I love dining in the back here! While the front is pretty chaotic and best suited for grab and go or takeout, the back feels like a whole different restaurant. Waiter service in a quiet, cozy dining room. The bread service is fantastic and the food is even better! The mushroom pasta was astounding, one of my new favorites!

Solid slice. Great service and ambiance. San Pelligrino w/ a slice for 6$ is a class act. Thank you O sole mio. !!!

We had dinner here before the movies. Great service and great food! My espresso martini was perfect! This place gets pretty packed quickly. It has a lot of tables almost everywhere. It felt like I went through a maze to get to the bathroom. It seems like they have a lot of regulars from conversations I overheard. They provided bread for the table. I went with the penne alla vodka and a side of breaded chicken. To finish, we shared the tiramisu. Would definitely be back and try new things.

Great pizza slices with a large variety to choose from. Hooked on their stracciatella soup with meatballs. Delicious cheesy garlicky knots that are chewy and soft when you bite into them. Service is always fast and friendly.

1/26/25 update: Another awesome dinner at O Sole Mio. Tonight I had a craving for linguini garlic oil & anchovies. I insisted that the do not use any broth when making the dish. The dish came out perfectly!!!! I enjoyed it so much and told the waiter that it was too good to eat in one sitting so I had him wrap the second half it up. The linguini was aldente and the garlic had a nice roasted flavor and was creamy soft! My wife had the Cavatelli Roselle with mushrooms, subdued tomatoes, asparagus and spinach. She said it was amazing! For the appetizer, she ordered the honey spice cauliflower which she loved! It looked like sesame chicken too! lol. Manuel did a great job working out table!

Neighborhood pizzeria's are my jam. This one is in a strip mall but was busy for lunch so it must be good. The grandpa square was lovely. The thin square also had a crunch to hit that was hard not to like. They have all sorts of specialty sliced as well. The dining room was busy for lunch which is a good sign. I would for sure come back for a slice.

Went back to this pizzeria in stony brook. Best part is they have alot of gluten free dishes which it was a PLUS! Usually their basket of bread comes with fresh garlic bread, other types of bread and usually their garlic bread was delicious but this time it tasted stale , but the other slice bread was delicious. Came with olive oil, olives, roasted garlic to dip your bread in. Their dishes were huge. Even bf couldn't even finish it. Gluten free Grilled chicken Parmigiana Fresh mozzarella and basil in a light marinara sauce.  Pasta alla Vodka with bowtie pasta House specialty. Pink cream and vodka sauce with a touch of meat. Delicious Great for private parties Private Parking lot Accepts Cash/card Gluten free dishes Outdoor dining Vegetarian dishes

This is one of my favorite pizza/restaurants on Long Island and I've been coming here for years and never been disappointed. To start the restaurant is super quiet and nice, staff is helpful and quick to take orders and bring delicious food to the table. Portions are huge, I never leave without a take out box. This time we stopped by for lunch and ordered a variety of items, we tried the bolognese that came with a delicious cup of pasta fragiole soup! The Italian submarine was tasty and packed with meats, slice of pepperoni pizza and my usual order of the veggie Stromboli served with a side of marinara sauce. We were in heaven, we were so stuffed by the time we were done with lunch, a trip to O Sole Mío never disappoints.

This is a solid place to stop for a slice before or after (or both tbh) seeing a movie at the AMC in the same shopping center. The pizza is hot and crispy and good. The seating is terrible but it's not like you're going to be there all that long. Would take a dinner to go but would not dine in because it's very cramped.

Came here for lunch and got a grandma and a grandma with breadcrumbs. This is not my first time having O Sole Mio--the catering has been a staple parties for years. Was a little disappointed with this visit. The slices were barely heated up, leaving some parts cold. The breadcrumbs slice was also a little bit gaggy and the regular grandma was just okay.

This is the second time we've visited this place, and the pizza is exquisite--a small spot, but relaxing and family-friendly.

You get 2 of the largest most perfectly crisp chicken breasts under a bed of vodka sauce and melted mozz. Enough to last you multiple meals! I also chose a side of pasta in vodka sauce which was huge and equally as delicious. It was the best chicken parm I have ever had. The service was also amazing. The restaurant was clean and really beautiful inside. The bar was hopping also if you like to sit at the bar instead of at a table! My husband and I decided we will be returning ASAP!

The decor as you enter is super cute and continues throughout the entire restaurant. They have a bar, a couple tables outside on Main Street and many different types of seating in the dining room. We were there on. Friday around 4pm and there was plenty of seating. Our server was quick attentive and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable and even provided recommendations. The food came out quick and was hot. One of the meals we ordered to split and they served us with it already split on 2 separate plates. They had a creative drink menu and had many creative food options. As I'm not a huge fan or red sauce, I was happy to see that I could get any of their meals with the vodka sauce. The fried gnocchi with the truffle sauce was so good we will definitely be back again. The chicken had a light breading that didn't take away from the taste of the meal. There is street parking and a shared lot in the back. It was a wonderful experience and meal and we will be back soon!

Upon entering we were warmly welcomed. While we decided on what we would be having, we were given complimentary fried zucchini strips & bread. The wait staff is very attentive. Having never been here but using Yelp as my foodie guide, with its high star rating, I somehow missed that this establishment is prixe fixed so you cannot order a La carte anything. I honestly wish I had read more reviews instead of focusing on just the high-star rating. Anyway, the prize fixed menu includes appetizer, main entree, dessert and coffee for $38.95 with up charges for specific items that are clearly marked. Of course, both myself and my hubby chose entrees (veal parmigiana and meat lasagna) with a $5.95 up charge for each. On this Friday night, there was live music. It was very fitting for this Italian restaurant with its cozy Italian bistro/cafe atmosphere. It made it feel like date night. Hearing the music in the background was very enjoyable. Now the food, which came out in a nice even pace so we were not rushed. The appetizers of baked clams and eggplant rollatine were good. My veal parmigiana was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. My hubby's meat lasagna was good but in comparison to my dish it missed the mark. The desserts & coffee were fine, but certainly nothing overly special. I'm the person who looks at dessert first because I look forward to that extra special thing at the end of the meal. Overall a nice dinner out with my hubby.

We made a quick pit stop here before heading out to Long Beach to catch the sunset and some live music on a Friday night. Let me just say, this place absolutely hits the mark, whether you're grabbing a pie to go or taking your time and soaking in the lively, authentic pizzeria vibe. The ambiance is effortlessly inviting. When you step in, you're greeted by the smell of fresh baked dough, gooey cheese, and a friendly crew behind the counter. Even though we were in a rush, you could tell Saint James is the kind of place where locals gather, families grab an easy dinner, and pizza lovers unite over a hot, cheesy slice. The walls are filled with classic memorabilia, and there's just something homey and vibrant about the space. Now to the star of the show: the pizza! We ordered a classic cheese pie right from their Yelp page (super easy process, by the way! All the menu options are laid out with prices and descriptions, and online ordering was a breeze). The crust was that perfect balance of thin, crisp on the bottom, with just enough chew to make each bite satisfying. The cheese was plentiful, gooey, and rich, with a tangy tomato sauce that tasted homemade. We enjoyed our pie oceanside at the beach, and even after the drive it held up perfectly. No sogginess or limp crust! I can only imagine how fantastic their pies are fresh from the oven in-house. Next time, I'm grabbing a seat and trying the pasta, too.
