We stopped in for pizza pickup on a busy Friday night and the pizza was ready and hot and tasted delicious we also ordered chicken wings in regular and Buffalo and those were excellent as well. Plenty of parking in the lots in front for easy in and out to route 17. The server got us checked out in a hurry and by the looks of things, the ambience was somewhat upscale and those that came in for dining room seating were nicely dressed. Menu has everything- including a deep dish that I was craving. And if I tell you I want a deep dish, don't respond with, 'deep dish?' with an 'I don't know what's a deep dish?' bubble over your head! Mangiamo is becoming one of our new favorite pizza place to order from! We ordered again---it was one of those nights where no one wanted to cook anything dinner and you just cannot say no to pizza. Decided on our favorite pie--chicken bacon ranch, an order of crispy calamari, and their cheesy garlic bread. Our order arrived earlier than expected and still hot upon delivery. The pizza did not disappoint as always and was so yummy! Calamari was served with slices of lemon and marinara sauce and was so fresh and fried perfectly. Pizza was not good. Hate to say it but I tried. The cheese was thin and rubbery, there was barely any sauce on it (despite how it looked) and was incredibly thick. There was so much flour on the bottom my fingers had a white-brown powder. Crunchy and way too thick. The ink way I was able to eat it was by adding ranch, hot sauce, and a couple other condiments. The garlic knots were the saving grace. Abundant, fresh garlic, not oily and pillowy soft. However the sauce it came was nearly water in its consistency, and had a weird metallic aftertaste. My family's go to pizza place in town! I personally love their margarita and Buffalo chicken pizza. Also highly recommend their bruschetta (but more for dine in for maximum flavor and freshness). Tomatoes taste so good and so fresh they're the best. Delivery is usually pretty quick but whenever we do order for delivery we never get the crushed red pepper packets we ask for, which was again the same for today. Kind of annoying but the food's still good so it's clearly not stopping us from coming back haha. Uh!!! Negative 1000 stars if I could! We ordered delivery on 8/24/22. Over one hour and a half later - it arrived. We had to call numerous times asking for status. When the food finally arrived I noticed the delivery guy was standing out by the curb holding our order, but not walking up to our front door. I opened the door and asked him if he had our delivery and he said, "he was not approaching the house because of our dog." Well, we do not and never had a dog. Unreal. Food arrives - the pizza had entire sections of cheese missing - just sauce. It was cold and cardboard like. Inedible! The mozzarella sticks tasted and smelled like FISH! In fact, this taste and smell of fish was so prominent, I broke one open to make sure I did not get actual fish sticks by accident. So the entire lunch was inedible. And what's up with these prices! $55 dollars for our order - that's the price of a decent entrée at a 5 start restaurant. And it gets better: We called the restaurant roughly an hour after this slop arrived and and explained our tale of woe to the man who answered the phone. Instead of showing genuine concern for unhappy customers, he chose to argue with us and tell us how great his food is and basically accused us of lying (right down to denying the 90 minute plus delivery time.) If this man is a Yelper and is reading this right now - shame on you. I would personally like to invite you and your family to my home to eat these wonderful leftovers.....that delicious "fresh" food you claim you serve. I will also supply the barf bags. read more
