill on my water or cola -- especially after a dehydrating day at the beach.

They texted us and the text provided a wait list showing what place we were in the queue, and much was pretty nice. For the appetizer, we got the Crab Spinach Dip, which was odd in and of itself because the menu says it has artichokes but doesn't mention spinach. It came with chips and was very tasty. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the portion. The bowl of dip was not full and while the chips did cover the amount of dip, it wasn't very much. For dinner, I got the Fish & Chips, Fries and Cole Slaw. It wasn't bad. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad. I'd probably try something else next time. My wife got the Crab Imperial, which was very good. She also got a Bloody Mary to go with her meal. My son got the Big Shrimp with Saffron rice and broccoli, which was very good. Our friend got the Big Chicken with what looked like pureed Yams. He thought it was decent. The highlight was the dessert, which was the Double Chocolate Cake and a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. We really enjoyed it. Our wait staff did a decent job as well. We will definitely be back.

We had a group of 8 who reserved a table before we headed over to the Freeman Arts Pavilion for a concert. The facility is clean and bright with window views just about everywhere and has both a large bar area as well as a roomy dining area. Great selection of wines and specialty martinis---our group tried many and there were no complaints! Nice size pours and creative presentations for the martinis. Dinner options run from salads and burgers to traditional locally focused entrees and our group had a little of each---nobody went to the concert hungry! Personally had the sirloin with mashed potatoes, Brussels, and a savory demi-glaze. Service was exceptional and attentive to our larger group and everyone else there for dinner.

It's just beautiful to look out on the evening sky over the bay. So getting into it I ordered the froze at the recommendation of our server (i forget what I was between). It was good but I won't get again, I'm not big into the sweet frozen stuff so I should have known better, but I was trying something different. As a table we started with warm cornbread. Myself and my daughter got the shrimp and grits, can't ever go wrong! My father got the big fat crab cakes (his go to staple), and my mom went with simple fried shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and my daughter couldn't wait for dessert. Although I was too stuffed we got the triple chocolate brownie sundae at my daughter's request to celebrate my bday. I couldn't snap a photo before she dug in!! Service was wonderful, manager even came over to be sure everything was well. He even snapped a family photo for us on our way out. Will return for sure!!
