Stopped at Mariano's while running errands in the area. The staff is friendly and the food is good. With all the Italian place in the area, this one is a must try for the food and the prices. The have a small counter to sit for quick bites and a restaurant style side which is more fancy. In the nicer weather there is outdoor seating which I'm sure helps since the interior seating is on the smaller side. There is ample parking and they accept online orders.

If you want to grab a slice and go lots of options, but not much room to sit, a small counter area that gets crowded quick and some window seats looking out. Enough for six tight. We did not get much in terms of variety but both slices were amazing, we popped in before going to the movie theater across the street. Both were amazing a Caesar salad slice (by far my fav seeing it through the glass it just screamed deliciousness) , and house salad slice. Counter service was quick and efficient, we even got some fancy glass dishes! Portion road seems to have a pizza place every 100 meters. This place had a decent size parking lot which is nice, some outdoor seating and a large dinning room with bar. We would definitely come back to get a better sense of the dining experiences.

2 Slices Plain - okay 1 Slice Spinach Ricotta - bad
David R.

A horrible first experience and I won't be back. Walked in to order and pick-up pizza. Ordered two slices of plain, one slice of spinach ricotta, and one chicken bacon ranch. Paid up front for my slices and the guy working there repeated my order back to me and I watched him put the correct slices in the oven. While I waited the guy behind the counter just chatted with two of his friends. One of them in there leaning on the pizza display with no mask. There was also someone cleaning and mopping the floors, but he also wore his mask on his chin and not over his mouth. After heating up my slices, the employee handed me my box and off I went. I didn't check my order but I should have because much to my chagrin there were only two plain slices and one spinach ricotta that tasted like old cheese and canned spinach. He left out my chicken bacon ranch slice but I wasn't going to drive back 20 minutes try and get that lost slice. Cheap pizza, cheaper service. Avoid especially if going later at night.

A pleasant experience...stopped by to get the Barbie pizza & garlic knots (pink food coloring) their pizza was amazing , nice and crispy..Robert the owner is terrific..very friendly ..the food was delicious..the standards they you would find at a pizzeria and restaurant plus specials ,,the right side the pizzeria ,,on the left the Resturant ..nice decor ...plenty of parking the location is in a strip mall ..I highly recommend the Veal Sorrentino with linguine ..the rice balls were very good sliced in half with melted cheese..I was craving for ravioli and Mangiamo didn't disappoint..fried calamari was crunchy and delicious..the little canolis were creamy and fresh ...Robert can also do other specialty pies from Disney characters as well..stop by your family will love the food

Amazing! Crispino - fresh mozzarella, tomatoe & roasted red pepper over a bed of mixed greens.

Welcome to the neighborhood Mangiamo! Thrilled to have another outstanding pizzeria / restaurant to choose from within minutes from my home. Staff is so welcoming, friendly and hardworking. It was nice to meet Caroline! Very personable! The restaurant is lovely and the dining area is beautifully decorated with a cozy feel. The menu is creative and has many delicious authentic Italian choices . Appetizers, wraps, soups, pasta, chicken, seafood, meat and combo dishes. I was very impressed with the interesting salad selections and Omg you must see all the specialty pie choices. Prices are very resonable. Most of the lunch dishes are less than $10. You must come in to see for yourself. Order online / Free delivery. www.mangiamoli.com. On & Off Premise Catering. Gift cards available. Best wishes MANGIAMO! See you soon!

Ooo thank you Yelp for helping me find this gem!…read more Small dark restaurant with limited tables and a long bar & stools and cool view of the wood-fired brick oven pizza. Everything was delicious and fresh, I only wished I lived close to this place because I would eat here all the time. Monday night dinner and only a few tables were filled which seemed strange to me since the food was A+, but the takeout was poppin. We started with 6 garlic knots. If you think you only need 6...you are wrong. You need 12, I'm serious! Such warm, crusty, garlicky goodness, they were gone in 60 seconds and we had to order more. - Caprese salad had perfectly ripe yellow and red tomato with a seriously gigantic ball of buffalo mozz - Caesar salad was a little too heavy on the dressing - fresh pasta so good! Papparadella with pesto and fresh mozz & rigatoni bolognese. Flavorful sauces! - Forresta pizza crust was so perfectly thin & crispy and the prosciutto was shaved thin and cooked crispy. Great combo with the arugula - sadly they were out of the tiramasu and sorbet so we tried a cannoli and it was very large filled with rich creamy ricotta and chocolate chips - thanks to a fellow yelper find...they have Mexican Coke! Small parking lot that seems to only go one way.

Service..in my experience being here a number of times, it's OK. Friendly but not fast or efficient. It doesn't stop me from coming here, but it's frustrating. The food is so so good. Their homemade pasta is delicious. Wood fired pizzas are amazing. Love their charred brussel sprouts. Meatballs taste like homemade. Very good food. The place is very small, so if you are coming with a large party, call ahead.

The parking situation was not too bad on early evening during the weekday, but I could totally see it get out of hand on the weekends, so plan accordingly. We were sat right away and the lovely server dropped a basket of bread while we peered through the menu. The free bread is quite good. We were all starving, so the cheesy chewy bread was great to munch on. I am also much more forgiving about a bit of wait for food if there is free bread being offered. It was also nice because we were seated right by the kitchen window, so it was like getting a dinner and a show. We got the Saporite, which reminded me of a Costco chicken bake with its creamy innards punctuated by grilled chicken. This is my brothers favorite, and I could see why. We also had the spaghetti seafood, which was so richly flavored with the seafood. I'm not sure I ever had Italian pasta so full of that umami seafood flavor. Truly wow. The ravioli verde was something we got to add something not-tomato based & it was an excellent choice. The sauce was verdant and creamy. The ravioli filling didn't feel like straight ricotta but I liked whatever they had done to it! The chicken parm was also a solid choice, good breading on hefty cutlets of chicken and a nice helping of charred cheese on top. We liked every single dish, and the portions were more than enough to feed all of us and leave leftover for the next day. I was especially touched by the professionalism of the young servers during what was becoming an increasingly crowded dinner service. We got extra bread, waters filled, and to go boxes promptly. The hype was surprisingly real. I guess I should not be surprised that a place that's been around since my childhood has withstood the test of time because it was good. Will revisit soon for lunch service.

Updated review long overdue…read more Last three times I visited... i had planned on updating this review; however, always forgot until now. Food 2/5 very overpriced for not so great quality. Portions are fairly still large if the food tastes bad... it takes a lot of effort in eating it. Service 2/5 workers are young i guess if that is a pro... but lacks common basics... too busy talking amongst each other and talking negatively about the job. Ambiance hasn't changed for years. They offer a cash discount. I am leaving this review for a self reminder tbh... everytime I visit i think to myself why did I do this to myself.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. The nachos had a generous amount of crumbled sausage cheese and bruschetta as well as some spicy peppers. We really enjoyed the nachos. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good. An overall very mixed experience but I want to give it another shot even if only for the nachos

From the moment we walked in, everyone was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality remained consistent throughout the entire visit. We started with appetizers. The meatball was absolutely delicious sauce and perfectly seasoned and impressively large. The crab meat topped artichoke was hands down the most delicious artichoke I've ever had. It was a flattened artichoke topped generously with crab meat, and the flavors were outstanding. For pasta, we ordered the Bolognese and the penne alla vodka. The Bolognese wasn't your typical red sauce -- it was more of a rich brown meats sauce, unique and incredibly flavorful. The penne alla vodka was outstanding, made with fresh pasta and a perfectly balanced sauce. For our entrées, we had the chicken parmesan and the veal chop. The chicken parmesan featured fresh, tender chicken topped with delicious mozzarella, and the sauce was out of this world. The veal chop, served in a delicious mushroom sauce, was cooked perfectly and is a dish I would highly recommend. To finish, we had pistachio gelato and a blood orange sorbet (a special that evening). Both desserts were amazing and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The service was impeccable -- our waitress Shanna was amazing, attentive, and friendly plus helpful. We were given a cozy table, and even the bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with washcloths to dry your hands. There's truly nothing negative to say. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

Upon entering we were warmly welcomed. While we decided on what we would be having, we were given complimentary fried zucchini strips & bread. The wait staff is very attentive. Having never been here but using Yelp as my foodie guide, with its high star rating, I somehow missed that this establishment is prixe fixed so you cannot order a La carte anything. I honestly wish I had read more reviews instead of focusing on just the high-star rating. Anyway, the prize fixed menu includes appetizer, main entree, dessert and coffee for $38.95 with up charges for specific items that are clearly marked. Of course, both myself and my hubby chose entrees (veal parmigiana and meat lasagna) with a $5.95 up charge for each. On this Friday night, there was live music. It was very fitting for this Italian restaurant with its cozy Italian bistro/cafe atmosphere. It made it feel like date night. Hearing the music in the background was very enjoyable. Now the food, which came out in a nice even pace so we were not rushed. The appetizers of baked clams and eggplant rollatine were good. My veal parmigiana was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. My hubby's meat lasagna was good but in comparison to my dish it missed the mark. The desserts & coffee were fine, but certainly nothing overly special. I'm the person who looks at dessert first because I look forward to that extra special thing at the end of the meal.
