We stopped in to grab a quick slice and I tried the rice ball a few weeks ago and went back a couple times just for that. We finally tried actual meals last night. AMAZING. They offered many different types of pies on display and also had some awesome daily specials. With pizza, everything has to come together. The sauce was also overly acidic for my taste. I prefer a slightly sweeter sauce, and this one seemed heavily seasoned with dried oregano. Given all the glowing reviews, I expected something that stood out. Instead, I felt the pizza was no better than roughly 80% of the other pizzerias in the area. The crust desperately needs more flavor, whether that comes from a longer fermentation, more salt, or a combination of both.

We have been using Isabella's since they opened up a few years back. Aside from their pizza and great hero's, we have used their catering numerous times. We have ordered trays of their lasagna many times when entertaining. It is our favorite. We recently catered a large party and tried their Seafood Fra Diavolo, Fried Calamari, Penne Pesto Chicken Pasta and Chicken Florentine. All of the food was amazing. True restaurant quality and all of our guests had to know who made the food. I would not hesitate to order again and would certainly not hesitate to recommend their services for any party you may be catering. Nelson has always been extremely accommodating and after our last event I had to stop by and thank Nelson and the chef for their outstanding job. read more

I've lived in the area for about 15 years and had only tried Georgia's Pizza in Nesconset once…read morebefore--unfortunately, that first experience didn't leave much of an impression. Recently, I decided to give it another shot on two separate times, and some of their specialty pies: the vodka pizza with a garlic knot crust and the trio pizza (pesto, marinara, and vodka). I'll start with the positives--service was friendly and welcoming, which definitely made the experience more pleasant. And to be fair, the flavors across the pies were actually pretty good. The sauces complemented each other well. That said, the biggest issue--was the dough. It was noticeably undercooked which made the slices a bit doughy and hard to enjoy. On top of that, the pizza was quite greasy, which didn't help the overall texture. The undercooked dough stood out enough that it took away from what could have been a really solid pie. Another small note: the dining area looked like it could've used a quick sweep. Not a huge deal, but something that affects the overall impression when you walk in. I wouldn't completely write this place off, because the flavors are there and the staff is friendly. If I give it another try, I'd probably stick with a regular pie or maybe a Sicilian and specifically ask for it to be cooked well done. I think that could make a big difference.
