Love this place since I've been to something similar in Hong Kong before. This place brought back so many memories of my trip there. Everything was same as the one in Hong Kong. I was most excited to try the mango pancake and the green tea crepe cake. To my surprise they were both very tasty and not overly sweet. The one thing I tried I didn't really like was the ice cream waffle. Both ice cream and waffle plus the sauce which I believe is condense milk made the dessert overly sweet. If I had to come back for desert I'd probably eat the mango pancake or crepe cake again. Prices are pretty high here though everything from drinks to dessert were $7 and up. Cute sit down place just opened at Pearlridge today! I ordered a mango smoothie . Mango crepe cake and a mango juice w Sago and lychee jelly all to go. They had a grand opening special so I got my mango smoothie for free w $15 purchase! Most of their desserts comes with ice cream which I opted to not take out so I need to eat in and try those next time! The mango crepe cake is a good take out choice and came in a cute box! The cake was light and not too sweet. I didn't care for the mango juice w sago because it wasn't a good takeout dessert choice, just mango in juice w lychee jelly and sago but doesn't work well for takeout as it becomes a melted thing that should be in a cup rather than a bowl if not eating there. The mango smoothie was okay, didn't really taste like mango to me. I took off a star because I guess I'm spoiled eating Hawaii grown mango which is sweet and yummy. The mango used here is not sweet, kinda bland and just not the kind of fresh mango that I like from Hawaii. Despite its name, Mango Mango Dessert has plenty of non-mango options for those who may not be mango inclined or are just craving something else! Stopped by to try out the Watermelon Smoothie, and it was one of the most refreshing and flavorful drinks I've had. I was excited to finally try this place out, however perhaps I may have not visited at the right time. I came here on Sunday with my friend and family. We walked in right after they opened at 11am. We decided to dine in. The staff was friendly and explained some of the things on the menu. However, a lot of items we wanted to order were not ready yet. My husband wanted to try the milk tea with boba but they said that since they make the boba fresh each morning it wasn't ready yet. That was a bummer. Then my friend wanted to order the mango mochi but again they said it wasn't ready yet and we could check back with them to see if it was done before we leave. We were there for almost an hour and the mango mochi was still not ready. Another bummer! As for the food that was available...The waffle came with two small waffles with fruits, chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top. It was okay. I enjoyed the mango pancake but wish it came with another piece for the price. My jasmine tea was good but again a little pricey. The place is very cute and clean. A great little spot to splurge on some drinks, waffle dessert or mango treats. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in our first visit as some menu items were not available and ready when they were opened. And to top it off, after I got my bill I realized only later that I was charged a takeout fee, which is confusing since we ate in the establishment and didn't take anything out. And I was so happy to see that there's one now here in HI. if you're anything like me and constantly crave fresh tropical fruit without the super sweet additives, this is your place! This cute little shop is located downtown Pearlridge Mall. Across of HOT TOPIC, where Koko sushi used to be. The interior has a bright, inviting atmosphere. There are some tables for indoor dining. It was a little busy the time I went, so I just grabbed and go. The cashier was friendly, and she HIGHLY recommended the strawberry snow drink which is strawberry/coconut. I also ordered a peach drink with cheese foam and an Ube crepe. The drinks were really good. Very refreshing, and not ridiculously sweet. The cheese foam was a perfect add on to my peach drink. The Ube crepe was good. It had a light Ube taste to it. Packaging for the to go orders were great and very handy. I didn't have to juggle my drinks to the car. This place is so cute! I love how clean and decorated their shop is. As I walked to the front, I was greeted by a friendly worker. I didn't get her name but she helped me break down their extensive menu. She told me their 3 most popular drinks. I came in wanting something with mango, due to their name. Somehow I decided on their cheese foam strawberry tea, which is their #3 top drink. She told me that it would be ready in 30 seconds. I thought she was exaggerating but it really did come out super quick. It was very refreshing and you can taste the fresh strawberries. It's not very sweet. I have always wanted to try this place and have read so many great things about the drinks and desserts. But...my expectations fell short of the experience. I love crepe cake because of the intricacies of the layers and crème combined however the cake offered here was just okay. For $12 a slice I expected earth shattering deliciousness and comparable to desserts I have had on the West coast. The cake offered here tasted a little old..the crème a bit more waxy and the crepe a little mushy..after one bite I was done. The mango drink looked promising with a white type of jello creme on the bottom topped with a mango slushy then more jello like sustenance and finished with sliced mango. Without mixing the drink..it was not appetizing just tasted clunky with an awkward texture that meshed jello, purée, slush and fruit. Mixing the flavors together into one drink seemed to offer a little more consistency but I think by the time I had my earlier sips..I was already not into the drink. It is highly likely I just ordered the wrong items and maybe there are better things to be had on the menu. Went here 30mins before they close and ordered 2 items for takeout. I had the mango with black rice in mango juice (1/5star) and my husband ordered ube soup with rice balls (3/5star). The mango with black rice in mango juice was very bland ($8.75). There was nowhere to find the fresh, sweet & bold mango which you typically find in dessert made with fresh mangos. The mango juice in it was even worse, not only was it bland, but it also have a sour, bitter aftertaste... I couldn't finish the half of it and end of tossing it. My husband liked his dessert, it was not bad. But considering the content and portion in comparison with its pricing I would give it a 3 stars out of 5. Miss Chen Cake in 808 Center has way better uber mochi soup dessert that has chucks of ube in addition to the tapioca and mochi ball. I don't think we'll return for more. We tried and it's now off the list. Unless they started to use fresh mangos (not canned, frozen or mango syrup) for their dessert, we might give it a second try. read more

Love that there's a place simply dedicated to mango desserts and drinks, as well as other flavors (strawberry, ube, watermelon, durian just to name a few). The staff are nice and efficient. Sometimes it hard to hear them because they'll have music blasting, but the customer service is fairly good. There are some differences with the Ala Moana location, but not really (just a couple desserts) -- take your pick on whether you want to make that drive but both locations do each justice. Both are aesthetically pleasing and comforting. The desserts are just as delicious, but the customer service are drastically different in my opinion based on who is working I guess. I enjoy this location simply because of how close it is to home and accessibility compared to the Ala Moana location, as well as the mango desserts! Definitely come here when I have room for desserts. read more

Came here with my sister and we got the Combo C, which includes two hot teas and a big slice of crepe cake. We wanted to get the cocoa crepe cake but they were out so we got the ube instead, along with lemon chrysanthemum tea and rose oolong tea. The ube crepe cake was good, not too sweet. Out of the two teas I loved the lemon chrysanthemum tea but be aware that if you don't drink it quickly enough, the tea in the pot will become more and more sour. I don't mind sour lemon tea but some people may not like it. It's sweet and perfect in the beginning though. The rose oolong tea was good as well. The workers brought our order to our table and they were very nice. At the time we were there, there were a lot of other customers eating desserts or drinking boba as well, but it wasn't too loud or crowded. Very tiny but cute interior. I love that they use fresh fruit. They had boxes on top of boxes of fresh mangoes by the cashier which is always great to see. I tried the coconut mango no boba, my sister got strawberry mango with boba and my dad got coconut with boba. Place looks really nice, clean, trendy. You can order at the counter to go sit down and they will take your order of dining in. We had the mango pancake and the green tea smoothie with red bean and black rice drink. Mango pancake is a mango crepe wrapped around some mango enveloped in whipped cream. The whipped cream is sweet, but the fresh mango is tart so it balances out. (I believe they use California mango shipped in.) you get two pieces and it's a nice dessert, fun to try. I do prefer sweeter mango but it was good. Friend had the green tea smoothie with red azuki beans on top and the nice chewy black rice is of course at the bottom in the smoothie. This was her first time getting a drink with black rice and she really liked it. She said she'd order this again. This is a cute spot with unique desserts. I've only ever get their black sesame soup with mochi or rice balls and ube sago soup. I have yet to try other things on the menu, only if I can stir away from their soups! But I can't because I enjoy it so much. The black sesame soup is not sweet at all and I love the taste of the black sesame. The same goes for the ube sago soup. The prices are kind of high, so it's always a treat.
