Service was very friendly --the atmosphere -a take out pizza place with an open dining room --we tried stuffed mushrooms and they looked good but had no real taste. Disappointed. That said the chicken parm hero was nice served hot and tasty and the zuppa favorable generous portions of calamari shrimp muscle and clams and angel hair pasta. All in all our good was food and the waitress nice

My wife, my granddaughter, and I had dinner at Fattusco's. The freshly prepared dishes and pizza were fantastic. It is a pleasant restaurant and pizzeria run by a family. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available.

Have dined in twice in the last two weeks. The food and service overall were very good. The problem came when I ordered a decaf. I asked for fresh which the server accommodated---she made a new pot. I also asked for half and half, when I ordered, which I assumed she gave me. It's only after that she tells me they don't have any. No big issue. I'll drink my decaf with milk. It's when I ask for a refill that things go awry. She had left the check on the table and goes to pick it up. I tell her that I hadn't paid yet. She then tells me that she needs to adjust the bill. I was going to be charged an extra $3.50 for a refill!!!! You have got to be kidding me. On Super Bowl evening with the place 90% empty, I seriously doubt that anyone will be ordering a decaf---which means you will be tossing it out anyway. Here was a golden opportunity to win points with a customer and you blew it. My friend and I looked at each other. How chintzy can you get. These are the little things that businesses do that drive customers away. Trust me they were doing a landmark business this evening with takeout. And no I didn't stiff the waitress, she got a nice tip. I know she was following orders.

Favorite pizzeria in Northport. Regular slice can use some work but their specialty slices are killer. Entrees are solid too.

The ONLY pizza place the uses real Italian bread for hero's. All the others use that soft white "French m" bread. BIG difference.

$7 for a regular slice and a small fountain soda seems kind of expensive. Pizza is pretty good though .

Great spot for a specialty pie. Ordered two BBQ Chicken slices on my first visit and they were the best I've had in a long time

The two different gentlemen behind the counter who assisted me with my order (when I called for information and then when I called back to place my order) were friendly and helpful. Ordering from Amore for Christmas Eve was the best decision I made the entire holiday season! The food arrived on time, hot, and beautifully and perfectly packed, delivered by a smiling delivery kid, and (of course, most important of all!) absolutely delicious! Every bit as good as homemade - - caesar and Greek salads, penne a la vodka (fantastic), stuffed shells (gobbled right up), perfect eggplant Parm, out-of-this-world chicken francese with plenty of yummy garlic knots/bread and it came with plenty of really scrumptious mini-cannoli. I honestly cannot say enough about this catering order from Amore Pizza in East Northport. My all-Italian family was super impressed, and they don't impress easily with Italian food. And the price was really reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough. Oh yeah, and I should also mention - their pizza is great. Plain-old pizza is always great. My family-favorite is the creamy spinach which is really something special. Honestly, Amore is a gem of a place with super-great food - - the folks there are a pleasure to deal with. Can't recommend them highly enough! Diane G. Northport, NY

The blackened swordfish and broccoli rob was perfect, the chicken franchise was moist and delicious, the seafood salad and prosciutto and fresh mozzarella appetizers were delicious. The cappuccino and espresso's were perfect. Service was up to par. They told us an hour wait but we were seated in less than 45 mins. The hosting is definitely unorthodox but fun. They make you feel like family when you're there. We love this place and will return.

And made the 30+ Mile trip for something special. When we got there, the first thing you notice is the parking is atrocious; very few spots, and even dropping someone at the door and pulling out is difficult. Nonetheless, we managed and upon entering discovered the place was packed, ridiculously so. We stood around for 20 minutes (right next to an empty table for 8... just our number) while our wait staff tried to figure out where to put us. Finally the manager came out and told us to take the table. Super unorganized, and they don't take reservations. Make that make sense to me :/ Dinner was, at best, "adequate". Nothing to sing an opera about, frankly, coming from a family of accomplished cooks, our food is 100x better. Highlight was the chicken cutlet and penne ala vodka. I've never had such dry, crappy cutlets in all my life. Everything else was just "ok". The only saving grace was the prices were very reasonable. Had they been expensive on top of crappy I'd have blown my stack. After our mediocre dinner and dessert we paid our bill and left our usual 25% tip. My brother had to get the car and pull it up front (my dad has a walker) and our waitress came by and told us we HAD to leave because they were swamped and, "they needed the table". We had to struggle to get out the door which was packed with people (God forbid there was an emergency) and my dad had to wait, with his walker, in the rain under an overhang for 15 minutes until the car could pull up (my brother had to park down the road). Disgraceful, rude, and frankly, dangerous. So. If you like mediocre food at a reasonable price, and don't mind being packed into this little shithole where they ONLY accept cash... then by all means this is the place for you. Or you could drive up the road less than a quarter mile and go to Branzinos, where they run a restaurant that treats its customers like human beings, and not cash carrying cattle. You make the call. As for us? Never will go back. Ever.
