We said we would think about what drinks to order since they didn't have what we originally wanted and they gave us our food but never came back to ask about drinks. Our server was extremely rude, and at one point our food was simply left for us to pick up ourselves because we were sitting off to the side and were not being attended to. We ordered the charcuterie board, which was served on a paper plate and surrounded by peanuts. This became a serious concern because my friend has a severe, potentially life-threatening peanut allergy. We immediately brought this to the staff's attention and asked whether anything else was prepared separately or could safely be served without exposure to peanuts. Instead of taking the concern seriously, we were met with laughter and a response that they "didn't know." What was especially concerning is that the menu did not clearly identify peanut allergens or provide any clear allergy information, and when we specifically brought up a potentially life-threatening allergy, there did not seem to be any urgency, concern, or willingness from the staff to help us determine what would be safe to eat. Food allergies are not something to joke about or dismiss. Unfortunately, the experience continued to go downhill. The shots we were served were visibly dirty, and the overall atmosphere and customer service left a lot to be desired. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way a restaurant responds when a customer raises a serious food allergy concern is extremely important. We expected basic attentiveness, cleanliness, and professionalism, and unfortunately received none of those things. Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not somewhere I would feel comfortable returning to, especially for anyone with a serious food allergy.
