Mango House is a wonderful institution on colfax that i frequent often as im lucky enough to live close by. I've gotten to experience so many new foods thanks to their program that helps immigrants start their own food businesses. I've had Burmese, Nepalese, Haitian, Sudanese and more and its so much fun to come and try something new! This place is so welcoming and it feels like im getting a home-cooked meal out of their kitchens. The pride and joy the people put into everything here from the food to the shops is really something special.

This is a very casual food hall, no adult drinks of any kind. Very cafeteria-like but it does have an international vibe with the handful of food stalls. I think there were about 4 or 5 of them. For me personally, there wasn't anything too crazy that I haven't tried before. There were a few interesting items at the middle eastern/mediterranean/greek place but I could only eat so much at once! Lol I went with Ethiopian food though they didn't have a combo, it was either all veggie or all meat. I was worried if the meat would be fatty, so I went with all veggie. Very tasty still! They have some other centers inside there and a jam packed overloaded Asian grocery store. For parking, if you don't want to park on Colfax, there is a back lot. It's poorly marked, though. You have to pretend you're going to the bank parking. Eventually as you follow that, you'll see the Mango House parking. They did close earlier than expected, as well. I think what Google said was off by an hour. If you go later in the day, might want to double check that before you go.

I highly suggest coming here for your Ethiopian fix. There is plenty of space to park, so there's no excuse. I came into the back entrance and it's not what I expected. It's essentially a hall almost like a food court and it has a handful of stores that sells clothing from the motherland, a handful of offices, such as law office and dentist office and of course a handful of restaurants. Most of the things in there were African, but there was one library and all the materials that I saw that were out on display was in Spanish. This place accepts all race all creed all people. I went to, the restaurant called Natoli. Ordered the veggie combo and shakla tibs. The veggie combo was huge and we had to take it home. The beef was simply delightful, and we finished that in one sitting. The beef is good enough for one person while the veggie you could probably share that for two people. They also have soft drinks and bottle water to sell. After ordering, it took about 15 minutes to get our food. Midway through our meal the owner came over and started chatting with us. She was super sweet and talked about the food. You can tell she makes it with love It taste just like that because it wasscrumptious.

The colorful building is a bright gem in this neighborhood. The neighborhood itself is a bit transitional and may feel uncomfortable to walk if you park in certain areas. Stick to parking at the main entrance and you won't have any issues. The mission and community built by the Mango House is incredible. Providing resources to those navigating immigration. The shops, the food, the people were excellent. I enjoyed learning about the various cuisines the most. We got the Burmese foods and it was delicious! Service was excellent! I found it convenient having a sink in the dining area to wash up before and after dining. The staff helped bus tables but also provide bins for those that are able to assist.

Our supper club has been wanting to go to mango house for a long time and we finally did a couple weeks ago. We wish we went a little earlier on in the evening because a lot of the restaurant options were closed when we got there, but we ate at Urban Burma and confidently ordered at least half the menu. Everything we ate was delicious and the people there were incredible. Mango house seems like a very cool mix between a community center, incredible food, family services, and shops. What a cool place that I'm looking forward to going back to. I'm also excited to watch the documentary that was made about it because I haven't gotten to do that yet!

Mango House is a nice resource for cultural knowledge. And to top it off, it is home to a couple food businesses. It's tucked away in North West Aurora off of Colfax. There's plenty of parking, but may be crowded on bus hours. My favorite so far there is Urban Burma, but I still need to try a bunch of more of the places. I have my eyes on 509 Cuisine which is Haitian food. Mango House is a hidden gem and can't wait to come back!

Lots of yummy places in this little mall. We ate at Urban Burma and it was amazing. I would highly recommend this--lots of good for a good price if you're looking for authentic Burmese food. It was my first time trying it and I can't wait to go back! There isn't any ambience since it's in a strip mall but if you're strictly looking for somewhere yummy, this is a good place.

Mango house is a fantastic stop. If you were coming just for the food it would be completely worth it, but this place is so much more than that. It appears that each place in here is either run by refugees from other countries or those representing those countries. There is a food court, a medical center, and other shops throughout the location. I only got a chance to try the Bernese food, but based on the reactions and feedback from the other people, everything else was fantastic as well. You will have to made a few stops and I can guarantee you won't be let down!

I loved this place! Welcome to a large ethnic food hall that has some amazing places! Here, there should be something for everyone! Both the Syrian and the Ethiopian places that I've tried blew me away- they were absolutely delicious and some of the best I've found in the city. This place also has Nepalese and Japanese style restaurants which I didn't try yet, but it seems the competition is stiff here- I wouldn't be surprised if they were also fantastic. Mango House has some amazing food and it's an interesting place to go, therefore I definitely recommend it for foodies- it's a must try! I'll definitely be back from time to time when I'm in the area. Enjoy & happy eating!!

Is so hard to know what to order with so many food I am unfamiliar with. Tried a gyro sandwich that was very, very fair. Seems like the gyro meat was the kind you buy at Costco. Need to go back.

What a hidden little gem off of Colfax... Yes! Colfax! This venue offers authentic ethnic food options from various cuisines. The owners of each of these mini-take out restaurants are hoping to start their own stand alone restaurants. Try out Burmese, Ethiopian, Syrian, African, or Asian dishes... made fresh and on the spot. Mango House also has little clothing shops and access to medical and dental care. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon and were greeted by various store owners with such inviting and warm welcomes. I'd stop in again to see what new cuisine is being highlighted!

My wife, daughter and I accidently stumbled into this wanting something "different". We had Syrian and Ethiopian and everything was not only fast and reasonably priced but the folks were extremely welcoming and friendly. I've eaten at Mom and Pops in many places around the world and this surprise on Colfax was a remarkable find. We'll be back (probably ever time we go nearby!)

This place has such a liminal vibe, but it really is a hidden gem. I ate at the Burman restaurant and it was really good I especially loved the cabbage salad, which was surprising because I assumed I wouldn't. Everything was well seasoned and you could tell it was very fresh. Will definitely be back again to try the Lebanese place next! If you're looking to switch it up and tired of the same old same old this is definitely a good spot. read more

The Mango House is such an awesome establishment! The community here consists of refugees from all over the world who opened their own restaurants and the food is outstanding! This space boasts a variety of different ethnic cuisines as there are six restaurants to eat at and I've had the pleasure of eating at half of them. The owners of the restaurants are so friendly and you definitely can feel the positivity this space radiates. There's also a medical and dental clinic along with a small international food market. If you miss traveling and the experience of different cultures, this place has you covered in terms of a great culture and international vibe. read more

I have eaten at all the small restaurants in the mango house. So so delicious. Combine the smell of them all and it's something awful. Like rotten eggs or something of the sorts. I have never been able to stay and eat at the mango house because I literally gag when I walk in. What I'm not understanding is how? Like I said, every little restaurant is so delicious. We have had take out many of times from them all. But something has to be done about the building. Put in better ventilation? Needless to say, it smelled so bad that you are not sure if it's actually cleaned properly. I understand that it's a refugee safe home but during a pandemic it doesn't seem very clean. read more

Amazing food. Amazing mission. Perfect for trying a variety of food and entertaining many people with a wide variety of food preferences and sensitivities. Staff is excellent and we especially the little girl that loves to take our son to the boat and go on a pretend speedboat ride. read more

What a real gem of a collective. Each person who runs their own little restaurant is very nice and walks you through their unique menu. Sudanese, Burmese, Somali, Syrian and Nepalese. Prices are reasonable. I had the Sudanese aeglise which is a grilled lamb or chicken skewer with a spice rub and chutney that was brilliantly spicy with a side of clove spiced rice. Nepalese channa chuira was a bright mixture of veggies and legumes in a green type of curry with flattened rice, chrispy and delightful. read more

This international food court is an excellent concept, and it really delivers. If you're looking to expand your palate this place offers Burmese, Syrian, Nepalese cuisine and more. The best part is that it's affordable and delicious. Everything I've had there so far has been very tasty. While you're there check out the market which offers imported foods and clothing. This place is amazing! The eating area is a food court style and we grabbed a little something from each of the restaurants to split. Absolutely everything was delicious and served fresh with friendly service, but we were especially blown away by the veggie curry at Urban Burma and the Sooksay from Jasmine. There was plenty of seating and the space was very clean and COVID-smart. There are a couple little shops, a kids play area, and some gorgeous cultural art in the building alongside their resources for refugees and asylees. While on east colfax, the space around the building feels plenty safe and there is a free parking lot behind the building (be careful not to park in the bank lot on Galene). Mango House serves an incredible mission and I'm proud to have them in our community. I highly recommend paying them a visit! read more

Went with a group and at at Urban Burma and Taste of Sudan. Got to try my dish and all my friends dishes, and every single one was delicious, especially loved all the noodle dishes from Urban Burma. There was space for a large group, family friendly, and the food came out fast! I'll be heading back as often as I can! read more

Great food for a great cause at very reasonable prices. Go here and support our immigrant community - the bonus is super-delicious food. Stalls with food from Burma, Sudan, Syria, Japan, Somalia, and Nepal. We ate at most of them and everything was tasty. Highlights were the Sudanese buns with amazing chili-peanut sauce, and the Nepalese masala noodles. So dang good. Support these good people and great food! read more

I came to Mango House on a trip to Aurora and was incredibly grateful to my local friends for taking me there. We had Sudanese, Burmese, and Syrian Food in one meal and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The customer service was warm and thoughtful. read more

Everything about Mango House is amazing. We tried dishes from each restaurant, with nothing disappointing. The Burmese restaurant made an incredible tea leaf salad (one of my favorite things). The Sudanese bean, feta and egg was perfect. Ditto for the Nepalese and Syrian dishes. What makes this place a not to miss spot is how appreciative and delightful each owner was. Not only is the food amazing and the staff sincere, it is important to support these refugees in their quest to make Colorado their home. Everyone should support and patronize Mango House. We will be going back again and again and bring many more of our friends. read more

Finally got to try a few restaurants at Mango House today and I cannot wait to go back!! I had a little something from Urban Burma, Nepali Mountain Kitchen, and Jasmine Syrian. Everything was fabulous and everyone was so fabulous. We had to leave quickly, but I'm already planning my next trip and will leave enough time to shop around at the clothing kiosks and stores. read more

Eat well, while supporting your fellow person. You get to help out people as you're eating amazing food. I love that you can choose from several different regions. There's a comfy spot in the front of you can sit cafeteria style. It felt homey, welcoming. We will definitely be back. It felt good to support refugees and their families and not some corporate chain. read more

Recently returned to Denver and was pleasantly surprised to find "JASMINE" survived the pandemic. I had my usual, lamb shank with hummus and babaganush and falafel and was pleased that the excellent taste and quality had not changed. Mohammed and his new wife Toka do a great job and their families escape from Syria is absolutely amazing. The other kiosks are awesome. Try the Mango House and you will be a regular customer . Terrific food on a terrific mission. We chowed down at all five food counters, with Burmese chicken noodles, fermented tea leaf salad, and veggie curry; Syrian shwarma, pita, dolmas, and hummus; momos and roasted lamb; fried samosas -- you name it. Our servers were so fun and fantastic, taking pictures with us and laughing with us and telling us their stories. It was great to see kids running around the play area, being kids. In addition to incredible food, Mango House houses a dentistry and medical facility, plus a tiny bazaar for goods and spices, as well as a central stage where they plan to host music and cultural events. Definitely want to go back soon. Highly recommended! read more

This place is amazing! Finally an ethic food court is in the Denver metro area and most of the owners are refugees. So far we have tried noodle bowls from Urban Burma, which we loved. Very flavorful and quality ingredients. We are excited to try all 6 restaurants :) read more

What a great place...the real deal for more obscure ethnic foods. All the stalls appear to be family run. And the prices are more than fair. I tried the Burmese stall and had noodles with chicken curry and a side of soup. Delicious. I hope the community supports this place. read more

What an amazing addition to the neighborhood. I've tried 3 of the 6 stalls at Mango House and was delighted with everything I had. Everyone in my family has really enjoyed their meals. We love the concept, love supporting new Americans, and love tasty food. I can't recommend this food hall highly enough. My challenge will be to not come every day! read more

There's also a ton of stores that sell Denver merchandise if you're looking for souvenirs. There's a lot to do and explore here. They had a cute photo booth upstairs. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy your food and/or drinks. They also had more shops for a variety of different audiences. Really something for everyone.
