A great local spot to grab slices. They have a huge counter of options. Some of their slices are thicker but taste light (vs. heavy dough Chicago style pizza). All of the pizza is fresh and hit the spot. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken slice. Grabbed a few slices to go and they did not disappoint. This is my family's favorite little casual Italian spot. We come here and can dress however we want, the service is always quick and people are so nice, and the food is great! Their specials are awesome, they have a pasta night, chicken night, combo night, which are all a great deal. They come with a soup or salad to start, entree and dessert. The food is always hot and fresh, and they're so good with substitutions/ add ins. I have had a few specialty slices of pizza, all Yummy. We traditionally don't get pizza take out from here, only because there's other pizza places so much closer to my house, but their pizza take out business always looks busy. I will say, I always come during the week, so I'm not sure if the weekends are crazy. During the week they have a steady and decent dinner crowd. This will always be my family's go to! read more

Without a doubt, this was an awesome experience. We were coming to Northport for dinner and "Yelped" a few locations. Piezano's clearly came to the top of the list. Very conveniently located in a shopping center with an easy in and out and plenty of parking. The shop is bright and pleasant with a clean look. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in and I noticed many (really many) outgoing orders ready for pickup. This place was hopping. Most of the tables were filled and there was a constant flow of people picking up food. When we sat down I remarked how busy their takeout was and another customer told me that it's always non-stop. The waiter came over quickly with some bread and pizza bread. all fresh and tasty. I ordered the Lasagna and my wife ordered a chicken cutlet parm hero on Garlic bread. They do their own spin on the Lasagna making it thin and large to fit the whole plate... Definitely meaty and cheeses with fresh Lasagna noodles. My wife's hero was large enough for me to have lunch the next day. Plenty of tender chicken fried to a golden brown. THrough the whole night we watch the 'togo' order coming out reguaraky and delicious looking food be brought to tables. I am definately looking forward to the return trip. We went to Piezano's last Friday for dinner. I ordered the Chicken Caprese Panini and my husband had two different slices. The panini was very good. He said the square Margaretta was okay but the Brooklyn style pizza (sauce on top, cheese underneath) was absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the staff friendly. We saw others eating pasta dishes which peaked our interest. The next time we come back, we look forward to trying the Rigatoni Florentina. read more

Loved the atmosphere and would definitely come here for dinner. This place was packed upon coming in so I knew it was a good pizza restaurant. Now on to the pizza, it's prepared on s thin crust like a grandma's pie and not a Sicilian pie which I loved. I'm a big fan of grandma pies and loved that thin crus square pie style so this pie was a home run. Very tasty and well balanced with all the 3 components on this pie (marinara, vodka sauce, pesto). We loved the pie and can't wait to get it again. The pizza is very filling and 1 slice had me full and done for a few hours. Highly recommend if you looking for a place that sells the mvp pie. This place is not a bad pizza and Italian food restaurant it's just nothing stands out to me. The pizza is good and I enjoyed myself a margarita pizza and some stuffed mushrooms alongside a sweetened iced tea, here's the thing. The stuffed mushrooms tasted bad in my opinion a certain taste I don't favor kind of leafy and gross not my favorite. Also the iced tea is supposed to be sweetened but it tastes very bland and I personally thought it was unsweetened, I'm also just not a fan of that kind of tasting iced tea. As a result I'll take 2 stars off for these compliments as they kind of showed a weakness in restaurant excellence in my opinion. The pappardelle pasta was probably the best item alongside the calamari and pizza. The pappardelle was very tasty and my friend rated it an 8. So this place is decent for Italian food nothing crazy but I'd recommend those items I said and stay away from the mushrooms and iced tea, cheers! read more

I have eaten food from Piezano's on several occasions and each time the food was fresh, hot, delicious and plentiful! On the most recent occasion I ordered food for an at home get together. John was most helpful in helping me plan the menu, cautioned me when I was ordering too much food for the number of people I expected and was great at recommending which food items would be most enjoyed. His suggestions were right on the mark! The food was sensational! I had never tried the meatball sliders before. A dollop of tomato sauce with melted mozzarella was on the inside covering the soft, yummy meatball; the outside was a delectable "roll" that was very much like a large, tasty garlic knot. They were awesome! The stuffed artichoke hearts were delicious with a creamy stuffing that was out of this world! The wings were perfect! The penne a la vodka was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. My favorite was their mac and cheese which had a thick, creamy, tasty cheese sauce and had cut up pieces of fried chicken cutlets on top. It was just heavenly! The chicken parmigiana was wonderful as were the other dishes we ordered. All the food I ordered was wonderful and there were rave reviews from all our guests. I would recommend Piezano's for their wonderful service, their attention to your order and for their out of the park delicious food! Their usual spot was closed, so I offered up Piezano's, even went so far as to offer to order AND pay. I keep it classy! In addition to the usual cheese only pie for the vegetarians, you know your fella here needed a cheeseless variation -- so I ordered a medium, no cheese, garlic, onion, and mushroom. Piezano's isn't just a spot with a classy name, they also have music on the sidewalk. Lately your service at the counter is awful Chicken Cesar salad was served in wrong container size I asked for well done pizza from one server , only to have second server pull it out and box it , without it being cooked as asked The counter servers have been gruff and at times disrespectful, one time a military veteran was slow to order and and rude comment was made by the server as to why the veteran took so long to order.. The GrubHub delivery guy was perfect, but the food wasn't! We ordered two lentil soups with crackers on the side along with two spoons. We specified spoons twice in the order. As always in the past, never a spoon arrived. We were stuck sipping the extra watery soup from the plastic containers and had to eat the contents of the soup with a fork! The chicken wings were like rock and were mummified. They were drier than King Tut's brow! I am so tired of never getting spoons or utensils and disappointing orders. Just moved to Northport and was told this is the best pizza spot in town. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I waited until my third visit to write a review.
